SUNNY SUNDAY!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNNY SUNDAY!

GOOD MORNING TO US ALL!!

Today looks like a repeat of our wonderful day yesterday, only warmer, so far, at 21 degrees already at 7:30 am. The sun's rays are beginning to get above the tree tops.

I had a great dinner at my friend's down the road who came home from FL and her RV due to the cold, wet weather they had all winter down there. She was born in a farm house on the property where she now lives in a new house she built, and has lived here all her life. My kids think of her as a grandmother, as she was always around when they were growing up, and I have so missed her in the recent years that she took to the road with her 'boyfriend.' Her two sons were there, and one of her granddaughters who is going to college in Burlington, across the lake. It was a fun night, reminiscing and seeing people I haven't seen in years now.

Today's chore will be laundry, and the rest of the time is mine to spend in total abandon! I wish I could move into my trailer, but....as you can see from the amount of snow we still have here, that isn't about to happen for a looong time yet! We will take to the ski trails again today, for sure, and perhaps sit on my deck in the sun and listen to music! Some migrating birds are stopping by my feeder, and they are providing me with some sweet birdsongs on their way.....a welcome sound after the long, silent winter.

I hope you all will find something fun and active to do today so you can get outside and, for us easterners, clear out our lungs from many hours spent inside all winter!

Coffee is hot, so stop in for a cup and leave us a message to keep us up to date on other areas of the country! Happy sunday!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good Morning to All - We are still in Guadalajara - finally, maybe, getting used to the altitude. We'll leave here Tuesday for Guanajuato - we spent some time there last year and loved it. But will be without Internet there.
Weather is nice and we are spending a lot of time just walking around taking in the sights.
Safe travels and good weather to everyone.

Morning, quickly checking in. SIL had to go into work last night so he dropped of my 2 GDs on his way in. We've had a great time. They are up and playing on the Wii already.
So far I'm still enjoying my new computer. Windows 7 isn't too far off from my XP. Just more or less trying to find where everything is now hidden. One down side is that my printer won't work with this newer computer. It says my older drivers aren't compatable. I've downloaded older drivers from Lexmark and did scans up the wazoo but to now avail. Really ticks me off as my printer/scanner/fax machine has worked wonderfully and I just spent $75 on new ink cartridges for it a couple weeks ago. Technology really has us over a barrel, huh?
Our weather was wonderful yesterday. Kids out playing and trees are all in blossom. One high school boy was out taking pictures for his photography class. He got some good ones of Choco, my dog. I got to chat with many neighbors as it seemed everyone was outside mowing or washing their cars. Great neighborhood I live in!
I'm feeling better. I did a no no and stopped taking my BP meds these past couple days. Amazing how much better I feel, although I know I still need to be on them and will discuss that with my cardiologist next week. I do monitor my BP several times a day and all is well there. Yesterday after my walk I mowed the yard and edged and felt fine.
Ok, SIL will be here soon for the girls. I think they are coming again tonight. Oh, and I have a 10 AM appt with a tax preparer as the gal in their office that did my taxes last week screwed up royally. She said I was to get an $8200 refund!!! :o I tried telling her she messed up somewhere, but she insisted. After a couple days of thinking it over I called and asked to talk to her supervisor and she reviewed it and agreed that the gal messed up, so this morning I'm going in to re-do everything! Grrrr! Better to catch it now than have to repay the $$ plus penalties and interest!
Well, this turned into a novel! lol Have a wonderful day everyone!

It's a foggy Sunday here. Jess and I took our usual weekend walk. Now it's coffee time.

There's no exercise like spring cleaning and I've been all over that the past two weekends. Part of the motivation comes from knowing a friend will be house-sitting next week and I'd rather she not see the giant piles of stuff.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy (mostly...a doughnut here or there couldn't hurt) Sunday.

Morning..it's already 34 and we're looking forward to some serious snow melt again today...unfortunately for many areas in the state that means some major flooding. The forecast for the week is rain and snow...and I have to go to another conference and man a exhibit booth for prison industries...sure hope I don't end up driving on icy roads.

Lenora, I know Lexmark printers are less expensive to buy than many other brands but they sure do stick it to you when you need cartridges..HP kind of does that too! Have you ever tried any of the generic or remanufactured cartridges. I've always used them on my Epsons and have never had a bit of trouble. My old printer was working great after using it for six years with generics..but had to upgrade when I bought the new computer because it wasn't compatible...actually the tech said something about it being a dinosaur!

Not sure what I'm going to accomplish today...pretty sure it won't be much!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Good Morning All

Our forecast is for a near perfect early spring like day. However there are enough clouds that I doubt it is going to get as warn as predicted (mid 60s). I so need spring to get here. Think I've had the worse case of winter blahs ever - at least the longest they have ever lasted. Just have not had any interest in doing anything and boy does it show. Not sleeping well has not helped the situation. I am going to get out for a bit this afternoon to see if that helps.

Unfortunately, I've put off a few things that are now nearing critical to be done. Have picked just two to do today. A sense of accomplishment may also hep lift my spirits.

I've been dog sitting for a friend for about a week now. That was good because it gave Nicky some exercise he would not have had otherwise and they have had a ball. However, they were playing outside late yesterday and Nicky severely injured his foot so now I'm trying to keep them separated to let him rest. Cannot figure out how it happened but he caught his foot in something and ripped off a toenail. Bleed for the longest and he is limping pitifully. I have some pain meds that I gave him at bed time and again this morning. Do not know of anything else to do for him.

Time for some lunch and off to see what is going on in the outside world.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

not exactly morning anymore, its half past noon, but hey to ya anyway. :D
Its wet and rainy, and a tad cold but I'll just deal with it for today. Gracie's
ear is doing better, but still doing the meds of course, all the way up to
Thursday. Was over to my daughters this morning to feed the cat and she
didn't even want out this time, guess she decided she didn't like the rain.

I'm coffee'd out but will do some reading on new posts and then its back to
my crochet. Enjoy your weather, have a great day and be safe.
