good morning ladies
can't believe its Thursday already. Woke up really early, having a few problems with
the ac.
it seemed hot in here and the ac circuit breaker had tripped during the
night. I really need a hard start capacitor on it.
Coffee is on and I'll make some toast.
Gonna do dishes and clean the kitchen, thats about it for the day. Whats in your
plans for today?

Another hot day here but some promising looking clouds. The paper said the high humidity was here for the 'foreseeable future"...I could have done without that forecast! I read about the B & B get together and sounds like the
heat there was about the same as here. Oh well I'll take a long nap as I had a sleepless night for some reason.
The hypnosis session I did with the woman for weight loss yesterday went well and she is going to come back for a couple more sessions. Now to see if she gets results! I don't give suggestions to diet, but focus on giving the desire to eat healthy along with information what healthy eating really means.
I had my hair cut and I look like a picture I have of me in the fourth grade, always hated my hair in that picture, and I'm not liking it any better this time. Thankfully my hair grows fast.
Hope your A/C is fixed Ava!

Good morning!
A nice 50* out this morning. Suppose to reach near 85 and then we are in for a cool down. Only in the low 70s for almost a week! Cold air from Alaska jet streaming down. Such weird weather. It hasn't felt much like summer here at all! My poor roses got drenched when they were first budding/trying to bloom, then they got scorched once they did bloomed, now it's turning dry and cold.
My DD is stopping by around noon for a quick visit. I'd like to have some lunch with her but I don't figure she is going to want to eat as she is on her way to the lake just up the road from me, to meet up with her friend that she is doing a triathilon (sp?) with. They are practicing their swimming part.
Tomorrow I will go to my GDs horse camp for their end-of-the-week show. They get to show off their new riding skills etc. This is the youngest's first time so I'm excited to see her ride. Afterward I am bringing them home with me for a couple days as their parents have work schedule conflicts.
Hope you get your AC figured out, Ava. Not fun. I am kicking around getting central air in my house. I would love having it on those hot days, we just don't get enough hot weather to warrent the expense, but I always wish differently when I can't sleep because I'm sweltering.
Wishing everyone a great day!

After buying a shephards hook so I could hang my bird feeder here - were not seeing birds at it. This morning they are - and eating away. I'll be having to buy more food soon. Mostly sparrows right now, and a few of those birds that walk upside down on trees - can't think of their name. But birds found it- finally! No squirrels have - YET.
I got Jean's computer back last night. Started it at my friends to make sure it was working - it was. Gave it to Jean - it's not. Do you think it doesn't like her anymore? Have emailed to see if this IT tech will take another look to see what might have happened. Was not expensive, but it is if it doesn't work! And I ordered her more memory, too, which hasn't come yet. That wasn't expensive, either - but is useless if the computer doesn't work. Ah, one of those days??? It's way too early for a beer - so maybe I'll just go back to bed.
When I walk outside with my camera - going from the ac to the high heat and humidity, my lens automatically fogs over. I'm sure I didn't do it any good this morning when I wiped it with my dress - but it was all I had and I wanted to take a couple pictures. Finally saw a blue heron sitting on the shore at one of the empty campsites. Have seen the water birds, but flying over us - avoiding all the people, I'm guessing and going where it's less populated. This one was watching someone fishing in the next site - hoping to get any throwbacks.
I've come close to asking to change sites. Leave Jean back here and get closer to the water. But I'll wait through this weekend when it gets crazy down there again (I'm sure) and see how I feel. It's so peaceful back here - and Peaches and I walk down there every morning and evening - and sometimes even during the heat of the day. I can see the water from here - just would like to see more of it. Greedy, greedy, I am.
Nothing much planned for today - maybe scan pictures - maybe read - maybe do nothing. Bought some meat to make my crockpot pepperoncini beef - so will get it going sometime soon - and freeze it in individual servings. Going to get my freezer full again.

Good Morning from hot humid Normal... it is 88 and feels like 101 so guess we are in for an uncomfortable day...
For some unknown reason (maybe my health conditions) I feel so exhausted...
Beth hope you can get Jean's computer up and running at her place... I simply rely on mine way too much... ava kick that air conditioner... maybe that will help... seriously hope you get it going ok... when we lived in FL I never could understand how some of the life long residents did not have air conditioning... when we had a few children over they got freezing cold in our air conditioning
I guess it is all in what you get used to...
I need to go to the post office as a package I mailed a month ago has not arrived... sure glad I insured it...
Have had two cups of coffee... think I need breakfast now...
Have a good day everyone and smile often...
Kathleen

GOOD AFTERNOON TO YOU ALL!
Back home I am!
Hitching and unhooking and dumping was a piece of cake this morning----not a bad stink at all, and I didn't even throw up, or gag! I brought a clean hose in the window by my bed with one of those wands on the end of it, and swished out the black tank through the toilet after I dumped it. Then let the two grey tanks loose, then used the wand to clean out the black sewer hose into the dump site.
I had one helluva morning back here, getting situated again, however, for many reasons. Parking was a piece of cake, as was unhitching.
I didn't want to hook to that electric plug that gave me a shock until I checked its status with my new tester thingy. Sure enough, open ground! SO....decided to re-arrange the back bedroom to get to a different plug, which necesitates my thick RV electrical cord going through the crank-out window, along with an extension cord from another plug, and my satellite cable! First I had to take out HEAVY drawers from a 300 year old desk, move the desk, and a little storage shelf next to it, to expose the plug I want to use. Then check plug----it's GOOD, than heavens. After moving the desk, the blocks I had it propped up on collapsed and I had to run around and find new ones to make the desk work! Then the plug socket is upside down in this house, as most of them are, so had to rig a prop for my surge protector and install a screw in the wall (holding my breath that I didn't screw far enough into an electric wire in the wall!) to hold it in place via its hook thing it has. Then put drawers back into desk, and plug in trailer. Next plug up spaces with cut-up sponges in the window opening!
Got stuff arranged in trailer, and tried to connect to internet.....nothing....no luck out there. Brought laptop in here and tried in here. Nothing. Turned on desktop computer....nothing! Then I noticed we must have had a power outage here as microwave was flashing, and my modem showed no internet light. Unplugged modem/router, waited the required couple of minutes, and restored internet service. Desktop connected to internet, but not laptop, no matter what I tried! Called good old Verizon, and a guy had me plug in the modem cable into this laptop while he 'shared' my screen and made necessary 'adjustments' so I can now get connected to my wireless network again! Poor man...he spoke Swahili, or something equally as unintelligible to me, but had a lot of patience as I went for a plug for the laptop, which was running out of battery juice, a flashlight, a chair, and other stuff so I could sit and talk to him as he walked through the repairs. That took about 3/4 of an hour, or more!
It's warm here, but not stifling. Everything seems to be up and running, including my two TVs in the trailer, the water is hooked back up, this laptop is connected...all's right with the world----for NOW!
I am washing a load of laundry to hang out, having a couple of cold beers, and then going to pick some blueberies if they are ripe enough yet. I already picked about a cup of raspberries, and there will be tons more to ripen.
There is a nice breeze here on my screened porch, and Molly is lounging in it.
So, that's my day, so far! I will now go see how the blueberries are doing after I hang out my laundry! I was sorry I didn't get a post on here early, but I got tired of waiting for the slow connection! Good to see you all are busy doing stuff.
