Yeppers..Here's Thursday..Morning to All

.. It's muggy.. oh boy... and it woke me up..the ceiling fan just wasn't making enough breeze for me..plus my darling Zeke.. his wet nose in my face didn't help.. Never figure out why he only does it too me... guess I'm just blessed !.. anyway..got up .. opened the slider and let the critters out and yucko..it's muggy... and got the crew their water..and grabbed my glass too..guess we are creatures of habit...and speaking of creatures.....

Mitch had a visitor.. Oh YEAH ! In fact ... I have to confess my Robert (being from the south ) would shoot em' Me, I'd name him.. and he'd join the pack of all the others...once named his life would be eternal hahahaha..oh but if I had to fix em for dinner Carold is right I'd have him either Cacciatore or Parmigiana style.....Yes, Sistahs.. I did laugh right along with ya... oh my oh my .....

Echo.. it was good hearing from you.. as it's always such a long long time in between.. amazing how though such a resort doesn't have a better system for internet.. I can imagine how some guest might be a little uptight.. Ya better get with it Sistah on locating a Work Kamp job..Lots of places in Texas.. Keep us posted if ya can...

Liz checked in and she's be heading down to Nasoosies.. oh yeah.. and so will Cedar..she'll be heading across LOL yep that GTG sounds like it's coming together well.. Soos.. we know you'll be exhausted...goodness.. you sure is doing a lot of going the extra mile... but good time will be had by all... and we are praying you have great weather..

RV Grammy (Lori and Ernie) speaking of weather.. we've been having doozies.. last night we had the loudest and the brightest..eeeeeeew.. and was just reading..we're gonna have another one tonight !!

Just in case some of you don't realize... WE share the same weather LOL ! ...yeah we is in Pa..

Paulette is back home.. yeppers.. although she hasn't let us know.. (a birdie told me) but I saw her pop on my Messenger and I thought ok I'll ask her is she having fun.. ooops.. she was back at work already.. wow.. so we'll have to wait till she catches us up....!!

Vickie.. you know I too am like you.. I just get so ticked by people that promise to get back to you.. and just leave ya hanging.. Just say..."Call me in a few days cause I'm bad about getting back to you " ...I once had a friend.. that did that a lot to me.. notice I said.. "I once had a friend".. it's just a thing with me.. don't say it..if you don't mean it... however, I sure hope something can be worked out for you..

NaSoosie.. (Soos) you did a good job on the slide show.. I peeked in.. yeah you all look comfy.. and doesn't look like it was too over crowded which makes it nice..aaaah yes.. like your screen room.. You sure do go through a lot of prep !

OH and a note yesterday .. as RV Grammy noticed (and I didn't) it was the Campfire's year anniversary.. and yes, Congrats goes out to Fernie for lighting that fire.. and all of you that kept it burning..!!

Oh Mitch.. by the way.. that wedding picture.. a real sweet heart.. and you say that was your 15th year anniversary.. not bad Fiji.. I mean what better place to spend any time...LOL

Sunshine Cruiser (Carolyn) Yep, she's got as she said.."14 days and counting " till her retirement.. Oh Carolyn.. did ya get that list of what you want for gifts completed ??? and yes, we'll celebrate with ya too.. you know we do love to do that ...

Birdbybird.. (Tina) I well know how sitting by the fire as well as sitting at the kitchen table lets you just feel you can talk about anything and oh yeah.. my Zeke and Abby.. love crumbs.. heck they inhale and can draft a few !!!

Ok.. Sistah's I'm thirsty.. and being it's Thursday.. lots of stuff to get going for the Weekend coming.. I make my pasta up (homemade) and put it in the freezer .. so when family comes.. it's simple.. just pull out and plop in water ... LOL I'll also make a big pot of sauce up.. as you know we put everything but the sink in it.. LOL this way I can skim off excess fat.. Yeah.. I'll be busy.. but first I have appointment with Pin Dr... ooooooooh it's gonna be different.. sure hope those needles don't hurt.. wonder if I'll be able to count them.. yikes I had visions of pins all over.. some how I think I'm correct... One of my brothers (very old fashion Italian ) calls them Voodoo Drs.. LOL

So.. coffee pot is on perking and kettle is whistlin.. oj and cola are chilled...yep chairs are in place.. come in and sit a spell and let's hear what's happening in your area.. Oh yeah... I have Blueberry, Corn and Bran Muffins.. and Apple Strudel.. so make yourself at home !

GOOD MORNING BARBZEE AND ALL!!

