Here's Monday....Morning To All ! Yep, it's rolled around again .. and as I watched the last of Jay Leno on Friday Night and the Weekend whizzed by.. I did nothing, absolutely nothing..well other than make meals and watch movies.. oooooooh yeah.. this was one of those..MY TIMES..and a Quiet Weekend to MYSELF..it was wonderful.. although critters were up before the break of dawn.. I got up.. let them out..cleaned up and went back to bed..aaaaaaaah haven't done that in so long..and it was a much needed thing to do.. I feel like well, Lazy hahahahaha.. But I see by the looks of it.. the Ididaroad Gang checked in..

Liz, Carolinagal and Beth...so good to hear from you and see all what you have been up too.. Have to tell ya.. I'm JEALOUS !!! but I'm so enjoying and so is everyone else.. Magnificent pictures and to hear that water stream..uh, about the Bears.. as soon as I saw 3 BEARS I though of Goldie Locks.. !!!! hahahaha but I heard the mans voice in the video.. guess he was ready to start running hahahahaha..just awesome you all ..no other words can explain it..it was refreshing listening to that water fall.. gosh..the sounds of crisp clear water (I bet) oh and the Snow...even snuck in throw or two ..:) and last but not least the campfire..Good having the men along.. Gather that wood guys !!! as for the walkie talkies..yeah it's definitely a Man thing !!! As for me.. I couldn't be with out it.. I'd be just a yacking away.. Look at that.. wow look over there...hahahahaha..

NaSoosie.. (Soos) my oh my.. great shots and video too.. and was that snow flakes I saw in the last video..eeeeeww I do remember my very early years when my girlfriend and her parents would go up to the Adirondacks.. I went one time with them and it was like a resort.. (almost like the movie Dirty Dancing LOL but not that kind) they had games and swimming and all would gather in the dinning room breakfast and dinner.. was neat.. and very different for me..(as a child) ... but boy Soos you are busy busy.. Can't wait to hear what you do with that Sphere you have.. looks interesting just sitting there..

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill) The house has a story to tell.. and I can see by the looks of it.. You'll have lots of company..better start charing admission LOL. All of us just love how it sets in.. and gosh I can only imagine all the work you two have put into it...It's a beauty.. expect to see it in Homes and Gardens.. with lots of rigs parked around LOL and I too when I had my flowers growing would talk to them.. More like.. Why did I do this LOL.. it was sure pretty but what a job.. Carold does your hubby speak Italian.. ???? to the plants  .. only joking with you.. but it's really a beauty.. God Bless!

Campfire it going strong.. check in and do some virtual sipping LOL yeah Carold (Carol and Bob) can't wait to see your
Flamingo Wine Glass :) and Birdbybird (Tina).. it is sad when the babies leave home (critters) but at least you know they are going to great homes.. and by the way.. about the heel thingy.. been there.. had a big spur on mine and had those exercises (didn't go the surgery route) and yep it took awhile..but it surely did help.. I have been wearing those open back shoes by Dr Shol's (sp)..ya all know who I mean I'm sure.

Avalen (Ava) have to tell you I read that "ice cream" recipe and passed it on to hubby.. I do believe in a few weeks he's going to have the kids in Sunday school make some up.. as they will have a picnic soon.. Will be lots of fun for the kids to enjoy.. and pssttt.. I'm gonna do it too !!

Also check out the info that Sharon from Ca put up.. a GTG on the Left Coast.. Sharon.. You are such an up beat gal it's always a joy to read what you write.. I remember the first time I got to meet you on line.. my first go at an RV Group.. you were the first one to be willing to meet up with me if I was going to Quartzite.. You did impress me.. at your willingness to go that extra mile or two.. I sure wish I could make it.. but yep, me too will be in spirit.. and I can only imagine what the meeting will be like.. Lots of laughs for sure...oh and Adventure...Big Time.. by the way.. I loved your pictures from Alaska.. in fact I think I still have a few.. you is a big fisherwoman LOL that was some catch :)..

Cedar.. I want to thank you for your help in my questions on NetFlix.. Yep I done watched 2 movies.. Set up the hubby's laptop on the snack table leaned back in the recliner and clicked and enjoyed.. LOL I see why you like Netflix ..:) it was a good thing !! Psssttt... Are you thinking of a "new rig".. I mean you got us all wondering.. All keep an eye on Cedar.. she's got some things in the working.. :) We're watching ya Cedar :)

Reading about the State Parks starting to close down is sad.. and ya wonder why.. maybe if they cut out some of the other nonsense that they have going.. they'd be able to keep them open..those parks are a joy to people who can't afford a lot of those RV parks..families that have children and let all of them enjoy nature instead of TV..get active in their lives.. how really sad..

Well, I want to keep this upbeat.. we have enough depressing things that happen which sometimes we have no control over.. let's enjoy the moment of reading good things.. That's something I've tried to do with my column.. Keep it Simple and Lite.. and so you all could have your cuppa in the morning and smile.. so.. forget that last paragraph.. and let's have a cuppa or glass of.. what ever your pleasure is..

For all that I've missed, remember there is always tomorrow.. and I'll catch ya.. all of ya !

