Good Morning Ladies!

Can't believe I'm first in the kitchen. I've got coffee on and water boiling for tea, OJ and sodas in the fridge. Scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuits are going or Mitch can make yall some pancakes. Toast and cereal for those who want a little less.

Got the call this morning to have the rv in Pensacola on Sunday for the wheelchair lift install to begin on Monday. I started removing the cabinet in the garage area yesterday and will finish up this week when I have a sunny day. It is 70% rain today and tonight and 30% tomorrow. Flash Flood watch going on right now. Guess I'll find something to do inside today,,,, if I have to, LOL.

Have a great day and everyone out there traveling, stay safe. I'm thinking we need a check in from Sharon,,, Hey Sharon are you still in AR at your boy chick's or headed back to CA?

Good afternoon gang!

What a great afternoon trip Kath and I had yesterday, and stopping in to see Soosie was the highlight. Kath just had to get out and enjoy her "new" Chevy TrailBlazer. Soos...not to worry about camping stuff in your livingroom, I got the same thing. My gen sits in my kitchen!

The flu is hitting us hard here, we have 10 staff/faculty members out of school here today,... and a lot of kids. Our local county DoH isn't saying it's H1N1, but "flu-like" illness.

It's a beautiful sunny day,.... I hope everyone is enjoying life wherever you are...

Where is everyone? Its passed lunch !!!!! :?

I am finally home, for awhile. I have had a great time, the GTG was super, so many showed up, all people I had not met before, so I really enjoyed it. Mitch's wished for good weather, was there too! Also, one of the guys from the ORS forum, who went to Alaska with us, parked right across the road from Vicky. We were both surprised. It really is a small world when you get out in your R.V. !!!!

I haven't checked out the pictures Tina has posted yet, guess I should have first off, should I be hiding my face?  She gave hints as to what she posted, hope she didn't post all she said she did. We had a good time, I love the Trace, always discover something I didn't notice before or I should say remembered. Liz, told me I knew Merriwether Lewis was buried there, she told me, but I didn't remember it. Maybe I will now??!!!!!

I had a great time in West Tn. Stayed a week longer due to having to replace the brake master cyclinder. My mechanic lives over there, so couldn't have happened at a better time, IF, it had to go. So many friends and some family live there, or have homes there and all will be there Thanksgiving, and so will I?

Safe and Happy travels,
Carol

GOOD AFTERNOON SISTAHS!!!

I had an omelet for breakfast this morning. Had the cook put in ham, onions, mushrooms and of course cheese! Yum.

All done with work for the day. Got more of the shelves in the kitchen all washed and sparkling. Only have a few left to do. :D Tim, the other guy who is supposed to be swapping back and forth with me between housekeeping and dishes asked me this morning if I still wanted to stay with dishes the next 2 days? Told him, "Yep". He doesn't want anything to do with the extra cleaning I'm doing in the kitchen. Only got a few more days here of work. Last night for guests is the 31st then the Lodge is closed!!!!

Sparkle talked to me about Quartzsite AZ. I had knocked the idea around before. Kelly is now googling everything she can about the area. She is in her glory doing all that research. Have no idea why she never went into that line of work? Said she wasn't interested and didn't know enough about computers. LIE! Dummy kid!! She has no confidence in herself. sheesh!

First things first! Need to get signed up for unemployment as soon as we can. I need to get a D.O.T. Physical, call Flagstaff AZ DMV and make an appointment to renew my CDL license. I hate the cost but I really want to hold onto the CDL for now. Never know I might find a job driving somewhere at a resort or even dump truck during the off season out here! If I let it go now and then find a driving job of some sort somewhere I would be screwed. If I let it go and revert back to a regular license to get the CDL back I would have to go thru the rigmarole of taking the written test and road test all over again. GADS!!!! So I will do whatever I can to keep what I got!

Ok, time to head home and figure out something for supper. Ya know I'm tired of cooking. Well Kelly cooks too. Mostly I guess I'm tired of trying to figure out WHAT to fix for supper. Get tired of the same old, same old!!! ;)

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe!!!

Love to all
