FRIDAY---YAY!!!

GOOD MORNING ALL!
A bit below freezing, which means my driveway will be frozen for my walk out, and, as I don't have to be at school until an hour later this morning for the Supt.'s day, it will also be daylight!!!!----YIPPEE! Isn't it amazing what little things can make me so happy!
Half the day will be spent in the large group instruction room, and the afternoon might mean I can escape and come home early, as, with no kids at school, I have no need to be there and do anything whatsoever. The other two teachers in my room will be off to Malone for another type of meeting, so it looks as if I'll be on my own. I will be only too happy to come home early.
Maybe I can take some pictures of my still deep snow and mud this afternoon, as well as our new sign coming into Vermontville which says "Home of Billy Demong, gold and silver medal winner in the 2010 Winter Olympics" or something like that!
For anyone who hasn't visited the live bear den camera site lately, the mom, Lily, is now leaving her little cub, Hope, alone for more than a half hour at a time while she is outside doing whatever mama bears do. Hope is trying to learn how to walk in the den, and keep her balance! It is great fun to watch, and you get great views of the little furball without her being buried under mama's fur. I have learned a great deal about our black bears from this wonderful site and the many daily entries written by the people involved in the study. Soon I will try to get my game camera to function again, and set the sensitivity down to a level where I will capture only animals and NOT waving grasses or tree branches throughout the days and nights! Perhpas I can find out what critters I have passing by on my animal trails this year.
Coffee is hot and tastes good, and I will be looking forward to seeing what you all have planned for the day. I have plenty of time this morning to read my email and my other forum posts before I have to head off this morning. Happy Friday to us all!
