ITS SUNDAY!

Good morning
getting quite busy these days, got my space reserved and planning the move for
next weekend. The new park managers are a nice couple, and he said he'd come
get my shed for me with his utility trailer, how nice is that?!! Got all the shovels,
rakes, and other long stuff stowed up underneath the short long storage at the
rear. Will pack up the front one today and then the full length under one. Dug
out my registration and put it in my wallet just in case its needed, wouldn't want
to have to try and access my file drawer later on cause its not accessible when
the slide is pulled in. Still have storage space under the bed so my yarn and fabric
collection will go there.
Went and spoke with my neighbors, said good bye and she said no, were not saying
good bye, we will see you again. She wishes she had a home on wheels instead of
the park model. I do feel I will see them again.
Making a list of things I need to do, call the phone company, call the electric company.
Hmm, seems like there should be more than two things on that list.
Coffee is finished dripping, and there are bananas on the counter. Will check back
in later.
Have a great day and be safe, hope all have good weather today.

Good Morning Ava, Mitch and all....

Glad you are getting things done for the move, Ava,... sounds like your new place will be a nice spot for you. Mitch,... you are our "Google Girl"... there isn't anything that you aren't a resource for! Thank you!

A day at home today,.... but not a day of rest. A lot to do to catch up after such a busy fall. Have a great day everyone!

Both good news and sad news here today.

Sad news is this is the first time this house has ever been cat-less in all the years I have lived here, since August of 1977. It is glaringly loud that a presence is missing, and I keep catching glimpses of cat movements that are no longer there. But I am no longer plagued by wondering if my friend is suffering.

The good news is-----my son and his girlfriend called last night to say they have gotten plane tickets to come home for the Christmas./New Year holidays. I really needed that news yesterday, and now I have something to look forward to. And I really need that, too.

It is snowing lightly, and about 20 degrees here. I have a wood fire going, and plan to make turkey soup and do a laundry today. I also hope to keep my eyes drier than they were yesterday so I can see my way around here.

Sending Kath, who is on the road at last, good wishes for a fun trip to her southern home for the winter! And to anyone else out there in the cold and nasty weather.

Thanks to all of you for the kind thoughts regarding the loss of my long-time friend, Twitch. He lived here from 1987 through Dec. 2009. It will take a while for my brain to get used to that loss. But, as life experience teaches, it WILL get used to it after some time, and I will then remember only the good times. Until then, it will hurt.

Love from me and Molly----will have to edit my signature and put Twitch in a folder, but can't do it just yet.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Brrrrrr! Weather page says it's only 21f out there and I believe it! Got up at 8am, did my my morning thing, turned the coffee pot on and out the door I went with the dogs. Didn't take long at all for my piggies to get cold out there in my little thin slippers. Brrrrrr!!! Sun is shining and it's suppose to get up to 46f, ohhhh heat wave! ;)

Ava your tv cable and insurance companies for address changes on vehicle and 5'er are a couple of things. You are gonna be a busy woman! But it will be a good busy. Sounds like you might have picked a really good place to move to. YAY!!! Don't know how far your moving the 5'er or how long it's been sitting in the same spot??? But it might be a good idea to check your tires out and of course if you have a spare check that too. Goodness you have my head spinning.

David is up, he raided my coffee pot and went out the door. He's up at the barn using his new toy re-grooving some tires for his truck. The barn belongs to Jenny's step grandfather and David have set up a hidey hole/man nest for himself in it. Has a bench seat from a van in there, lights, a stereo, 4x4, off road and motorcycle magazines and tools. He's all set. Well he might want to get some blankets or his sleeping bag for just in case. Would be better than the proverbial 'dog house'.

Got to run to the grocery store today. David and I are both hungry for chili. He was suppose to bring home the fix'ins last night but forgot. He went to a buddies house and that did that. So Mom will go get the fix'ins for the chili. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Will have to separate some for Jenny and Kelly with out beans. Kelly doesn't like kidney beans and Jenny is nursing. David and I like it with beans. Of course everyone else suffers!!!

