Sunless Saturday

Good morning, Ladies (and in Vickie's case, I use that term loosely...)!

It's yet another sunless day here in NW TN! Jeesh...dreary, overcast days are getting old.

We got home from 5 days just outside of St. Louis and it had rained over 2" on Thursday here at home, so I couldn't drive across the lawn! :(

I took a very deep breath and decided to BACK UP the entire (300 feet) driveway! I DID IT! Didn't run off the drive once. And it didn't take so very much time. I guess practice really does make perfect in relation to a trailer! :D

Time to start the winterizing process now...that's a sad day, isn't it? That, coupled with lousy weather - YUCKO weekend.

I hope you all stay safe, warm (or cool, as the case may be), and happy this weekend!

Happy Travels.

Oh, there's coffee, tomato juice, Coke in the fridge, and if you look around, I'll bet you could find the fixin's for a Carolyn Cooler...great way to start a Saturday, huh? Hmmmmm....I think I'll make us a special breakfast. Anyway, I put out some breakfast burritors and some gooey, cherry coffeecake! And some fried eggs, fries, grilled tomato, and bacon...

Now that's making me drool here on this dark morning! Thanks for the great breakfast---now if I could just crawl into byteland with a fork and EAT it!

Here are two pics I took of my place as the sun is coming up and shining through a couple of spaces in the heavy overcast sky. I love the contrasts!

A smattering of sunshine as the sun rises this morning.

It's a day to work inside after I go to the dump.

Gee I think that is the sun coming out here been so long you start to forget ;) I made a special treat for breakfast this morning, Luganega sasauge, yummm. I seldom have meat with breakfast but this is a sausage only available certain months of the year and so thought I'd try it on a friends recommendation.
I hope everyone who has been having dark dreary days has a lovey sunny one today.

Congrats on the back up Mitch, knew you could do it!

good morning
good job mitch, and the breakfast looks yummy. I've been up and gone to work already.
I was to take the debate team to a function across town and then go back this evening
(10 pm) to pick them up. However, only 7 kids showed up and the teacher decided to
take their activity shuttle instead. I still get paid for the time spent but I loose out
on the 8 hour+ extra time, we win some, we loose some. Although, I was dreading
having to go at 10 pm to pick them up.
I can certainly think of more fun things to do today, like take a drive over to a local
campground and check it out to see how busy its been, etc. :D Have a mini-gtg in
my near future :D Stay tuned for more news on that soon :D
Had a great surprize at work yesterday......one of the ladies sold her house and was moving to Reno, she brought me all her pantry stuff AND all her freezer stuff. Man,
I am set for food for awhile, and the best thing about it all.....its all healthy stuff.
No junk food at all, this lady was very particular about what she ate and she was
very healthy! Angels show up when you least expect them.
Ok, dogs are fed, and resting now, and the coffee is hot. Have a great day and enjoy
what ever it is that you decide to do today.

Good afternoon ladies. Good job backing up Mitch. It's all mind over matter and a little practice. I know, great advice from someone who is too chicken to even try.   Spent the morning straightening up and, cleaning out the camper, changing the sheets, etc. I used the camper a few times this year and didn't put water into the tank, so don't have to winterize. Just used paper plates and plastic cutlery or ate out. I'll refresh the traps with antifreeze and will clean the black tank with the wand thingy and then dump some AF down there as well.

The temp is in the mid 60's, so I opened all the windows in the camper and will let it air out for the afternoon. I'm going back shortly and will run the generator and watch a little Agatha Christie and have lunch in the camper. Sounds like a good afternoon.

Mitch, your avatar is more appropriate now. What was up with the cutsy angel? :D : ;) Since when do you do what Vickie tells you. :o Okay tip toeing out of here. Linda

I'm late getting on the road today. About a month ago I made some sour dough starter and every 2 or 3 days you have to use some or throw some away and add flour and water or put it in the frig. I made a loaf of bread to bring to a friend. Sure hope it is good, I hate to give something away I haven't sampled. The last loaf was the best so far. I am finally starting to get along with my new bread machine. Like we need hot bread every few days.

It was sunny this morning but is getting overcast. I didn't think we were suppose to get more rain, we got 3 1/2 inches from the last front.

Yeah, Mitch is known for being loose!
Good Afternoon Beautiful Sistah's. It's sunshine here today, just some light clouds and currently 66 degrees. Got the laundry going and doing odd jobs around the house. (NO Mitch, not the odd doing the jobs!)

Spoke to the FL company that is doing Hommie's lift in the RV. The door came in from CA and now we are trying to schedule the install. We're hoping for a Monday/Tuesday start date so they will have the week to finish up in case there are any problems, as opposed to starting later into the week and us having to sit in a hotel over the weekend and them finish the next week.. we'll see what happens.

Linda,,,, keep stiring, LOL! I actually didn't suggest this avatar, but kept Image encouraging her to do the right thing and remove the angel that people would confuse with my avatar, and Image suggested that she put one that she felt would be more representative of her own personality.

I'm startin' to get a complex here, ladies.
I'll have to find a forum where SOMEBODY likes me and all don't side with the truly mean (and deceptive) person...

Ain't that just like Vickie - beating a helpless animal and yelling...
Now, I found that horse gif quite a while ago and no way could I bring myself to use it...

Um, Mitch, I didn't look at it as a horse, I saw it as an Ass, you know as in Jackass! Image

GOOD AFTERNOON SISTAHS!!!!

Yeah I know always late, that's me!!! I was on earlier and it was actually morning too but didn't take the time to post.

I don't know about ya'll! Your bad, bad, bad and more bad!!!

Beautiful day here, sun is shining, the temp is decent a slight breeze and a super blue sky. Ahhhhhhhh

Went to town Thursday just goofed around for the most part. Went to the Red Cliffs Mall too. Yuck I hate the malls. This one surprised the he77 out of me. They really didn't have much to it at all. Got the usual anchor stores Dillards, Sears, JC Pennys, Barnes and Noble and some smaller stores but we wondered around a bit and left. You could do the whole circuit in 15 minutes I bet. Went in to Bath & Body Works for just a few minutes and had to get my butt out of there. OMG between the scents of what they were selling and the incense they had in there I thought I was gonna suffocate. Jeeze I got to coughing and hacking, when I got to the point that I was choking I covered my nose and mouth and left. Dang that place could be dangerous for some people!!! I've been in the stores before quite a few times and never had it bother me like that. Gads!!! But all in all it was a pretty small mall. Someday I will get to MN and go to the Mall of America just so I can say I've been there.

Mitch I'll take some of that tomato juice even if it is lunch time here. I love tomato juice.

Hope everyone has a great day today and a really good weekend too.

Love to all
