GOOD MORNING ALL!

As you can tell, I am taking the day off today. I had a doc's appointment (follow up) scheduleD for Monday, but got a message that he will be out of town and that I should reschedule. Sooooo.......I decided to take today and tomorrow off to take care of medical 'stuff.' I have a ton of sick days I will probably never see any compensation for, so I will begin to use them. After the stressful day at school yesterday, with my comatose girl, I NEED a psych day, anyway! (Plus I stayed up nearly all night watching Olympics events!)

The temperature is very moderate today at 25 degrees, and I am thinking it will be a great day to ski and get out in the woods to clear out my lungs and my brain. Molly will appreciate it, too!

Hope you all are doing ok and having some fun wherever you are. Coffee is fresh and hot, and I am going to prop myself up in bed and watch the snow coming down and the daylight getting brighter! Stop by and tell us about your day!

Morning from sunny SW Washington state! Woohoo! I finally got my car washed yesterday and I think it may stay clean for at least 4 more days. :D
Today I'm going to attempt to get on the roof of my house :o to clean the roof and apply some moss killer. Our winter has been so mild that the moss is loving it up there! A few weeks ago someone left a flyer on my front door that said they were licensed and bonded roof/gutter/driveway/patio cleaners so I tried calling them but I get a "not enough digits" when I dial it (which I find strange as I'm dialing the exact amount of #s). I'm figuring that if they took the time to hand out all these flyers but can't get their own phone # correct, do I want them working for me? So I'm going to do it myself. Wish me luck!
I stayed up late watching the olympics. Had to watch the men's speed skating and halfpipe. Tonight, figure skating!
Wishing everyone a happy, safe day!

Good morning Ladies!

I got up early this morning to go work at the church. Ran out of time yesterday and I forgot that I still needed to work at the church. Well I was there and back in an hour.

Now I am checking emails and forums before heading out for coffee with a friend. This afternoon I will tackle the closet, putting some stuff in storage and getting rid of some things. I also need to clean out the cupboard above our bed. Things needing to be done but have not been motivated to get them done now I am motivated with the upcoming jobs that we will be starting soon.

The weather here is beautiful...lots of sun but still chilly. The sun is supposed to be out for the next few days! yeah!!

Don't know much else so will get back to the tasks at hand. Wishing everyone a good day.

Soos! That's sweater weather! Maybe spring is around the corner.

Sunshine here ... and life goes on. Bandit update: I tried cutting back on the painkillers -- he's doing better and not sedated. Running and barking. He's revived! Today. Have to celebrate the good ones. ;)

YAY for Bandit! And YES-----we do have to celebrate the good times, in all aspects of life. After all, today is all we really have. Tomorrow is but a dream, and yesterday is gone. Let's hear it for TODAY!!!

P.S.---not quite sweater weather here for me here yet! Temp has dropped to about 20 degrees throughout the day, and the wind has been howling again. Molly and I played in the backyard, and that was about all the fun either of us could stand!

I have decided to go back to school tomorrow----I got rested today and will need more days off in the future! I've been watching the airplane-building crash in Austin all day, as the events unfold. Once again, I am questioning how many 'flags' we need from desperate people before we can do something to intervene and help. I think about that daily with the kids in my class at school. I will no longer keep my mouth shut when I suspect that a person is in deep emotional/psychological trouble. (Did I ever? I don't think so, but just in case I did, I am making a better effort to not turn my head.)

Back to reading some messages.