Coffee is Perking ...Kettle is a Whistlin' and the Pitcher of OJ is on the Table.. in the Frig are the cold ones.. help yourself.. pull up a chair and sit a spell.. time to "Spill the Beans" as they say... I have a fresh pan of biscuits coming out of the oven and have some blackberry or plum jam.. Have a Johnny Cake to cut and yep I can even toast it if ya like.. Apple pockets too.. You are all welcomed to my table..

May your Adventures be Great ones and your Journey be a Safe one too..!

God Bless
Zeee

PS.. for those MIA's (missing in action people) please when ya get a chance post and tell us how you are doing.. Just cause we care.. and for those Newbies, well ya all know how I feel.. We'd like to meet ya..:)

Gee----I sure need a cup of coffee this morning!! I'm looking for some goodies too. I have been busy all weekend. We drove up to Fall Creek Falls Saturday and had lunch at the buffet. We also picked up a book on East Tn. backroads. Bash got a new John Deere mower so we picked it up Friday after she got her car out of the garage for some brake work. We have to have her car to pull the trailer to pick up the Deere!! She mowed Friday night till she ran out of gas. She had never used a riding mower till she came down here and she thinks it is fun!! I enjoy mowing too---got a nice view here!! I trimmed some branches so they don't slap you in the face while she mowed so I'm gonna have a real little campfire one of these days here!! We can burn here in the summer without a permit unless it is really dry.

They are to deliver a new 42 inch tv Wed. so I have to put together a new tv stand. Mine will just hold a 32 inch. Don't know why Bash got tired of watching my old 19 inch tv that is 25 years old and the color goes flakey every once in a while!! HA HA.. I watch the news, The Cubbies (man they are doing awfull) and the Lady Vols Basketball and that is about it.

Thanks for the coffee and the goodies Barbzeee. Tobey is wanting out and he is the boss around here!!!

Good morning.....only a Diet Coke for me and some toast! Fernie, that's funny about the television. Our big screen has been an RCA that we bought in 1978....25". It was upstairs in "Ron's" getaway. Never had a bit of trouble with it. It was like the Energizer Bunny....kept going and going, and finally out the front door when someone just bought it for $40! Then downstairs we have a little 20". Me thinks that some of our friends would make fun of us and our big screen and lack of technology!! In fact, I know they did!! But.....that's ok!! I still love 'em.

I hope everyone woke up to the beautiful sun like we did....happy day to all.

Good morning to everyone. It's sunny but cool out this a.m. but supposed to get up to 86 today and humid. ICK Maybe showers later.
Been busy doing nothing over the weekend. Bill has been out in his workshop working on a wood piece for the deck wall of a covered bridge. Its looking good. I took the same pattern and am doing a material wall hanging. Need to get back working on the stained glass but unless I'm in the mood its not a good idea. We have a guy coming Thursday to set up the fish pond so it will be ecologically sound and we won't have to worry about cleaning it. Hope it works.
Ummm I smell bacon.

Morning all. My computer is doing some updates, then I'm packing up to pull out. Wanted to stop in the Coffee Room and say a quick hi before I'm on the road and who knows when will have a connection again.

Glad you're all enjoying our travels. Wish you all could be seeing this all in person - but so glad to be able to share.

Zeee, good to talk to you - glad we could catch up - and take care of that leg and get the other ready for #2.

Good Morning All
I have succeeded in wasting the morning, now to the afternoon.
Actually I just enjoyed my pot of coffee on the back porch this morning and repaired damage from chipmunks in plants again. Beautiful out there early today. Getting very hot, very fast now. Clear blue sky with lots of sunshine today but will be in mid-90s by days end. Some rain back in forecast by mid week but we will likely need a little by then.
My antique mall sales are still in a major slump. There was an article in Sunday paper about how the antiques world is coping with recession. Apparently a lot of the annual shows in the northeast are being cancelled and many shops/dealers are shutting down. Low end items are still selling but mid and higher end goods are just gathering dust. Patrons who normally buy those type items have lost so much in stock market, they have become more conservative in spending along with the rest of us. I'm hoping to hang in there until things turn around but who knows.
I see Belle has a new home for her trip to AK. A few photos, please. Maybe since Beth doesn't have a cat to endanger Belle, she will get to peek out a little more.
Have my last appointment this afternoon relative to adjustments on new hearing aids. Still getting more squeaky feedback than I'd like but not sure that can be overcome. As this is my first pair of hearing aids, am still learning about them. It has improved my ability to hear and I guess that is the most important thing to consider.
Wishing you a great day.

GOOD FIRST DAY OF JUNE!

Here's what the last day of May looked like last night after our snow and wind storms finally abated:

Image

I caught the sky just as the sun went down. There's was ice and snow on the grass by then, and my truck was covered with ice. Some people in the area lost power because the winds were pretty bad as that cold front swept through the area. The snowflakes looked like paper plates coming out of the sky at one point! By the time I grabbed my camera and caught the videos I posted, they had tamed down to just huge flakes. I am so hoping June will be a better month for doing stuff outside. May was very strange, to say the least.

This will be my last month of school for this year. It will be a busy month with all the book orders and supply orders that need to be sent out, not to mention the inventorying of each and every book. Classes are still using the library, too, amidst all the last minute chores to get done, as well.

Here's hoping the first day of June will be a good one for all of us. I forgot to say RABBITS again....talked to Molly first when she was trying to get me up after my alarm went off.

Good to see you back in the kitchen, Barb!
