Wet Friday ...Morning All... yeah by the looks of it.. A Beach Umbrella would do ! This morning I was busy, drying all 4 Critters.. don't cha just love wet fur !!! eeeeek!! Well, I have at least accomplished a few things.. Dry Critters and able to Log in.. I dunno some days are not so good... but I made it and now my Coffee Pot is going strong..as soon as I hear the Plop Plop.. Yep like the ole commercial Alka Seltzer.. it will be a relief
GetupNGo (Janice) I'm glad I made your day ! If all else fails pop in and check that video again.. It's such a good feeling to see how those loving critters tend to them babies.. Now as for the bucket.. (thank gawd) They come in handy in more ways that one .. Good to hear Bandit is coming along. Fingers crossed too that they can get all those parts you need in.. cause we're all gonna be in that shape too with our Rigs down the road.
NaSoosie (Soos) Thanks for the Lilacs and Mt Ash.. Love them Lilacs.. have a bunch along our fence.. and take cuttings for the table.. oooooh the fragrance.. my neighbor had sort of a pinkish shade bush and a white one.. oooh they are so pretty.. great pictures.. you live in a devine area with lots of goodies...I'd be taking pictures constantly.. and bunches of flowers on my table..oooooooh yeah ...
Lizzie (the Ididaroad Crew) posted a great picture now of the 5 of them.. Ready to truck on Up the Road..Cause Down the Road would mean they were coming South LOL (I know, I know)...now to hear how the rest goes...We're waiting
Avalen (Ava).. Like Pixie's hiding place.. she just wanted peace and quiet and her own space.. Cute Shot.. !!
Mtngal (Diana) asked about Surge Protectors.. Well I'm like Retiredhappy (Karen).. I go no where with out mine.. and I too saw what happened to a rig parked next to me.. lost all their goodies inside.. I was in (I call the capital of lightening world) Kissimme, Fl.. bad storm and the sky just glowed.. We lost power and he lost Microwave, TV, AC the whole shaaaaa bang.. just with one big surge... It was worth the bucks.. even though I reluctantly bought it.. and that was many many moons ago.. Now, I make sure it is functioning and watch them lights when I plug it in..I can't think of what brand mine is.. but I got it from my RV dealer...and no it wasn't cheap but I look at it this way.. Cost Effectively !
SeeyaGal.. (Jenny and Dan) good to see you post.. Know you are busy with family but we sure miss all your interesting goodies and pictures too..
Ok, looks like all are either driving or hiding.. don't blame ya.. cause sure hope it's dry in your area.. the East Coast is kind of drinking a lot lately.. and it's not a Cold Brew..Hear there is a Storm out on the ocean.. geeez wish it would stop splashing..
Alrighty.. so if ya all don't mind.. Stop in and say Hey, What's happening.. cause other wise I might have to do Blog Blog Blog.. LOL Oh, you don't know that .. well use to be Blah Blah Blah.. but since just about everyone has gone state of the art.. it's now Twitter or Blogger.. take your pick... hmmmmm maybe I'll do a Blogger with Coffee.. hahahahaha
Table is set.. pull up a Bloggin chair.. and join in.. You know we always have somethin Cookin.. speakin of which I'm making some Stromboli for tonight.. It's movie time and get this NO COMPANY.. woooooooo hoooooooooo..

Good morning - so glad to see you back. Yes I know its been awhile but we just got back on line yesterday afternoon. Finally got the satellite dish installed on the roof of the house. Could no longer pick up a signal from the motorhome as too many leaves on the trees, and weather has been to bad - UGLY! Will have to spend time today catching up with everyone. (Yesterday caught up on all the bills etc. - thinking about going back to paper and pencil - at least it is there. when you want it)
Today we are not supposed to get rain! Heres the view off the back deck.
The mist is burning off quickly.
Good day to all.

It is a lovely cool morning here 58 when I took Charley out around 6:30. What's with the phase of the moon, I've been waking up almost every two hours the last couple of nights and so has my neighbor.
Zeee and I seem to be in a dog clean up mode. So far though other than finally getting up at four to find Winnie had missed her paper and having to clean up a mess before dawn... it's going better than yesterday morning. I kept thinking it was Friday and missed a nine o'clock appointment.
Carol glad you finally got connected!

good morning ladies
what a beautiful view Carol, I'd be sitting with binoculars in hand scouting the
trees for birds.
Its gonna be another hot one today so will get my yard stuff done early and
close of the rv so the ac can do its thing. Then, I need to run to the library
to use the computer so I can print off a job application and stop by Home
Depot and pick up a few pieces to get the dripper system going on my flowers.
After that I'll sit and vegetate under the ac.
Have a great day

Morning....yep, sure did rain here last night...
The free standing screen room had water in the top....yuck!!
anyways, now my broom is standing up on the picnic table helping to drain it.....I hear chain saws and motors, so am assuming some limbs or trees are down in the CG.....still in my PJs, so will check it out later.....But, the sun is out and the weather man says it is to be warm and dry today....
Okay, got to get ready to go do some shopping.....usual stuff we do on payday....
Have a good one, All!!!

Good morning.
Dry here for a change. In fact we are to have a great weather weekend - no rain for several days. I'm excited just to see sunshine.
Not sure what I'll do with my day or weekend for that matter but some of it will be outside for sure.
Wishing all a safe and dry day.

