GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!!

This has been an awesome visit. There's 3 of us so I guess it qualifies as a GTG right???? Gonna be heading out today on our trip to Yuma. Ronnie has a doctors appt this morning and Vickie will be going with him. But it is time for us to go. Will kinda hate leaving as it has been such a pleasure to meet Vickie and Ronnie!! They are a great couple and the kind that you describe as "good people". We will miss them.

No breakfast here today cause of lack of time and needing to get around for the doctors appt. But have lots of coffee and Vickie says there is lots cereal and milk and of course toast! Kelly and I need to group up our stuff that we have dragged out. Have to stop and get some ice for our one cooler as I have put the 12v cooler in the trailer so can't plug it in.

This is a short morning coffee post but again time comes into play! Hope everyone has a super great day and remember to please stay safe!

Love to all

Morning!
It's 9:05 here in the drippy, dreary PNW! I was suppose to attend the monthly Coffee Club at my finance guy's office this morning. It starts at 8! No way was I going to make that as I awoke at 7:55! Maybe next month. No biggy as he just reiterates what we all know about the economy anyway. But it is nice to socialize with the others that come each month.
Yesterday I took Choco' for his nail trim. Every Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday and all trims are free. He does really well if I hold him during the trim and Kathy and Matt are such dog lovers that he has a good time. In fact, Matt has a 14 mo old wired haired terrier that he let Choco' play with and they had a ball! Choco was wound up the rest of the day after that! He's such a social dog.
No plans for today except brush the dog and later set out my garbage and recyclables on the curb for AM pickup. If we get a break in the rain I might try taking Choco' for his walk. He sure misses that time when we are housebound.
Echo/Wicked, glad you enjoyed your GTG with Vickie and Ronnie. I heard they are good people, too! :D Praying traveling mercies for you as you scoot on down the road!
Have a great day, ladies!

Good afternoon ladies. It's warming up here as well. Will be about 50 today and over the weekend we should see about 60. That's my kind of winter weather.

I have also been clipping the dogs nails. I finished the little ones, they only require a kiss after the clip, so I oblige with a kiss after each paw. I can afford it. :D The 2nd in command will barely tolerate me clipping his nails. He makes a lot of noise and often shows teeth, but will not bite. He too gets kisses and responds with more noise and leaves to be seen at a much later time. The two remaining females have yet to be done. This is the real chore, one actually screams (if dogs can do that) and the other just won't have anything to do with nail trimming. The later gets her nails done when asleep. She sleeps so soundly now, that I can get a paw done before she wakes up.

Echo, glad you and Kelly have had a chance to meet Vickie and Ronnie . I too believe they are good people. Have a safe trip to Yuma. What are your plans when you get there, besides thawing out.

Going to read what everyone else is up to. Linda

Finally in Texas and it is about 53 here but raining lightly. Supposed to be nice this weekend though as i hope to explore Waco and Austin. Anybody have any can't miss items for either of these cities? In Waco I plan to see the Dr. Pepper Museum tomorrow when I get there, before I even go to the cg I picked. I'm renting a car for the weekend for $40 so on Saturday i will go to the Texas Ranger museum and maybe some other downtown sights, then find a WalMart to re-stock and get a rug for my tootsies in the bedroom. Took up the carpet and put in vinyl, which I love, but it's a little chilly on the feet. Sunday I will find a church to attend, then head to Austin. Sharon (Sprinter) will meet me there and we plan to eat BBQ and take a walking tour of the downtown area. Any other suggestions?

Got to about 30 degrees today and expected to be around 35 each day for the next 4 or 5 days, so it will be very sloppy on the roads! You already can't tell my car is red, so now it will really be a mess. Will have to wait til it cools down below freezing again before I get it washed. No sense doing it now when it will be a mess again a mile down the road!

Got offered a part-time stylist postion at a different Great Clips nearby, but I would have to work every Saturday and Sunday all day, plus a couple of evenings a week. Not sure if I want to work so many hours especially on the weekends, when I am working Mon-Fri at my office job right now. I don't want to get burned out, but then again, I really need the money right now. I would be busy there and get a lot more money than at the salon I am currently at now. Have to think about it...

Can't wait until tomorrow to see if I can get my new kitty (if she isn't pregnant)! If/when I do, I will post photos right away. I am not expecting any problems between her and my critters. The ferrets love cats and my cat was OK with the foster cat I had last fall (the foster cat wasn't OK with her tho). This kitty is currently living with 4 other cats and 4 dogs and doing fine with them, so should be OK with my little group.

If I get off work early tomorrow, I may go up to that RV show. They mostly have TT's rather than RV's but would be interesting to look at anyways.

Barbie
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

That is allot of hours a week to work! Guess you have to weigh the hours against needing the funds, though. Best of luck in choosing what willl work for you.
I'm excited to see your new kitty. Hope all turns out well at the vets. Have you any idea how old she is?
Yes, go to the RV show if possible. It's always great fun and a great get=away, too. I like to sit inside of those new rigs and let my mind wander at all the possibilities! Have fun!
I know how it is with a dirty wintertime car! In Alaska we generally didn't wash our vehicles until late spring! Anytime before that was futile! OF course they sanded the roads, no salt, or washing more often would have been needed.
