Thirsty Thursday..Aaaah Morning All.. Come sit a spell and drink up all the news.. Yeah....of course we have to now find Flamingo Cups LOL We got them Glasses...the table is getting so decorative.. LOL

Alas we heard from our Sistah (Echo) wooo hooo.. but boy after reading all what's happening.. Echo dear.. I dunno about that Head House Keeper.. Seems that you and Molly's Mom (Trudy) have got a heck of a job !!! We all hope that it will get better !!! By the sounds of both of your jobs I don't think many of us could last either..Take care and keep us posted when ya can... Not always is Work Kamping Jobs easy ..that's for sure.

RetiredHappy (Karen) and Carold (Carol and Bill ) did some neat touring.. Cemeteries..yes, you read correctly.. You can learn a lot from cemeteries.. about the town's people and how some really get into decorating.. and awesome Head Stones. Infact some of the details of how, when and where alway amazed me. OH and Karen.. yep! I did see that Flamingo.. and after reading that Bob fixed ya all some BBQ .. oooooh I got hungry .. LOL

NaSoosie (Soos) brightened up our day with some neat photos..and where she lives looks like everyday could be a photo ..Enjoyed them Soos ! Now only a few more weeks of school and I can't wait to see what you do next ..

Cedar.. you will be heading out this weekend with Video Cam ready and burn some great events... Ok.. your turn.. were gonna be all eyes here.. and I'm sure we'll be wanting to tag along..

Bluepinecones (Blue) That's some head of hair picture shot.. and it's a good deed you done, I did that with my hair too.. I had not heard of Locks of Love before as it had been almost 17 years before I had my hair cut.. Yes, you all heard me correctly.. My hubby would just cut a few inches off.. you know the kind of hair cut.. straight across..although sometimes it never ended that way LOL.. but I went and had my hair chopped off and the gal asked me if I would donate.. Sure why not.. if someone could use my MOP.. LOL but it truly is a great cause..and for those that crochet or knit .. the Cancer Hospitals are always looking for hats to be done or afghans.. So if any of you care too.. Blue, you did good !!

Fernie.. so your are just chillin by the campfire.. LOL I hear ya.. and I think the bone spurrs are a thing with a lot of people.. it seems that's one of those.. Gotcha thingy... everyone I hear from has them or have had them.. and duh.. Why Me LOL Good seeing you post.. and how's the TV it better get wheels cause Fernie you can only stay in one spot for so long and sheeeeeeeee's gone !!!

Asirimarco.. (Carol and Bill) Carol we're all anxious to see Bill's Covered Wall hangin.. bet it's gonna be amazing.. Men love their work shop area.. it's that guy thing again.. and so proud they are of it too..My brothers are big into working in their "Place".. come out with some mighty fine surprises.. and they cook too !! Glad to hear you had some good weather !

Mitch.. we had that surprise storm roll in here yesterday afternoon.. had plans of lighting up the grill.. but got Burger King (yuck) instead..wasn't a good thing....and by your dinner guess you had the same results LOL.. and as far as the pipes in the pool.. I always worry too about freezing.. and even in the area here the people that do work today.. makes no difference.. there almost about all the same.. strange characters.. and ya always hope for the best !! Good luck in your patch job !!

As for Belle.. Yes, she has a "New" home and we can't wait for her pictures to show up !!

Ok, I'm getting that call of the Coffee Pot and it is time.. I need to get my FIX.. so hope all of you have a gooder to tell.. cause we is always anxious to hear from everyone of you ! Table is set and Coffee Pot is perking .. Kettle is Whistlin .. ooh yeah.. Pitcher of Oj freshly squeezed (via Minute Made ) and Cola is chilled to perfection.. LOL Goodies.. aaaaaah yes, have a few.. Biscotti.. English Muffins Toasted .. Bagel with Creamcheese..and a big Apple Struddel... Join me won't cha !

Good morning Zeee! This is a first for me, is everybody sleeping in this morning? It's a very beautiful morning here in San Miguel, kind of warm mid-day, but nice again when afternoon clouds and maybe rain blow in. We are facing west with several sky lights so rooms can get quite warm for several hours. Nights down into the 50s, so perfect sleeping, even with a toddler!

No baby duty for me until afternoon, I am heading out for a long walk exploring and maybe shopping. Shops are kinda hidden, no signs on the street, requires looking into door ways to see what's in each shop!

