HOPEFUL WEDNESDAY

GOOD MORNING TO US ALL!

After hearing that a neighbor of the Lily and Hope red pine tree reported that he saw a little cub in his yard yesterday, I got a new glimmer of hope for Hope! I actually slept a bit last night. This saga has turned into quite a news story in the Ely, MN area, and now world-wide. Search people have donated infra-red search goggles for the biologists to use at night to try to locate the little cub so they can leave some food and milk for her so she can stay alive until her mother returns to the area again. Fox news had a story on her. I feel as if I am going through an emotional wringer, and I am so hoping for a huge celebration at the end. Sue and Lynn, the main biologists involved in this bear study, must be totally exhausted.

Anyway, it's about 50 degrees this morning, with a prediction of its getting into the 90s today! BRING IT ON!!!! I actually took off my light jacket at school yesterday! After a sunset walk last night, the trailer felt a bit hot until I turned on my ceiling fan and sucked in the cooler air. By the time I lay down on my bed, I needed my sleeping bag to cover me up! I am running late now, after reading all the bear study updates, so I need to get dressed and move out. I hope you all have a good day, wherever you may be.

Will get a propane tank filled after school for my weekend campout, make sure I have enough food, and get ready to head out tomorrow after school!

Happy Wednesday!

good morning ladies
today is our last day of school, early release so I'll be done around 1:00. Will clean my
bus after the morning run, then do the last sweep after the afternoon, turn in my keys
and time sheet and say good bye. Some of us will return on tuesday to begin the summer
session. Got my assignment yesterday. They usually assign us a bus to use for the summer
and I am hoping they will let me use my own since the ac got fixed and it blows ice cold.
However, it won't be my bus for long since I've decided to bid on a special ed route next
year, that means I'll drive a little mini-bus. I've done 21 years in a big bus and I'm ready
for a change.
Temps have been nice this week, we only had that one day where it broke 100, hopefully
with all the weird weather the whole nation has been having we will have weird weather
of UNDER 100 for the summer. I can only hope :D
Coffee is good, but its time to get ready for work. Have a great day everyone.

Last day of school. I remember those days well.

Back from the coast, I'm between trips, gearing up for my June trip from Oregon to Florida by way of Anacortes, WA (north of Seattle). Go figure. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that gas is going to get cheaper this summer.

On another note, just read this....http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/05/25/airfare.surcharges/index.html

They just keep on reminding me why I love my rig (and nobody requires xray body searches either!).

Hope everyone is well.
