Oh Goooood Morning to you! YAWN I'm awake. Actually I woke up one minute before my alarm was set to go off. I've done my morning thing and Shade too. Just took both dogs out, so they're both are good to go and I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee. ahhhhhhhhhhh What a wonderful thing coffee is. Opps? Jenny just came out of the bathroom so she must have had to do that morning thing too. And I think she took Honey back in the bedroom with her?

Today is Thursday and tomorrow we will have our only day off from work. (my sick day doesn't count) We also get paid tomorrow so will have to figure rent and stuff for 2wks out of our checks. I just love getting paid only bi-weekly. Got all the dishes done last eve. This schedule change has really screwed up the house cleaning part around here. By time we get done with the overtime they have required it doesn't leave time in the eves to do much more than cook, eat and pick up after supper. My poor floors have suffered. And for me, my laundry has taken a back seat too. I will have to get around and do one load at a time. Wash it one night and dry it the next night I guess? Will be getting a newspaper tomorrow to see what is in it for jobs tomorrow. And of course will have to check out the job offerings in Sundays paper too.

I'm sitting here all excited about the mini GTG in NJ this weekend. I just know that ya'll are gonna have a good time. Be sure to build up the campfire and take pictures to post for the rest of us. Hmmm? Ya think maybe that campground will let ya have your own beer wall up there???

Ok I'm off to get dressed and ready for work. Haven't heard Kelly's alarm go off yet either?? Guess I had better go knock on her door. sheesh

Good morning Zeee and Echo,... and all the others still just waking up!

I'm trying to get in gear here as I will be hitched and gone by 10 a.m. Headed to the Upper Hudson Bluegrass Festival in North Creek, NY. It's being held at a ski center in the parking lot. got a nice new pavilion there too. And best of all we have all the days showing ...... are you ready for this,........ NO RAIN!!! I have yet this summer to have a camping trip without rain,... hard and steady rain. This will be heaven.

So I'm outahere,... catch you Monday a.m. at the coffee pot,... stay well everyone, and have a great weekend!

Good morning all. Everything is calm here in GA with dd and the gds. And, Fay has stayed in FL for now and will probably be inundating Nan and my home in Ocala later today. I hope to sneak out of here Saturday morning and slip northward in a narrow band of fair weather predicted. The NE has been beautiful the last few days by the looks...you should have some nice weather for the bluegrass festival, Cedar. So I'm chomping at the bit here to get going.

finally made it to pay day, that was one long haul on summer paychecks and was
so broke I had to float a check on sunday to buy food for me and food for the dogs.
Haven't done THAT in years, and it didn't feel good. Cost me 25 for 50 worth of
stuff. Now to pay off the little ones, lets see, 20 to so and so , 2 and 1 to others.
I've actually been awake since 3:00, got up at 3:30, just couldn't sleep with a few
worries with my little Pixie girl. In my world, when it rains it pours. You girls are
truly my sunshine on rainy days.
Enjoy your trips, everybody, sounds like quite a few have things planned this
weekend, and please be safe.
I'll hold down the fort and you all have a great day.

Good morning every one. Thought I'd throw a couple of words in here as we are still home. We are ***** waiting (notice I didn't put any adverbs in front of waiting) for a UPS delivery that was supposed to be here yesterday. Can't leave until it gets here. Grrr!!! Glad we are only going a little over 100 miles from home as we will be getting a later start then we planned.
For two weeks we have had fabulous weather and now it is supposed to rain for the weekend. Scattered showers - hope they are scattered where we aren't. I think I have everything gathered up and in the car ready to go. If not that's what WM is for. Will keep in touch.

Good morning ladies. Well, my days of lazing around are over - back to work. This week I'm working 8-hr days, Thurs, Fri and Sat. Haven't worked an 8-hr day for ten years. I'll just be "observing" which means a boring, long day. My RV guy is coming at 9:30 to give me an estimate on an electric awning. That's what I've been saving the whole summer for. No weather sensor, just a push-button. Seems like as soon as I finish the whole process of putting out the awning, pulling it out, adjusting the arms, raising it, etc. Big winds come up and I have to reverse the whole process. I want to just "push a button".

Anyone heard from Sparkle lately? I know she doesn't have access to wifi but surely she goes into town for food.

Glad to hear OO is fine, just busy but that woman is always a whirlwind.

