RABBITS!!!! on Tuesday

Good morning,
actually, I'm up in the middle of the night but it is Tuesday and I did say Rabbits!!
Can't sleep, tossing things around in my head, do I leave or do I stay? Its that time
of year when we get our new lease, it starts in January. They did rent increases
for the last two years and AGAIN this year. The rent is going up to 340, and thats
getting high considering my job situation with less hours and not enough part time
work to make up the difference. Checked into a couple of parks over the last couple
days, can get rent elsewhere for less than 200 a month. Not as nice but it will certainly
fit the budget much better. My friend Ginny will move my unit for me "no charge" if I
make the decision before the end of the month, then they are off to Florida.
Decisions, decisions.
Have a long day at work today, probably won't get home til 8 but it does mean extra hours.
I'd like to say the coffee is on but its not, I'm going back to bed.
Enjoy your day and be safe, and good health to all.

GOOD MORNING AVA, AND ALL!
And Happy December!

And, as soon as I saw the title of your post, I KNEW I had blown it yet again----no RABBITS for me this morning! When my rooster alarm clock went off, it was some choice expletives, followed by "OH NO!" Sigh---another month with no rabbit luck!

Temperature is about 17 out there, with no more snow than we had last night (a sprinkling) that I can see on the deck. My truck is sealed in a covering of ice and a sprinking of snow, after the warm rainy stuff we had all day yesterday. It'll take some running of the engine to warm it up enough to get inside, let alone melt the stuff on the windows. Good thing I have a remote starter.

I know that feeling about decisions, Ava, only too well. The difference in rent price certainly seems like a good move, but I guess it all depends on what you are paying the extra money for where you are. Perhaps, as you are a dependable 'regular' in your current park, they would give you a 'deal' on price? If not, back you go to the drawing board for plans! More and more people are discovering they can live more cheaply in homes on wheels than in regular rental housing or in their own regular homes. I suspect the rental prices in the camping parks are reflecting this, and the owners can get away with raising their prices. Of course, I suppose their insurance is constantly going up along with their other expenditures, as well.

I am at a loss for words this morning---have been sitting here, staring at my screen for over 10 minutes now, as I muddle over what my plans for dealing with work problems are. So, at that, I'll offer you all coffee and a warm place to sit a spell and let us know what's up in your world. Molly, Twitch and I will do our morning chores and routines.

May December bring some snow, PLEASE.

Good Morning everyone!

Ava,... that's a savings of $1,680/yr. For those of us that are always figuring -- it is quite a bit. If you can be happy in a different park it would be something to consider. How nice of your friend to move your 5th for you if you do decide to do that.

Soos,...I wish you well for today at work. Many years ago I was in a work situation that was very unhappy,... I know the toll it can take on a person's emotions, mind and body. Do put yourself first,... take care of YOU! We all care about your well-being. I know you aren't a "hug" person, but perhaps in this case you would let us give you a "cyber hug" just for friendship and support?

To everyone... hope your day is a fine one!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Yeah I know it's not really morning anymore but it still feels like morning. Does that count? ;)

Nope no rabbits for me this morning either Soos and I was really gonna try to do that. Well, I was at least gonna say RABBITS but not shout it. Kelly and I are sleeping in the same room and she would shoot my butt if I yelled 'rabbits' and woke her up! :o Actually my first words this morning were to tell Shade, "Ok, ok!" She was after me to get up and go out. While she isn't an on time alarm she is something else at getting me awake and out the door so she can do her morning thing. She will not take no for an answer!!!

Ava that "less than $200 rent" sounds pretty interesting. Right off the bat it would be a savings of $140 a month which would be more money left in your pocket. Is is closer, farther or about the same distance from work? How would it affect your fuel cost back and forth to work, grocery store, doctors, etc. ? If your friend is willing to move your 5'er that is super and one less cost. I have no worry about, if it's not quite "as nice", as I know you will make whatever space nice for you and the pups. Check the other place to be sure you can put up the fence for the pups as I know some places are kinda iffy about it. It might be a hassle to move everything but in the long run it might work out for the best all around.

Have been swilling my coffee and for breakfast I am gonna try Raisin Brand Crunch. The kids eat it and Kelly raves about it after trying it. As a matter of fact I told David and Jenny that they have created a monster where that cereal is concerned!!! I have lost count of how many boxes of it Kelly has bought!!! :D

Ok, nothing much else planned for the day, housework, dishes and floors. Will probably do out a couple of loads of laundry but that's it.

Hope everyone has a good and please remember to stay safe!

Love to all

Good afternoon ladies.

Don't you just hate these kinds of decisions? Ava, maybe if you asked they might keep your rent as is, depending on how long you have been living there. As Soos and Echo have said, I would do a pros and cons list to moving, and compare as many places as possible. If it costs you more to commute to work and get to other places you frequent, then you aren't saving money. If the new place has less ammenties that you need, want, use, then its a minus. Just a place to start.

Soos, I am sorry that you hate your job. As Cedar said, a job is not worth all that grief and aggravation. If you have plans to work camp, why not spend some time over the Christmas break and check out some areas. Possibly, there would be some cancellations in Fla. for the beginning of the new year. At this point, there are 7 months left of the school year (if June is the last month) and then you planned on retiring. It's 7 months, not years, why be miserable?

Just my 1/2 cent and I'm also sending sending cyber hugs to you and Ava. Linda
