Super Saturday

Hangin' out in Pueblo, Colorado. Knocked off a few hours on my trip. Trying to find the campsite in the dark and an unfamiliar area was fun. I think that added a half hour to my trip. Didn't sleep well, but the excitement of Raton Pass should clear my head.

Only coffee and yogurt this morning. (A brief scary moment when I couldn't find the coffee). If anyone wants eggs you need to cook them yourself. I'm busy gearing up for the next leg. Or Bobby could make you one of his special sandwiches. Peanut butter on a bagel with cake sprinkles.

Hey Bobby,... make me one of those sandwiches,.... just use lots of chocolate sprinkles,ok? :D Good morning everyone,.... overcast here in the north country. Guess it will be rainy tomorrow. Should green up the grass now that most of the snow is gone from lawns. I'll be having lunch with a former co-worker, then home for rest of weekend.

I hope everyone is having a good day,...... safe traveling to those on the road!

Good morning
its gonna be a super saturday for sure, suppose to be up in the 70's today, will
get out there and do some work in the yard and for inside, just general tidying
up and dusting.
Thanks for the coffee Amy, and I'll have a bagel, but I'm spreading strawberry
cream cheese on it :D yum
Off to cruise new posts now. Have a great day and be safe.

Morning!
Glad you checked in, Amy. Just coffee for me right now. I haven't thought ahead as to what to eat later. Probably my oatmeal w/banana. Anyway, glad you survived the first leg! Safe travels to you and Bobby.
I took my new bp med last night before bedtime and don't feel any side effects this morning. Hope this will be the norm. So far so good.
Rain is forecasted for here. So what else is new? Every year the trees blossom out and then the rain knocks them off. So sad, and the blossoms don't stay long anyway.
My 10 yr old GD had her first birthday slumber party last night. I think she invited 6 girls. The plan was to go swimming, eat pizza, open her gifts then eat cake and watch a movie. This morning my DD is making them waffles. What fun to be young again and have slumber parties!
Not sure what I'll do today. I have been wanting to go see a movie but still haven't done it. I'll have to check as to what's playing.
Have a great day, ladies!
PS CLOCKS AHEAD TONIGHT!! Well, for most of us, anyway.

I know it's not morning anymore but thought I would check in anyway.

Today was moving day for us. We moved from Beachwood to Birch Bay NACO/TT. For those that don't know we move every three weeks between the two campgrounds when we are not traveling. Have to do that due to contracts with both places. Any way, we got the rig ready to go and got moved. Got to see our son, his girlfriend and our granddaughter ~ didn't get to play with her as she was sleeping in the car seat. But it was still good to see her. We are all set up now. I did have one mishap - knocked over my prayer plant this morning. Had dirt on the couch, chair and floor. What a mess!

Tonight we are going out to dinner with some friends. We are going to the Nut House Grill - their claim to fame is that you get all the peanuts you want and then you throw the shells on the floor - crazy I know.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read that, too. Instead of bringing your sleeping bags, you bring your RV's to sleep in. The food, fun, story telling and staying up late (well, maybe not quite as late at the little ones do) are all the same. (Do you braid each other's hair and talk about boys too?)

I've been to several places like that. We call them peanut bars up here. They are fun! Went to one down in Florida last year, too. Not a good place to go if you are allergic to peanuts tho! You'd probably die just walking in the door!

Ali...I would say it's a good day if all that went wrong was a plant dumped! I usually say "it could always be worse!" As for the peanuts on the floor...My daughter is allergic to them and can't go to those places. A mature friend of my mom's slipped on the shells in a restaurant and really hurt herself. It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt...lol! Was the place in FL called Cody's? I've eaten there several times. I love the rolls there 8-)

I can't remember the name of the restaurant, but it wasn't too far from Crystal River and I remember there was a fire hydrant fountain out in front of it, that at first I thought was a real fire hydrant that had a bad leak.  They had great strawberry margueritas!

"It's all fun and games until someone trips on a peanut!"

We had been kayaking on the river all day in the sun, so I will blame it on sunburn or heatstroke   Ironically, it wasn't until after the marguerita that I realized it was actually a water fountain. Maybe I need to drink more often!!

Oh, I get the feeling I had NOTHING to do with her Dufus-ness...that's something for which she can give herself 100% credit.

Oh come on Mitch! Your dufusness is rubbing off on me!
Well, actually, I didn't know you a year ago, so technically I can't blame the firehydrant thing on you, but I am sure your bad influence has affected me somehow since I have been on here. (I think I am meaner than I was before!)
