Hooray it isn't raining this morning! Hope everyone else who has been having way too much precipitation is having better weather. Coffee is on, omelets are ready for cooking, look around the kitchen I'm sure the pantry is full of other goodies. I'm off to the farmers market in hopes of finding broccoli, then to my yoga class.

GOOD SATURDAY MORNING TO US ALL!!

So nice to be able to close my eyes and snooze until the sun is high enough to make me want to roll out of my now 10 inch high mattress on my living room sofa bed! (7 inches of memory foam from trailer and 3 inches of regular foam from sofa bed.) It's 40 degrees here, soggy, grey, and moldy out there. My wood pile has slimy mold and fungi on all the logs that are supposed to be drying out for the winter. ACK!!!

I am supposed to drop off trailer at the dealer's today, but don't know if I'll wait until the sun comes out, or not. I also want to check out truck caps at another place, so might just have to put on raincoat and hitch up.

My longtime friend, Issy, and her guy are leaving for FL today in their Motor home----I will miss having them as neighbors for the long winter.

Wood fire feels good, and coffee tastes good, so c'mon in and sit a spell. Thanks for the coffee, Redetotry. I sure hope your weather, wherever you are, is nicer than we have been having up here in the north country!

good morning everyone
coffee is mighty tasty and omelet sure hits the spot, been craving an egg sandwich
for awhile now, so an omelet between two slices of toast fits the bill. :P
Have a field trip to do later, high school marching band competition, worth about
10 hours on the time sheet. But next week, unfortunately for me is fall break,
worth nada! zilch! Maybe I'll win the lottery tonight, and I can say I'm only
working for insurance. I can certainly dream big
The weather is nice, a little overcast but it will probably burn off in about an
hour. Just don't want it to rain cause then the competition could cancel.
Well, I'm off to start my day, have a good one and be safe.

Morning,
Chilly AM again but will be mostly sunny later. Weatherman says it's the last of our sun for at least a week as a cold front with rain is coming down from Alaska tomorrow. Probably will get some good hard frosts, too. Got an email from my dear friend in AK and she said their Fall has been strange, warmer than usual, and all the trees have already lost most of their leaves.
Today is soccer for my two GDs. I'll drive up the interstate and watch. They play at two different fields/cities, but at different times so I'll be able to make both.
Coffee tastes good this morning. :D Ava made me hungry for an egg sandwich. We must be on the same wave length as I just bought eggs yesterday.
Safe travels to anyone on the roads today!

Good morning; almost afternoon

I must tell you that going to the TN gtg was the best present I've given myself ever. It was a joy to met so many wonderful women and I learned so much.
I will add to the gtg photos later today if Photobucket decides to become more cooperative.

I left Nashville ahead of the storm. The black clouds chased me all the way home but I made it before the situation turned bad. Knew when I arrived here that with the heat index above 90 and all the unstable moist air, we would likely get some exciting weather conditions as the cold front hit. I stopped by store to get milk ad bread only to learn we were already under a tornado watch and flash flood warning. I quickly went to friend's house to pick up Nicky and got back to my house about the time the watch changed to a warning. Secured what I could on the porch and waited for it to pass. Several tornados were reported but none touched down. The city and county suffered some wind damage (gusts recorded at 62 mph) as trees and power lines came down. My power loss was brief but there are still some without power this morning. Rain continued thru much of the night and into the daylight hours of this morning.

It was good to get back into my own bed last night but I sorely missed the campfire and good company of the TN gtg.
