Good Morning everyone, thought I would take this early opportunity to start the morning off. I will be keeping my niece's daughter today from 6:30am till around 4pm so I won't get to post when I normally do. She is a sweetheart and keeps us entertained and laughing all day long, but when she leaves, I'm wore out. I need to remember to call and check on Hommie's lift, get an update on that.

Here's a pic I took of my GreatNiece last winter when I was keeping her 3-4 days a week, whew!

Good Morning Vickie! And all our sisters.....

What a little imp she is.... absolutely adorable! I can almost hear... "Aunt Vickieeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

I'm enjoying a lazy morning in LG2 here at the Upper Hudson Bluegrass Festival. http://www.upperhudsonbluegrassfestival.com/about.php I'll probably take a nap later as there was field pickin' until the wee hours of the morning. Had a little rain early but I can see patches of blue sky now. I can't tell you all how much I'm appreciating this new camper. I keep looking at the awning, kitchen, sofa, and of course the real bathroom and can't stop grinning! :D After starting over in life and getting the Chalet which was all I could afford and tow at that time I really count my blessings to have this real travel trailer now.

So I'll keep puttering around here,... enjoying my coffee, thanks Vickie for getting it going! I just put a pan of peach biscuits on the table for everyone to share.

Have a great day all!

Good Morning to All - it looks like it is going to be a lovely day here in SoCentral Indiana. It is actually cool this a.m. and it didn't rain last night (I don't think) I could hear the train whistle a while ago as it passed one of the crossings. Such a yearning sound. Also hear gun shots in the woods. Is it some "season" now?
We've been working like crazy on Jennie. Mostly him, my work will soon start - filling her up with "stuff". [posted in Rig section] Will probably take her on first trip in a week or so. Worked some on my 2nd window yesterday - but not getting much done fast. Oh well, it keeps.
Have to clean house today - can only put it off so long.

good morning
halleluja its Friday!! and payday Friday at that. Although its already spent cause I'm
playing catch up from the summer loss in pay, I will at least run to the store and get
a few groceries. Still waiting to hear something from an "extra" position I signed up
for at work, that would give me 2 more hours and I would be back up to an 8 hour day.
I'm not holding my breath though, the supervisors daughter signed up as well and the
writing on the wall screams at me. She is a brand new hire, still on her probationary
period and everyone thinks she will automatically get the position. Personally, I don't
know what to think. She isn't even supposed to be working directly under her mother
but they claim she is working under the other supervisor at the other compound,
however, she is at our compound not the other one. Somebody give me some words
of wisdom here please!
Thats about it from me today, isn't that enough? Waking up way too early, can't sleep
and under stress. Have a great day and be safe.

Not sure how "wise" my words are but I can tell you that in 35+ years of working i've seen that before. Sometimes an auditor will catch it. If the daughter is married now and name's changed it still might slip through. It stinks but that's the way it's been... and probably will continue to be. "all in who you know..." Once in a while it's different and that is certainly refreshing. Good luck, sister! We're all cheering for you!
