GOOD FRIDAY MORNING!
47 degrees, clear, beautiful starry morning out there! It's been a good, although stressful, (as all new jobs tend to be) first week of my new job at school. I really like the laid back setting of our room that the main teacher sets. (The teacher is one year younger than my daughter!) He allows our 6 special needs students many leeways in behavior to be able to cope with their various learning problems, and told them right up front that the title of his class-----Vocational Life Skills----describes just what our goals are, which is to prepare them for being able to get a paying, satisfying job. A couple of the guys he taught last year have been coming in for visits this week, all excited about their new jobs in the community, and Will (teacher) asked them if they would be interested in coming in once in a while to volunteer to help the new students. This would be a great thing for all concerned. I am really a happy camper with this new job!
Coffee is hot, strong, and tasty with hazlenut flavor and vanilla creamer, so pull up a chair and let us know what's going on with you.
After today, we are getting a 3-day weekend with BEAUTIFUL weather predicted! I am thinking of spending it at the leanto with Molly. If so, I may not get here on time to do morning coffee.....no internet down there. OR, I may just opt for my favorite campground, Camp Nasoosie, right in my back yard in my trailer! Internet signal and satellite TV out there! My daughter will be around to help me with the chimney this weekend, she said in a call last night. YIPPEE!!!
I can't wait to see some of Martha's game camera pics, too! That monster seems to be making the rounds, eh?? Perhaps it's 'Bigfoot' hiking around the country! Maybe I'll have better luck with the way I set up the camera yesterday evening. I shall see after school today!
Happy Friday to you all!
