FRIDAY---YAHOO!!

GOOD MORNING ALL!
It's about 47 degrees here this morning, grey, damp and dank, but not raining as yet! Although my plan was to say inside here last night, I moved to the trailer after I had a hot bath to get myself warm, and it was a perfect night out there. When I took Molly out for one last walk, the sounds of the birds going to sleep and the smell of that fresh air won me over, and I was no longer cold! I even opened up the window next to my bed----right at eye level it is----out there. Molly and I watched for that huge coyote to return, but my eyes got too heavy to keep up the watch.
Today my class will go to the big shopping mall in Plattsburgh, a city about 50 miles from the school. They will be given their earned money in envelopes with their name on them, like getting a cashed paycheck. They are told to save at least ten dollars for lunch, no matter what they do with the rest of the money. No money for lunch means they will go hungry. Part of the learning experience! I need to find a decent backpack to put my 'treasures' in as I am walking. One of the other women will take the girly-girls to the girly-girly fashion stores, and I will take my group to Gander Mountain, Dick's, Best Buy, and places like that. I am going to try to avoid K-Mart, if we get near that store, as they have a new tent that is screaming out my name! (For those who don't know, I have a tent addiction which I am going to rehab for!) We will also spend about an hour in WalMart, and maybe I can find me some clothes to pack in the trailer for my retirement garb!
Wiley brought me a set of back-out screw thingies for my wireless drill yesterday, and I plan to try to get those few remaining stubborn screws out of my dinette bench I want to remove. That will be a weekend chore. I'll store that in the cellar until I am ready to trade this trailer for another some day, along with the table top. One bench will stay in there, as the furnace is housed underneath that one. I am hoping it will make a lot of room to have that bench out of there, and nobody has EVER used it! We always eat outside, or set up little fold-away tables and sit on the sofa in the rainy weather. And I don't need the extra sleeping space the dinette affords.
Maybe I can find a neat little table/desk today, to use for a computer in that space.
Coffee is hot, so stop by and tell us about your day.
P.S.---latest on Hope from the NABC:
"Hope continues to eat what we put out for her, but spends most of her time foraging and exploring elsewhere."
