HERE COMES THE SNOW!

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!
It is dawning cold (33 degrees F.) and snowy already this morning! There's just a dusting on the ground, so far, but it is snow and not rain. Interesting end of April weather! It was still warm in the trailer, but Molly says this Monitor stove heater in here feels ever so much warmer!
RV dealers are working with the Duro tire company about the deplorable condition of my brand "new" tires they installed in November, so I am hoping I can get those installed before my first camping weekend at the KOA on Memorial Day.
My son and his wife-to-be put an offer on the property they want to buy in FL-----they called me from the place last night via cell phone, while walking around the beautiful property, watching the sunset in the pond! Now it's just a matter of playing a waiting game (and a very short waiting game if they are to qualify for the $8,000 incentive for new home buyers) ) to see if the owners are willing to accept the offer. Like playing chess with LOOOOOONG waits between moves!
I will compose my retirement letter to the school today, and then call NY State to alert them to the fact that I will need to begin to receive retirement checks after July 1st. I am actually doing it! I am RETIRING!!! I can't believe it!
I left my lawnmower with the shop class yesterday, and they will fix it up for me. I dropped the blade off in town, after they removed it, to be sharpened, too. Hopefully, I will get many more good mowing summers with that mower which has always been a good one. (By the way, for those of you who worried about my lifting the mower, I ramped it into my truck on a couple of 2 X 4s!)
I also took another look under the hood of the Kicker when Molly and I walked past it on our afternoon walkabout, and I can easily see the new starter they installed last year. It will be easy for me to rap on it to see if it's the solenoid that needs some 'coaxing' to turn over the starter motor, or not. But I will have to hike that jumper device (heavy) back down there before I try that.
Coffee is hot, so c'mon in and tell us about your day. My truck will have its first drive in snowy road conditions!
