Friday is Fine!

Good morning ladies, rise and shine, Friday is fine!

Actually it's a chilly 51 degrees right now. Hope you can start south tomorrow, Kath...but don't bring the cold weather with you, ok? Looks like more rain expected here today and tomoorow with chilly temps.

Simple plans today: Going to buy computer ink, then print out a few "home-made" Christmas cards to send. I don't send many, but usually reciprocate to those who send me one.

Tomorrow I'll attend the Kiwanis Pancake breakfast with a friend, as has become a tradition for me. The money raised is used to send local kids to summer camp who could not afford it otherwise. Then we'll go to the mall and pick an "angel" from the tree to buy gifts for a needy person. Last year I picked an elderly woman living alone. It seemed those were not as "popular" as the ones for children. Then I will shop, wrap, and return the gifts to the mall where they will be distributed to the person I picked.

Have a good day, whereever you are and whatever you're doing.

I waken at 6 every morning and its PITCH black. so I lie there until 7, with Bogie's tail going thump thump everytime I blink. So anyway its dawn now at Pilots Knob free camping and its all pink and pearly. I think the plan is to unhook my truck and we'll see if we can find a more scenic spot to boondock. I'm in the desert again!

Good morning all, it's a chilly 39* here in central TX, and snow is still in the forecast, altho it's dropped to 60% chance now.
I'm walking down to the grocery for some apples and zucs in a few minutes. And then a couple sewing projects; I'm making shirts for my nephews, 10 and 12. Won't be long before they won't want to wear my creations. :) Also picked up Xmas fabric for Mom and Me apron projects. Those are fun and easy! My van is now winterized for the cold temps tonight. When the warm weather returns I'm looking forward to a couple short trips. Stay warm and have a fun day (even if it is in the desert!).

Good morning to all - we are still in Bahia de Kino - will be moving further south tomorrow - maybe to Alamos if not there to Huatabampito (I like that word - means willows near the water) Not that many "gringos" here this year - at least not in this area.
Yesterday it got really warm for the first time. Had to dig out my shorts and then had to shave my legs!!! Finally found my electric razor where I put it so I'd remember where it was. Strange - my Mom said once she got older she didn't have to shave her legs anymore - I'm getting more hair then I ever had.
Got a note from a friend at home it is 22 degrees there brrrrrr. It amazes me here - as we drive through town all the kids have on long sleeves and jackets. Just heard one of the workers in the campground says its cold this a.m. and he has on a jacket.
Wishing everyone a good and safe day.

Good chilly morning to all.
Had to be up and out early this morning for some medical tests/lab work. Fasting kind - I hate those as I'm one who needs coffee first thing in the morning. Busy getting my coffee now down now. Couple more brief appointments this morning then I'm off to pick up a visitor from the forum who is camping nearby (more on that later).
We actually have a 50% chance of snow tonight and Saturday morning. Really hope forecast is wrong.

It's only 46 degrees here at Blythe, CA right now, but is supposed to get up to 63 today. Nothing like the normal summer temps of around 100 here, but it's very pleasant.

Nice and cozy inside this little rig with the small electric heater going. Just spent an hour or so changing my mailing address back to the Livingston, TX mail forwarding one. Tired of using General Delivery forwarded from the old address in Oklahoma. It's nice to have everything in one place even though I do almost everything online; some magazines and stuff still sneak through.

Need to find a place to get the MH lubed and the oil changed. Tried the Ford service place here, but they aren't set up for motorhomes, even ones as small as mine, as their service bay doors aren't tall enough. So, guess I'll spend a little time on the phone.

This campground is filling up with lots of people from Alberta, Canada who come here for several months every winter. It's fun to watch everyone get back together again after a year away.

One more week here, then it's off to Brawley, CA, probably Wiest Lake campground for a few days. Will visit my mom next week to celebrate our birthdays and an early Christmas as I'm thinking of traveling somewhere over Christmas. Another of those plans made in Jell-o. :D

Those of you with colder weather, enjoy it and stay warm.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Cool 41f here this morning, weather page says high today will be 47f. Rained yesterday and the day before too. It was trying to sprinkle last night at 12:44am when I took shade out for the last time. It's still over cast out there with a slight breeze but at least it's not raining. Suppose to be that way today and tomorrow. I do see that it's a teeny tiny bit warmer here that it is out in northern AZ so that is one thing I can enjoy. ;)

Just got done feeding and putting a clean sleeper on Conner then the little bugger worked both ends and needs to be changed again. Oh the joys of babyhood!

Of course nothing much is planned here today. David is off to work, Jenny and Conner just went out the door off to where ever. I know she's going over to her Mom's cause she just came back in to grab Conner's first baby pictures so her Mom can pick a couple out. Kelly is finally up, sitting in the living room watching "Wife Swap" and eating a bowl of cereal.

Did most of the housework that needed doing yesterday, not much left to do now. I will be mopping all the floors and whatever else I see that needs tidying up. And then I think I will get the sewing machine out. I have a great big wad of white flannel that I left in AZ. I sure do wish now that I had brought it with me, dang it!!! :x

I hope everyone has a great day doing fun things, even if ya gotta work. Stay safe!!!

Love to all
