MOODY MONDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!!
36 degrees this morning---more like November weather. Monday, Monday-----can't stand this day. Saturday used to be my favorite day of the week when I was a student, and now that I am a teacher, Friday nights are my favorite. On Friday, I know I have two free days. On Saturday, I realize I have only one more morning that I don't have to get up to an alarm clock, so it robs from my appreciation of that day. I used to actually like teaching. However this year, I am not teaching, but baby sitting and policing. If I ever needed a nudge out of the door, I guess this is it.
Molly and I had a good walk yesterday afternoon, down to the very quiet about-to-freeze-over pond. No geese, no birds of any kind other than the transient Canada Jays who are so tame and bold as they come to humans for a handout. Tons of deer tracks and coyote tracks, and a lone wolf-size track all over in the wet sand and mud on the trails. Sure would love to spot the canid that left that huge foot trail! The poops are HUGE, too, and full of rabbit bones and bird bones and whatever. I suppose I should try to set up my game camera again. I got disgusted with the way that works...wish I had gotten the flash model now, rather than the infra-red model. Sigh---live and learn.
Coffee is hot now, so I need to get moving here. Stop by and tell us about your day and what exciting things are going on in your treks. 5 days of agony for me this week, and then only 2 days next week---that will have to keep me putting one foot in front of another for now.
