HAZY, COOL SUNDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!
Barb is still with family, so I'll start the coffee pot. I can in no way provide the nice little summaries she enters here each morning, but she will probably be back tomorrow morning! She is a kitchen pro!
It's a very cool and damp 54 degrees here this morning out in the trailer. Twitch, Molly, and I are here. Molly's eyes are wide open again this morning, and she is on bunny-spying-duty on my bed in the back with windows on two sides! Twitch is living up to his well-deserved name, lying here beside me with his tail constantly twtiching. It looks like rain is on the way for today again, so it's a good thing I got the entire lawn mowed again yesterday.
What shall we do today? Well, laundry, for one thing, and then maybe tackle some going through 'stuff' in the house upstairs. I have a ton of clothes spread out on the bed up here which really need to be hung up and folded and stored or given away. Doing that will mean cleaning out that hall closet....eliminating tons of old Christmas 'stuff'---including really old glass tree balls and original bubble lights and who-knows-what other 'stuff'. I have a few boxes of female family pictures in good frames, going back to my great, great, great grandmother on my mother's side of the family. I once had 6 generations hung up side-by-side, and could now have 9 generations if I include my daughter, her daughter, and her daughter!! WOW! I need to get those all scanned and stored digitally, as well as put them up again on some wall somewhere. The chores are endless around here! I could, too, tackle my old VHS tapes and get those at least burned to CDs or DVDs so I can turn them into MP4, or whatever they would store in.
Mitch, about the RABBITS thing-----my grandmother and her mother always had this tradition that if the first word out of your mouth on the 1st of every month was RABBITS, you would have good luck for that entire month. The catch is to remember to do it! Most of the few times I have actually remembered was on New Year's Eve, at the end of the midnight clock chimes, as I was awake, and waiting for that moment! Most times I talk to Molly, or myself, before I remember the important RABBITS!!! So now you know!
So, then---c'mon in and pull up a chair, sip some coffee, and share your day with us all! Coffee is hot and strong! And there is some yogurt with fresh-picked wild raspberries mixed in! (I would include a picture of those raspberries, but I already ate them!) And I'm sure Barb's cupboards have lots of fresh-baked goodies lurking in there!
Happy second day of August!
