Sunday and the coffee is hot!

Wow, I'm opening up the kitchen? Ok, then! Like I said coffee is hot. I made fudge and brownies yesterday so there's that if you have a raging sweet tooth. :D I'll have oatmeal w/banana, I think.
Hope all that are amidst the snow storms are safe and warm. Please check in!
Have a blessed Sunday, ladies!

Good Morning ladies
Thanks for the coffee, oatmeal with banana sounds good as well. Getting started
on my laundry already as I have several heavier things that will take longer to
hang dry. I continue emptying boxes and finally getting things put away in appropriate
places. Its like a treasure hunt, found my old digital camera, I thought it was broke
actually fried in a power outage way back when it was hooked up to the computer
during a storm and the computer crashed etc. Turns out the camera is fine, put new
batteries in it, turned it on and it works! Downloaded the program onto my computer
and emptied the memory card of some old pictures. Another box contained many of
my old photos, and all these past years I had feared that box was lost, that it accidently
went to goodwill with other stuff. I was thrilled to find my old family photos, including
my very favorite one of Bandit and some of my other dogs over the years. It truely
was a treasure trove! Now to see if my scanner still works and can get those old pictures
on the computer.
Built a shelf in my closet above the clothing rod yesterday, will post pictures of that
in another thread.
Temperatures are comfortable this morning but I can't help but think about the poor
people stuck in snow storms in the east. Hope none of our sistahs are stuck and
without power.
Enjoy your day and God Bless you all, be safe as you venture out on your many
journeys.

Just trying to stay warm and dry here in SW Ohio...what snow there was yesterday melted by afternoon and the fur paws where bringing in MUD multiplied by four...Herschel claims that his paws are not muddy and I have to say he is usually right.... Waiting for awhile to make a trip down to Loveland and visit Herschel's friends and later the Goodwill for 50% off for Seniors day....you never know what treasures may come in on a truck if you don't walk through the store. I found two wonderful sweaters last week, very good for layering. Am really trying to control my eating and have set a weight loss goal for myself ....again...how many times in my life have i done this...oh, well... I looked into Curves and it sounds like a good idea but I will wait until after the Florida trip so that I will be here for several months to actually take advantage of it. I want to be able to walk the dogs and enjoy all the places I want to explore......without being left behind sitting on a bench. Well...there is also the DD's wedding in the end of April. She has already told me that she will help her fashion challenged mother pick out something to wear. She is having an outside wedding on her soon to be in law's property (she liked the $0 rent agreement after looking into city parks) ..... Some outfits just look so much nicer in a size 12 than a size 18  ...not that she would ever say.......but I would :) at least on me. Hope all of you in the blizzard belt are safe and warm..... Shirlv and Peggy in Conn. be sure to check in...I saw that weather map last night and thought of you guys.....
