SUMMER SOLSTICE 2010

Hope at the feeding tree yesterday morning, taken by Sue mansfield, biologist and researcher.
GOOD MORNING ALL!
Get out your hankies again to view the beautiful youtube video tribute to Hope with an accompanying song, Who I was Born to Be, by Susan Boyle, designed and put together by a Lily and Hope fan----it's not sad, just beautiful enough to cause tears of joy and appreciation. Sigh----what a wonderful way to begin summer 2010!

It's nearly 60 outside already, but overcast and very humid----a perfect beginning to summer. Molly and I scouted out the best areas for picking blueberries last evening, for later when they get ripe. I hope there will still be some on the bushes when the Ruckus begins! They are ripening early this year, as are all fruits and berries.
I am going into school early again, as some kids will need to hang out in the library to study for this afternoon's exams----those who do not have cars, or are too young to drive, will have to come on this morning's buses and hang out all day. I can pay some online bills and explore the internet while I am there. Some of my kids will be taking an exam this afternoon, and I will be reading it to them.
I hope you all have a wonderful Summer Solstice. It seems as if it was just the Winter Solstice, and now here we are, midway in our yearly trip around the sun once again. Maybe the sun will come out, and I can mow when I get home.
HAPPY SUMMER TO US ALL!!
