COOLER, CLEAR TUESDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!
What fun reading everyone's posts from yesterday! Many seem to make it to the coffee table, and it makes me feel 'connected' and gives me confidence as I anticipate my upcoming retirement. After 48 years of teaching, it's scary to think of its being over.
It's a cooler morning, about 45 degrees, but the sky is bright and crispy clear with the remnants of a bright moon. Molly and I had a nice sleep in the trailer, listening to the peepers all the way down at the pond whose symphonic voices made it all the way up here and came through our open windows by my bed. That sound has always been so comforting to me each spring of my life.
My boy who was arrested on Friday is suspended for 5 days, and nobody seems to know what will be the next step to help him control his anger from here. The legally blind boy whom he assaulted, and who has been his nemesis for years at Middle School, is none the worse for wear. Most believe he is totally innocent in this incident, but I believe otherwise. He is a sneaky little creep who loves to torment the assaulter with snide remarks and hurtful comments. Of course, no amount of such triggers warrant the violent behavior which erupted. Witness the arrest of a guy who decided that a car bomb would be acceptible in Times Square to alleviate his anger at whatever.
My obese girl came back, was having panic attacks all morning as she adjusted to being back where she is being held accountable for herself rather than having her mother baby her 24 hours a day. She got over it and put in a fairly good day after I told her, pretty much, to buck up and put on her big girl panties! That made her laugh and think about what she was doing to herself!
So on we go toward the final days, and the beginning of a new career for me----living as a camper with NO SCHEDULE!
Coffee is hot now and ready to be shared. I will look forward to hearing from you all when I get home from school this afternoon. Happy Tuesday!