Home, I still am---after getting dressed and feeling so very dizzy still, I called in sick and went back to bed. This time I forced myself to lie down, dizzy, or not, and have been asleep ever since. Last night I tried to sleep half-sitting up in a recliner---no go! Heart rate is back to normal. I really hate how being so dizzy raises havoc with my mind as well as my body. Being disoriented in space is NO FUN, and causes me to panic. I may still try to see doc today, but probably not. I suspect this head/chest cold I have been struggling with for over a week now is what's causing those inner ear balance organs to go haywire again.
I just lost a huge amount of typing/words to cyberspace, and I don't have the time to redo the whole darned thing----makes me so mad to have lost it all like that. It was questions about surge protectors. If anyone can show a pic of one they use, or how you use it, or where you install it, I would be very happy to see it. In the meantime, I will go online to see if I can find out what on earth you are all talking about, as we have thunderstorms here regularly, too. I have plug-in interior surge protectors, but the microwave doesn't plug into that one, nor the furnace, etc....just my TVs and any other electrical things.
Hope you all are up and moving around now, and will check in with us sometime today.
Hope rain keeps on and off today so I won't feel guilty about lolling around the house here!
Regards to the Ididaroad caravaners...hoping for more pics later on!
Thanks for the coffee, Barb, and for being back! Hope you are healing well and fast.
Off I go to Google to check on surge protectors.

Soos, how's your blood pressure? Last time I was dizzy, I was having a stroke (age 40 - bp of 220/180). I now take 'dizzy' very seriously...
Here's a pic of an RV surge protector (portable). For $200+, what can be done to keep them from walking away?
There are also ones that are hard-wired (slightly cheaper). And much cheaper ones that have about half the joule (500+) rating as this expensive one (1000+), and it (the cheaper one) doesn't reset automatically after a 'fault', and doesn't work for low voltage, only high.

OMIGAWD, Mitch! My blood pressure is nowhere near that high! It was 140 over 90 this morning, with rapid heartbeat, but is now 110 over 80, with SLOW heartbeat! That's after some sleep and blowing a lot of stuff from my head to relieve the dizziness! I was diagnosed with Labyrinthitis about two years ago, had an MRI to rule out stroke or brain tumor, and, although nobody knows what causes vertigo/diziness with no visible clues, they call it Labyrinthitis---inflamation of inner ear and balance disturbances. Some docs call it Meniere's Disease. Some just shake their heads (which makes me get dizzier!) It just make me panic when I feel so disoriented, which in turn, I KNOW makes me panic. I just need to calm myself down and rest when it happens. I, too, take dizziness seriously---sometimes too seriously! Being alone in the middle of the night doesn't help much, either. Glad you had a good outcome with your stroke. Are you on BP meds now? I have been on them all my adult life.
I just printed out the same surge protector you showed in your post...but the cost says 304.00----still a bargain, compared to what a surge could do to all my electronic stuff in the trailer! Glad to see I found the same one you have! I will check for lower prices elsewhere for the same model....this is with free shipping and no sales tax.
Thanks for the picture and info.

Mitch, The Magic Question .. "What keeps it from walking away " ... mmmm I've had mine a long time.. and where ever I was parked to be plugged in.. both Dog Shows and RV parks.. I've never had it taken. However, that doesn't mean that it won't.. I know I'm no help.. Any time I've ever had anything taken, it was when my Rig was sent out to be serviced..ie paint shop, and my dealer graciously replaced what was taken.. been going to him for 25 years.
Soos, you need to go to a Dr. I had walkin pneumonia and thought I was just exhausted .. a little weak and dizzy..had just a mild cold (I thought) please take care.. Not to mention all the mowing you just did.. I know you are like SuperWoman..but be serious and get your butt to Dr.. Play it Safe !!
Ok, I've been making dough (the hard way..Bread Maker) for Stromboli.. making two kinds.. Cheese and Pepperoni and Cheese Steak and Onions.. Wish you all could join me.. it's a Goooder.. ah gotta love that dear Martha LOL..
Have a Great Weekend.. and Soos, I'll be peeking in to see if you went !! The birds will tell me
God Bless
Zeee

Here's a link to a lock hasp to keep the surge thingy in place---how it works, they don't show, but it might be worth it to get one if you go to campgrounds with lots of greedy people looking for 'freebies'.
(I suspect all of these posts should be in techy thread...sorry about morning coffee talk being slightly askew today! Good thing I don't usually stay at home all day and just do this stuff!)

From now on, I'll post all surge stuff to the techy forum on here....sorry!

It is wonderful sunny day.
I have internet today, as we are at homeschool co-op classes.
Yesterday I had a wonderful day, with my mom, sister and aunts in Seattle. We...Rode "The Duck". It is a converted WW2 vehicle, that takes you on a tour through Seattle via land and water.
Then it was back home, for a BBQ with friends. Then back to the campground. I will try and get a picture of our site. We are camping with friends that fulltime..so we are back to back. We will be here for the week.

Oh Soos, I know how feeling dizzy can panic you. Several years ago I came down with an inner ear infection and was down for almost a month. Being dizzy made me sick to my stomach and couldn't even keep water down. They kept trying antibiotics which did nothing. Finally a doctor gave me some pills JUST for the dizziness and I slowly got better. Can't remember what the med was but it was something they also give to people with migraines. I carried those pills with me everywhere for almost a year JUST IN CASE.
I bought the lock thingy for my surge protector - they're expensive and easy to steal. I chose the one that wasn't hardwired because IF you get hit it burns out the surge protector rather than your rig and would then need to be replaced. Still cheaper than the repair bill I had when I didn't have one.