Ok gonna get around, need to do a few dishes from last night, take a shower as my hair is standing up every which way and then get to the store.

Hope everyone has a wonderfully peaceful day. Be safe in all that you do.

Love to all

Good Morning All from San Carlos, Sonora Mexico. Blue skys puffy clouds and in the low 70s. Ava happy for you and your move. Sounds like it is a good deal for you.
Soos - sorry for your loss. Know how hard it is - that's one of the reasons we no longer have furry friends.
We only went 150 miles yesterday just down the coast a ways. Lots of people in this campground - mostly Canadians.
Just checking in
Safe travels and better weather to everyone.

Ava,
I'm just reading about your move. Wooeee, girl, you've got changes. Can't wait for pics of the new place after you get settled in. And then you get to make more friends - your new neighbors. You'll only lose the friendship of the "old" neighbors if you let it happen - course, lots of us let that happen, unfortunately.

Tomorrow Sparkle and I will be heding to town to check on getting some work done on our rigs yet again. My generator is the bane of my existence, again. It worked so well after being fixed last April - thought those problems were over - NOT. LOL Hopefully it's nothing major this time.

Have a great day all - going to be a bum today and just enjoy the beautiful view out our windows and on our walks.

Good Morning

Ava - Congrats on new place. We are all looking forward to pixs of your new location when you get settled.

The cold and snow here the past few days have made getting out and doing anything most uncomfortable. I did not rush out to photograph the unusual snow yesterday as the weather channel had lots of photos from our area. Did get one to share:

Best wishes, Ava, on your move. I know it's a job, with lots to remember, but how nice that they are going to help you move the shed! That will be one less thing to worry about. Hope you have fun getting settled in the new place.

Brrr, looks cold where you are Sarah. Chilly here this morning too, but hoping for a warming trnd this week.

Aw, leave Twitch in your signature for awhile Soos. It's a great picture of him and like his "phantom" movements in your house, it'll remind you of the good years he was your companion.

It's afternoon now, I'm home from church. A group of us went out for lunch after church. Now I think I'll curl up under a blanket with a good book or a nap.

I'm late in posting as it's nearly 4 pm here. A cold, blustery, bluesy day for me today. Right now I'm awaiting my DD/SIL/GDs as they used my car to drive to Seattle yesterday for their work Christmas party, and will be bringing it back here soon. I made meatballs for sandwiches. That sounded good. I'll cover the meatballs with pepper jack cheese and put the opened faced sandwiches under the broiler. It's so cold and windy here something spicy sounded good.

I want to ask you ladies to say an extra prayer for my son and his medical team. He's a Dr. in the Air Force, embedded with the Filipino Marines on one of their islands, fighting Muslim cell groups/Al Qaeda. Anyway, yesterday there was a bombing of one of the buildings about a mile from where he is posted and he had to work on the casualties. He lost one of the men he was working on and is taking it very hard. He's experienced some very gruesome things that the Al Qaeda are noted for. Whole villages wiped out of all living things. Adults and children. Mass graves. The US news rarely shows any of this. Anyway, thanks and God bless.

He's got my prayers for sure Lenora. And so do you.

My David spent time in Somalia, other places and spent almost 18 months in Iraq. He came home a different person than who he was when he went there.

I'll be praying for your son in the Phillipines, Lenora. It's true the media seem to focus their reports on Iraq and Afghanistan, and we don't hear about what's happening in so many other hot spots of Al Qaida in the world.

I truly didn't know we had troops anywhere fighting but Iraq and Afghanistan. I will send strength to your son, Lenora, and to you as well. It's a scary thing. Al Qaida needs to be wiped out, but not our sons and husbands and fathers and uncles and nephews.

Will be thinking of all those guys out there on the lines.

I agree, Soos, and add - not our daughters, wives, mothers, aunts and nieces...it's a different military than when we grew up!

Prayers for your son, Lenora, and all military personnel.
We can never repay what they do for us, nor what they sacrifice for us.
