Here are some blueberries for your cereal, or whatever you wish to make, Barbzee! Thanks for the great coffee----always wakes me up in the mornings! Maybe I should make some blueberry muffins to take to the bluegrass festival with us next week. I really don't like raw blueberries, but cooked with sweets added----YUMMM!
Here's hoping you all have a fun day wherever you are---can't tell yet whether we are due for some more rain this morning (it rained all night again) or if the sun plans on sticking around.
If the grass ever gets dry again, I need to mow it. First, however, I think I will work on getting the choke mechanism on the lawnmower 'adjusted' so it will keep running when I pull it. Right now, I have to pump the choke and start it about 6 to 8 times (I suppose until it gets warm enough) for it to keep running. All that pulling is not good for my ribs! Mowing itself is not too bad as it's like walking, if I am careful with the turns and don't twist too much.
Thanks for the coffee and chat, Barbzee! Catch you all later----gotta go check out Beth's latest blog entries!

Good morning everyone!
today's the last full day of camping for this trip. Then I'll drop the rig off at the dealer for a few "tweaks" and I'll be home for 5 days before I take off again for a bluegrass festival.
Hope you are all having a great day! Sun is shining here so it will be a grand day at the campsite.

Morning all,
Well I am home this am for a short bit.
We have eyed this campground for several years. Now we have finally decided to stay. Well I think it might be the last time. It was not quite what I expected and we had some issues as soon as we arrived.
WHen DH called them to find out if they had room and fully explained WHY??? ie...to escape the heat of the house and have a home with AC.
When I was checking in and I mentioned I could not wait to get a good night sleep without the high heat...it would be nice to have an AC for a couple of nights.
To which the response was..."If you run your ac you will blow the power to the park"....great...well it is on the lake and about 5-10 degrees cooler, with fans going we could cool the trailer down better then house.
Then we headed to our site...that was suppose to be a pull through and was not. I park to go scope it out as always...only to find out that someone else is in there. I go back and report this. They look up on the computer and are like...no one should be in there at all. So they send someone to go check. Sure enough there is someone there, but they are not home at this time, so they have no idea who it is.
So it takes her about 10 minutes to find us another site. They did upgrade us to full service at no additional charge...so I guess that made up for the bad start.
The other issue...I was fully aware that this is also a seasonal park that allows perm set ups. Now I really do not have an issue with that. They have strict guidelines that the sites are suppose to be kept neat. Sheds are allowed to help in keeping the sites clean. Well we end up next to one..that is a mess. Stuff is everywhere..spilling over into the site next to them.
The owners did some up, to make sure we got in okay...they saw the site and were not very happy. He went over but they people were not there. Although the door is open. Which to me is weird..I don't care how secure this gated campground is...I would not leave my door open if I was gone.
Well....anyway we will make the best of it...the campground is the only one on the lake so it makes for a busy place.

Good Morning all! Haven't posted in Zeee's morning room for a while, just kinda keeping up with posts and commenting a little. Been kinda down, worrying about this wheelchair lift in the RV. Hommie's considering selling his Polaris Rzr because the guys we rode with last year don't call him, unfortunately I had to explain he's high maintenance and some people don't want to be bothered. Yet, get this, one of the guys called this week to see if he was going to the hunting extravaganza in Houston this weekend, cause he wanted to ride with us so he didn't have to spend the gas money,,, needless to say, we aren't going, but it did hurt his feelings. Anyway, I told Hommie to not make any rash decisions, wait till fall is over, possibly next year people's financial situations will be better for buying toys, and if he still isn't using it any, then try to sell it then. BUT, that brings us back to the RV, it's a TOYHAULER, the reason for that being the RZR. There would have been so many more options available to us when we were looking last year if we didn't need the garage area, just a regular TT, therefore having more space for a wheelchair lift, you got the picture. But now, we have the TH, can't sell it or trade it, because we've had it less than a year and would probably still owe more than we could sell it, with prices like they are now. AAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH! I did get an email this morning from a company in east TX that I sent an inquiry to, let's hope and pray that they can do something for us with a lift. Just kinda gets depressing reading all the fun things everyone is doing and great pics of places to go and I feel we are just stuck here,, had planned on going to Mt. Rushmore area this summer, now it's almost Aug. and we haven't been anywhere. I'm just rambling, thanks for being here, I promise I'll be back to my goofy self before yall know it!

I think a good ramble among friends is good for the soul!....and the rest of the body....! Everybody can take turns...hear a few...deliver one....works for me. So much from day to day is unpredictable....I always try to remember to breathe and keep walking forward!

Fingers crossed here for you and Hommie, Vickie. Heaven knows you have a challenging enough lifestyle to not be denied the proper equipment to make things as easy as possible for you. How sad that Hommie's friends aren't willing to include him in their activities----our society is always in too much of a hurry to be able to enjoy the company of others who can't hurry that much. It is their loss, but that's not how it feels to you and Hommie, I am sure. Once he gets into that RZR, he could probably run cirlces around those friends! Hugs to you both, and let's hope that RZR will be used enough to warrant the purchase of the toy hauler. They are such amazing RVs! I don't suppose Hommie could wheel his chair up the ramp of the 'garage' and make it though the door to the living quarters, eh? Before the RZR gets put in, I mean. Perhaps widening the door to the house part would be cheaper than installing a lift/ramp for the front door?
Holy cow---I am SURE you have both considered every possible way to utilize the ramp---what am I thinking. Let's hope some enterprising company can come up with a plan for you! Keep us posted! We miss your usual banter on here, for sure.
