LAST JUNE 2010 SUNDAY

Hope on June 25th at her feeding tree, playing cautious, which is a good thing. Her custom-made little break-away GPS collar has arrived at the research center, and Sue and Lynn are hoping to get it on her so they can know where she goes and what she does all by herself in the woods of Ely, MN. The blueberries are getting ripe there, as are the Juneberries, so there is plenty of wild food for the little bear cub now. She still needs that bear milk supplement, too, however.
PEEKABOO AND GOOD MORNING!
It's about 56 degrees outside, but the sky is much brighter than it was all day yesterday....it would be great to see some sun, and I need to mow parts of the lawn again. I'm going to try to get my daughter to stay around for one more day to rest before she takes to the road to go to her grandmother's family reunion in West VA. She had about three major events going on in her life yesterday, and has been going nonstop for days now. I would like for her to even fib a bit and tell her grandma that she got sick and can't come at this time. She is planning to drive by herself, and come right back by the 4th, when she has something else scheduled. That's a long trip to squish into so few days. And they recently told her she will probably be staying in a tent while she's down there. Holy cow, the temperatures have been in the triple digits! It's not that I don't have about 10 tents she can choose from, but a tent in that heat would be horrible!
Molly is all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed again this morning, which is good to see. I hate to see my fur babies sick, and it's always worrisome. I know I will never be without a furry body to hold as I enter this new chapter of my life.
I see the sun trying to peek through the morning fog and mist----YAY!
Coffee is hot, so stop in and let us know where you are and what you're doing! Happy last Sunday of June 2010.