My two old friends have just pulled out for their long day's journey home to PA----it was a super visit with them, with the weather just PERFECT! I love reconnecting with old friends after so many years without them. I hope to visit them on my way to my bro's in PA perhaps next spring.

NOW----I can sit back and await the ORS GTG group!!! Perhaps someone will show up today----Pete said he would be here at about 4:00 in yesterday's morning coffee message, but didn't specify the day! I am so excited to see our weather report, too. This has been the nicest week of the summer, so far, and there seems to be more to come. I need to do a laundry today, and that's about it. Perhaps make a dessert for the GTG, too. I will run an extension cord out to the shelter so we can have some good light out there for cooking, etc.

Cedar will be back at the 4-H thingy, again....I guess I need to go see the pics she posted. I used to love 4-H fairs like that. Cedar, how is your student doing----the one who was in the hospital?

Things are pretty well under control here, I have some chicken salad made, cold beers in the fridge, dessert ready to make, driveway marked out.....time to relax and soak up some SUN! YES, SUN!!!! Just amazing weather for a few days now.

I hear that the coffee is finished brewing, so off I go to get me hot cup and read any messages I have missed in the past couple of days. Happy Thursday to all.

Good morning ladies, all ready for work and a few minutes to check posts, then I'm
outta here. It was really nice to hear from Echo, and if by chance ya get to get on
the computer again Echo, keep your eyes on the work kamp boards in the area
of Payson AZ, a little bird tells me there MIGHT be an opening coming up later on
as some campground changed ownership and they are thinking of putting on a
full time (year round) couple. Don't know the name of the campground, just that
its in Payson.
So, the first week of school is going as expected, lots of kids get put on the wrong
buses, and then there are the new ones that don't know where they live, we have
them stay on the bus and then when we get all done we take them back to school
and parents can pick them up there.
I might not be online alot over the next few weeks, but will pop in occassionally.
I have lots of things on my agenda at the moment, but not going into details now.
Coffee is certainly good this morning and a light rain outside makes it a super
morning. Its been so long since we've had rain, it feels delightful. Will make the
mad dash out to the car where my umbrella is (naturally) and I'm also reminded
I need wipers, (of course, only when it rains) :lol:

Good Morning, all....Well, yes, Zeee and I have almost the same weather.....but this morning has sunshine going right now....

but things are suppose to change later in the day....

Am here later than usual.....hate when I get my second wind at 10pm cause then I'm up til after Midnight... :roll:

so got up late....oh, well...

Guess I need more coffee cause my brain is still sleeping.... :lol:

So I'll get out of here for now...

Good morning everyone!

Zeee you always amaze me with your recap of everyone's lives. You rock, gal!

The three grands had a grand day yesterday. Especially when the youngest stole the show with his calf and beat out his older cousin. But she still loves him. First year the oldest grandchild wasn't there. He's finished one year of college and is working for a John Deere dealership in VT. They grow up way too soon.

There are about 12 4-H clubs in our county. Only this one club still does dairy cattle. The times they are a-changing, sadly so.

Great Fair photos, Cedar!!! Congrats to the winners!!! Yep, notice, too, that there are more beef than dairy being shown.....am waiting for the Fair report from McKean County PA fairgrounds on how my niece made out with her "Sam" with the 4H show....He's a Angus/Holstein cross.....looked pretty good when we were at the farm last month.....

Morning all. Zee, as usual, great recap. Met a lady yesterday, Marlene, who is from my home of Kerrville. She's currently staying in Deming and came to Silver City for the day looking for a winter workamping job. Talk about small world. I expect to see her join as a new member pretty soon. We're talking about going to the Gallup NM balloon festival the first week of December. Anyone else interested? Yes, its cold BUT the balloons go up all around you - you could even stay inside your rig and watch.

Barbz, I haven't been to a 'Pin Doctor" myself, but several friends have and said it doesn't hurt, plus they seem to get quite a bit of benefit from the treatments.
If you watched Dr. Oz on Oprah yesterday he was recommending acupuncture and acupressure. He showed how to do acupressure on yourself for headaches. He has all his patients have that plus reflexology. Also all his heart surgery patients have Reiki because they heal faster.
Since I do Reiki and know how much it helps I'm of course always happy to see main stream medical combining and recommending alternative treatments. Hey, when we are sick or in pain we need all the help we can get. The other thing is the alternative methods are good for preventing problems. I count my regular massages as preventative medicine!

Zeeeeee, good luck with the acupuncturist...

Our next-door neighbor in Illinois had bad back pains for years. Doctor after doctor couldn't help her. Finally, in her mid-70s, she went to a Pin Doctor. She said she hadn't felt so good in many years!

Hopefully, he/she will give you some relief!
