It's Saturday.....barely!!

Good Morning!! I'm still awake and decided to drop by the kitchen and get the table set, coffee ready to go, and ice down the Diet Cokes. I suspect some of the gals will drop some food by later. Has anyone heard from Barbzee or at least gotten an update?
Here in Middle Tennesse weather predictions for today are some sun and some showers!! Maybe we'll get the showers Saturday night so those traveling or planning outdoor activities during the day can do so in the sun!! I hope that all of you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We usually try and have a pool party to get the season started; however, this weekend Ron and I will still be packing and working. We should hear about the appraisal on Tuesday and I certainly hope all is well because we've packed many boxes and sold much furniture and household items!!

GOOD MORNING LOTUS and all!!
I, too, am thinking of Barbzee and wondering about her progress on her road to regaining her mobility.
It says it's only 39 out there this morning, but, with my furnace on, it's nice and toasty in here. Coffee tastes extra good this morning! The sky is clear, so far, so Molly and I will go for a walk to the flume and take some more pictures as I did last year. And it's perfect bike-riding weather.
I cannot believe the pictures of flooded FL----it is a very serious situation. I hope those ofyou doewn here are you above water?? And did I hear there is another storm brewing that might hit those same areas? I talked to my son in Orlando last night, and they are supposed to head out to DeLand today for their first vacation together....I am praying for their safety, if they can even go. The house in Orlando is still dry, in spite of the non-stop heavy rains...day after day after day.
Lots of things planned here for kids this weekend, including all kinds of runs and agility races and bike races and campfire s'mores and hayrides around the park. Tomorrow night is the pig roast feast, followed by DJ music and dancing----the teenagers look forward to this event every year. I am hoping some of my friends will show up with guitars in hand tonight so we can have our own sing-around-the fire.
I will look forward to reading your posts here today, and maybe seeing some pics, too. I am sending pics every day to the general forum, so, if you want to see where Molly and I are, go check it out! I'm hoping to find some of your stuff there, too!
FL people check in, for sure, please. The rest of you, have a super Saturday, and share your doings with all of us.

Good morning from the Ididaroad gals in SD. Beth, Carol, and I had a fun time yesterday touring Deadwood. Pictures will come...still catching up. The sun is up this morning and we'll be off to Wyoming later today.
It's a good day not to be in Florida! My neighbor tells me she's had to drain water off my pool, but as a rule my house does not have flooding problems.
Praying for you, Barbzee...hope you'll bounce back quickly.

Good morning from another wonderful SUNNY day in the PNW.
I did take a couple pictures this morning. Now that DS mowed the yard. I want to share the view from the front door. Usually I share this and people wonder why I go camping, being that we already live in the mountain, near the lake, etc. Well even though we live in the mountains we still have daily life and the rat race. We go camping to get away.
Well I hope this works....
Today we soon off as DD Mychal is in the parade and then the rest of us will go to the end and watch the parade. Then it will be off to drop her at church as she has a speaking part in the children's program tonight, so she has to be there by 2:45 for rehearsal's. Then two services at 4 and 6 pm. only a few more weeks and we will go down to one Saturday Night service. The 4pm service goes on Hiatus during the summer months.

Your busy life fascinates me, Jem! I remember those days when the schedules were non-stop all day long! It surely seems as if your kids are doing tons of great things, with their parents' help. I love hearing about it! I so miss those days, although, I must admit I did complain once in a while when my daughter's figure skating ice time had to be at 7:00 am Saturday mornings!
