..Good morning!
Since it's Sunday and the beginning of the end of the weekend for some, I thought we should have a special breakfast...Carolyn Coolers to start, of course, along with regular Mimosas, coffee, tomato juice, and diet coke. For the main course, how about we all sample a traditional Hawaiian breakfast - the Loco Moco - a bed of rice, topped with a beef patty, covered with mushroom gravy, and topped with a fried egg...it is sooooo delicious - too much food, but delicious! Aloha.
Hmmmmm...a Maui GTG? ..

Good Morning All - thank you Mitch for getting the day off to a good start. It's 8:30 here and just now getting light. Looks like it will be a sunny day. We enjoy them when we can. Hard rain and blowing wind have taken most of the leaves off the trees. And this is the big weekend for the tourists here in Nashville, Indiana. Can't even walk on the sidewalks downtown so many people.
We are waiting for the satellite guy to show up to finish the system on Jennie - he was supposed to be here yesterday - no call - no show. Right now we're not very happy with him. Love living in the middle of no where.
Have a good day everyone.

I see the sun, I see the sun...... Already got a call that Ellen (step mother) has a list of "stuff" she needs.....so will run down there this afternoon. Dogs are clean but need some grooming..... and the Sunny and the Twins need to see a bit of Ohio before they head back to So. California....
Diet Coke for me....and off we will go.

Morning! Thanks for setting the table, Mitch! The food pic looks like a hearty fare!
Still dark here but most mornings have been foggy, per usual. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, sunny and hardly any wind. I got an email from my DD to come up and watch the GD's soccer games. I kinda felt guilty as I already had committed to a financial function held at our movie theater. The function was listening to a spiel from Edward Jones on the state of the economy etc and then we watched the movie The Bucket List. I hadn't seen it yet and it was fun. After that we got 20% off a meal at the grill next door.
Nothing much planned for today besides a few groceries and picking up a prescription.
Hope everyone has a great day planned. Those traveling, be safe.

good morning ladies
its just a tad chilly this am, have the little electric heater blowing on my feet
to warm me up. Coffee is good and hot, and looking around for something to
go with it. Very little on the agenda today, except......I'm thinking of going
to Boyce Thompson Arboretum, they are having a presentation today at 1:30
on Edible plants in the desert, its just an hour long presentation and the walk
will do me good. They do allow dogs on leash so I'd have to decide who gets
to go and who stays home, can only handle one as my back is really sore
today.
Well, I'm off to get the dishes done from yesterday and tidy up a little.
Have a great day and good weather to ya

Hello all!
The sun is up and it's going to be a beautiful, warm day here. I'm off to the biggest RV show in CA, hopefully just to dream. But you never know ... I keep thinking about getting a motorhome, just because I'm lazy. But I wouldn't get a big one because I don't need that for this stage of my life. Maybe something like a Class B, that's big enough for just Jed & me but small enough to still putz around town in. If I do something like that I'd get rid of my Explorer and maybe trade the VW for smoething a little larger. Whew! I'm tired just thinking through this whole process!
Jed's doing well. The cutback in his phenobarb levels have given me back my dog, and I'm grateful. So we'll go for a couple of short walks today & he'll hang out with me while I mow the lawn this afternoong. Then I HAVE to get ready for my 37(!) parent conferences at school this week. Hopefully I'll still know my name on Friday and not have killed anyone in the process of meeting some of the so-called parents.
Okay. Enough. I have the day off, it's beautiful, and I'm going to have fun for at least part of it. I hope you all have a great day too!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!!!
YeeHaw I made it, it's still morning. Dang! Well at least it's still morning here. sheesh!
Pancakes here this morn for me and Kelly had bacon w/eggs and toast. Oh!! And ccccccoooooofffffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
Little overcast here today, don't know if it's gonna be sunny or not today? We are the no where place I guess. The weather report we get and post on the wall here is always a day late? Go figure! About 20 miles from the North Rim and while they get an up to date weather report we have to make do with a day late one. grrrrrrr And even tho it's only about 20 miles the weather is different between here and there.
Everybody here is talking Halloween. On the 31st after they boot all the guests out of the Lodge the employees have a Halloween party so there are multiple discussions about costumes. No one is telling what they are going dressed up as so it will be a surprise to all. Kinda looking forward to the party even tho Kelly and I both have to work the next morning. I will be doing whatever dishes and she will be stripping rooms as the 31st is the last night for any guests. Then it will be a ghost town up here. Get all done and then the loverly job of packing up and loading the trailer. Then going ???? somewhere??? ~sigh~
Super good news on Jed!!!
Ok it's time for me to get the butt in gear, punch in and get to work.
Love to all

Good afternoon everybody. No time before church this morning to check in. Yesterday I was busy all day at a festival...will post about that later.
Good to see you back Mitch, you had me missing you. I don't care what they say about you, I like you.
Good news about Jed, I know you're relieved to have him acting more like himself again.
Can't wait to hear about everyone's Halloween costumes on the North Rim, Echo. Don't forget, we want pictures!
I can just hear your dogs Ava, "Take me!," "No, take me!" The talk about edible plants sounds interesting.
Hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day inside or out.

well, church was good.. saw the old pastor and his wifey,,, she's a good friend of my daughters and I call her my 2nd daughter, and since my daughter is far away from me,, I gave her a mama/daughter type of hug and kiss. Made MY day!
Lunch was superb,,, local bbq taken home and now for a nap....... I think i'll turn on the cowboys and sleep thru it ..
Wish I was in CALIF and could attend a great big ole rv show. I love those things! ! !
Glad to hear Jed is his old self.
You girls enjoy the rest of the day,, as am I gonna....it's sorta fall-ish,, but temps are in the 70's,,,, so some might not call that fallish,, but,, hey ,,, it's a cross I'll have to bear...
Sounds like Echo is having my kind of good time! NOW is a good time to be where she is,, just not the dead of summer!
Yeah , I know,, I sound like a broken record,, I hate heat... i hate heat,, i hate heat,, bla bla bla....so I'll hush now