Yesterday our housekeeper/nanny cooked 'squash blossoms' for us, they were so good with fresh tortillas, black beans, and avocado.
A young boy was selling them on the street. Another man comes by often with the best figs. Those are a treat as I am missing my Dad's first crop at home!

Good morning all...
I am posting from DD's OT appt. She had a early appt and then we will head home for a few hours..to get everything ready for the weekend. We will keep the trailer at the campground, as it is closer to the Highland Games then our house is. It will be nice to come back to the pool..if the hot weather sticks around. They say it is going to cool off a bit. I just hope the rain holds off

Then we will bring the trailer home Sun night or Mon morning. It will get a good cleaning and some stuff will come out for our big trip. I really only want to bring what we will need. I do not want to haul extras. Sometimes it is hard to figure out what one may use or not use.

Later today I am going to work on some of the modifications. Add the extra hooks for hanging up jackets and such. Then I think I am going to get one of those wooden shelves that fold down. With baskets for the toys. I think that will work well and can easily be stored on the spare bunk when we are traveling.

Gooooood Afternoon Sistahs!!!!

Yep it's only afternoon, at least I made it before the evening! I've been doing some reading trying to catch up at least a teeny tiny bit. Boy between Soos and Liz there sure are some beautiful pics on here. Just took my breath away. I have to admit tho that the pic of the lilacs had me going. I love lilacs and they were one of Mom's faves too. As to the trip north, someday Kelly and I will get there!

Yeah I was on a rant yesterday!!! Dang so called "head housekeeper"!! Today was her day to get into trouble. She has 2 large boxers that she has asked for permission to bring up to live with her. She was told no as they were to big and 2 of them. Well she asked for permission to bring them up for a visit? Visit was kool but that she was to take them home the next day. She didn't, they've been here 3 days longer than they should have been. They got out today and went next door to the campground and were attacking dogs over there and fighting. The owners of the Lodge are also running the CG next door and the one down the road called Jacob Lake. One of the employees here in the Lodge also fills in 2 days a week at the CG as host. He came over to get the owner and asked him what he wanted him to do about the dogs? From what I was told the owner got really ticked off and told him to get her and take her to get the dogs. That will be the last visit. I am not laughing or even gloating over this in any way, shape or form. That's how ya get yourself in trouble. By being smug!!!

Kelly and I really like it here. With the exception of the "head housekeeper" and one of the wait staff having an attitude the other employees are super. Even Sparkle, but then again everyone takes turns trying to hold her down!!! The bosses are awesome, Ellen and Chris are the nicest people and super great to work for. I don't think that there isn't a job that Chris can't turn his hand to. He does maintenance of course, mechanical, grounds keeping, he's filled in doing dishes in the kitchen, he cleans a good room and makes a mean bed. He is very definitely a jack of all trades. He's kinda a sexy little devil too. Reminds me of a gray haired Sam Elliot only younger. Kelly thinks he's a hottie, I just think he's to young!!! LOL Ellen is a sweetie, her domain is the kitchen. And by goodness she can make a mean pot of soup. Only one soup she's come up with that I didn't care for was "Lemony Rosemary Potato Soup", nope not for me! I think it was the lemony part. But she did make a pot of the very first Minestrone Soup I have ever liked and finished. And she made a Beer & Cheddar Cheese Mushroom soup that was to die for. OH YUM I do admit to still be waiting to get up to speed on doing my rooms/cabins. Some days it's not to bad, other days it about whoops the tar out of me. But I have gotten a whole lot better than what I was when we first started. I can make it thru cleaning a whole room now without feeling like dying or like an elephant was sitting on my chest. But I think it will all be good in the long run as soon as the head housekeeper can get a grip. I really don't want any fussing or feuding over the summer. I would much rather get along with everyone. Life just seems kinda sweeter that way.

Ok gonna jump off here, go back up to the trailer and see how Kelly is doing. She was watching the neighbors young son for a bit. Mom's name is Linda and she is one of the morning cooks and Dad's name is Steve he is doing CG hosting today. Normally the boy is with Dad at the CG but he was getting cranky today and when he stayed with Kelly for a little bit when it came time to go back with Dad he pitched a fit and wanted to stay with Kelly. LOL Think Kelly might have a new boyfriend. Got to watch her with those younger men!!! LOL
