SUNDAY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING, Y'ALL!

It's much warmer here this morning---about 54 degrees----and a tad of rain is filtering down from the clouds. Yesterday turned out perfectly beautiful, with no predicted thundershowers happening at all. I am hoping the rest of you are having as nice a weekend as we are here. It sounds as if FL is still getting rain, in many areas, and it looks as if the shuttle will have to land at Edward's Air Base again this time. My son and Melissa did go to Deland to their cabin getaway, and when I talked with them last night they had had no rain! Weldon was out-fishing everyone at the camp, according to Melissa....people were flocking over to him to see what he was using for bait! They have to realize he has been fishing almost as soon as he began walking(running between pieces of furniture with his hockey helmet I bought for him to protect his developing brain! , which was at 7 months old! And now, he has a profession that is paying him to do what he would pay somebody else to do....FISH!!

I'll be going over the mountain to check on my cat again this morning, then back for some relaxation before the pig roast tonight. Coffee is Hazlenut Creme, with French vanilla creamer. I'll be checking back in throughout the day .....let us know what's up wherever you may be!

I will put flags on the graves of my father and my father-in-law, whose service stones and some ashes are in my family graveyard on my property.

Well it is another wonderful day here in the PNW.
My Aunt called wanting to know what to pack for Seattle on Thursday. I told her if the forecast holds...sunscreen and sun glasses will be needed. I am looking forward to getting a "kid free" day...not the entire day, but hey with 5 kids 4 at home and busy. I take what I can get when I get it. I will be going to Seattle on Thursday to meet up with my mom, sister, 2 aunts and Uncle as their Cruise Ship pulls into port for the day. It was suppose to be 7 day Mexican Rivera, but with the swine flu outbreak the ports of call changed..to San Fran, Seattle and Victoria. So I am so happy that the weather out look is looking so great.

For today...well we are going to do some trailer work getting it ready for the annual first trip of the season at the local resort. Do a little yard work.

DS 12 is having is 1/2 Birthday Party . His Birthday is right before Thanksgiving..so it is really hard to plan a party with friends. He has always wanted to have a backyard camping theme birthday...and here in the PNW...doing that in late Nov...just doesn't work out. So we told him we would do it at the 1/2 way point. Which brought us to this weekend. Around 4pm boys will start arriving...for a BBQ, set up their tents, then it is down to the rec center for a game of pickup baseball. Then back home for pizza and movie Open Season 2. We will set up a TV outside for them under the awning and warn the neighbors. DS says they might even be really brave and just all sleep under the stars on the trampoline.

keeping Barb in prayers of continued healing.