Morning, All.....was here earlier, but wasn't awake enough to get the fingers and brain to work well enough to type... Yesterday was a busy day.....still doing the eye drops for the FIL so that starts my day....then good friends have borrow the 5er for a weekend camp out before their daughter goes back to school...also it is a trial run to see if the lady of the family likes RV camping.....Ernie mows lawns for Jerry and he wants to get a camper so bad, but his wife isn't sure.....she' not into tenting or rustic-no running water- cabins, but she did come take a tour of the 5er last week and told Jerry that she would camp in it.....hope she enjoys herself......they have a handi-capped child who needs alot of attention for his personal care, so campers would meet his needs and that's where she's coming from........they've invited us for supper tomorrow night.....they are at Round Top Campground in Gettysburg. We set the 5er up for them yesterday there.....for those who maybe interested....Round Top is pretty nice....has pool, playground, resturant, and lot of other stuff....for $41/night.....

Then we went to visit the kids, grandkids, and all the fur-babies there.....(see my post about Ceasar in the pets section, please.)....had lunch with them and a good visit.....going to miss them all terribly when we leave....

And to top off the day.....FIL took us to the county fair for a fair food supper and to see the exhibits.....watched horse pulling and the judging of the open class on Beef Cattle.....
Then back to the homebase to watch the Olympics.....so I slept good....

Okay, more coffee....then got to get my butt in gear......Have a great day all!!

Morning all, this is my second post and I have no idea where the first one went!

Wow, Thursday all ready, my week is flying by in preparation of return trip to CA on Sunday. I am so sad to leave my daughter and granddaughter. It doesn't get any easier; this time I will say good-bye the night before and just take off early on Sunday. It's better for everybody that way.

I have to buy a new cell phone today. Dropped my iPhone on the sidewalk yesterday and broke the glass. GRRRRR. That was really dumb.

But I also have EXCITING news, I finally found a good solution for carrying my kayak on top of my car. The guy at Backwoods
(outdoor store) was SOOOOOOO helpful, to the point of INSTALLING it on my car!!!! Can you believe it !?!?! It has a padded roller bar on the back which extends; requiring me to only lift half the weight, the roll it on top of the car. I can't wait to get home to CA to try it out!

Wow, I can't believe how much I miss when I don't read this forum for 2 days! It sounds like everyone is feeling better and looking forward to the weekend plans. Echo, I'm hoping your weekends become more normal for you with the next job.

We have been having great times with Tommy's family here in NJ. We went with his DD, SIL and 13 month old GS to Point Pleasant boardwalk on Tuesday and did the kiddie amusement park and aquarium. It was a nice day and I was real impressed with the Jersey shore. What a winning personality that baby has...smiling all the time and loud belly laughs!!

Yesterday we met up with Tommy's friend and his wife for a trip to Atlantic city. There was an airshow over the boardwalk and lots of people there even though it was mid week. We laughed all day! We gambled a litttle and walked ALOT. The other couple wanted to stay longer, but we had furbabies waiting for us at home and had to cut the evening short. There is so much to do there, we really needed more than one day. I look forward to returning to the area and visiting with Doug and Betty some more. It felt like we'd been friends forever.

Today is Tommy's day with his DS and other GS. They are late risers so I don't know what time he'll be taking off, but I have lots to do around this camper today.There is lots of sand and dead leaves on our site, and the cocker 'sweeps' it often and carries it in on her droopy ears. Ya gotta love her.

Nope, no beer on the wall in this campground. There is a 'no alcohol' rule here...family cg don't you know. Bring a big cup Barbzeee. We can ask all 4 guys to fill it for us.

I've been reading the forum. It's my day off, but I need to go work for an hour or two. We quit early on Tuesday cuz the rains came in and some of the guys working outside decided to come in and wax the rec hall floor (which we were cleaning). Well, being smart ladies, we knew that we'd be re-cleaning some of the tables and chairs when they were done, so we decided to do those today. I'm sure the other lady is already over there working - so I best head over there soon and get it over with. Then, I intend to be a bum the rest of the day - maybe laze around the pool for a bit

OMG, Thursday already? This is normally my Friday, but having a baseball player's work schedule ... all this rain has sidelined me a couple of days this week. It's raining lightly this morning and the boss told me to come in at 10 a.m. rather than 8:30. Gonna be a REALLY short paycheck this week. Good thing I don't need it to eat.

The good news? I had time to brew a pot of coffee and sit down with you wonderful women.
