Good morning! Can’t believe I am opening Morning Coffee!
Beautiful day here, but highs will be in the 90sthis week without a sign of rain. We’ve got some stray hound dogs hanging around our neighborhood. Yesterday I saw 2 adult hound dogs next door. I tried to approach one of them that abruptly stood up, took a stance, and growled, so I backed off and reported them to our office. They disappeared into the woods. This morning there is a puppy that looks just like the one that growled yesterday. He is still around and ate all the cat food I put out on the back porch for our feral cats. Haven’t seen the cats.

Leaving in a few minutes to take Bob to audiologist appointment,so will check back later. Beth, Isent you a pm.

Good Morning. Liz was glad to see you posting again. Sorry to read of Bob's health problems. Hope it remains manageable. You know we are all here for you if you need to talk or just need some support. Being a caregiver is a tough job. Whomever buys your Roadtrek is getting a good deal as I know it has been cared for 100%. So many of us are off the road now for various reasons. Since the fire I am pretty content at home but do miss camping but not enough to buy another RV. It is actually cheaper for me just to motel it if I want to go somewhere or stay with friends. Glad I traveled for work and play when I did because I have some wonderful memories of the people I met and the things I saw.
Judy all that driving sounds horrible to me LOL but am glad you had a good time. I was never a "marathon" driver. 200-250 miles was pretty much max for me when in the RV and towing my SUV. I can drive much longer if needed in the car but I still like my 4-6hrs max. Beth glad you made it to your little Casita. Hope your eyes are doing well. My eye doc is very happy with my eyes but still have to have the shots but now every 8 weeks. Since my cataract surgery I see so much better!!!! really better. I can even drive at night now if needed but I dont choose to. Decisions decisions to be made for several. I guess I would think differently if I was 30 years younger, but alas time marches on for all of us.

Martha getting ready to go camping and Barbie going on a road trip to meet a long time friend. Sheila sounds like a daunting job going thru all the keepsakes hidden around the house LOL

Today will finish unloading my bags of dirt from my car. Need to finish getting my raised beds ready for planting. Another couple of weeks and we should be good to plant. We are having really nice weather, low 70's my kinda weather. Rain expected on Friday which I dont mind if we just get some sunny days in between ha ha

it was such a wasted day.... seems to happen after a busy day but I need to not let it happen as completely it was just one of those days where staying on the bed stretched out doing not so important things... being totally entertained by some of the reels on FB a couple of guys will see some reel and set out to see if it works... one today was melting a certain candy that I can't recall the name of it in a spoon till it's not sure the consistency not liquid but not solid either put some of it on the end of a metal straw and blow on it almost like seeing glass being blown then making lava lamps at least they were on the deck when it fell apart
doesn't take much to be entertained  oh and the reel where the dogs imitating the owners or whatever it might be that they were following... it was funny
cooked some salmon for supper tried a new recipe didn't pay attention and jelled the sauce pretty much black at least the salmon didn't take on the taste of burned
and then the tv was having issues still don't have the "local" stations
tomorrow I really must do something noteworthy I at least got the scriptures read
Liz good to hear from you as well as Karen
you all have a great day

Still cleaning and organizing. Did 3 loads of laundry and will do a couple more tomorrow. It's a smaller washer but works perfectly for my needs and my space to put things outside to dry is small so works out good. It always amazes me that usually everything out drying is done when the next load is washed and ready to take its place. Also went to Safeway and now have some edibles here.

TY just decided to go under the covers. It won't last as it's 76 degrees in here right now. Funny boy. I'm also enjoying him picking a different walk everyday. Eventually I suggest we head home and he does. There's one site he checks out every time, though. I haven't seen the couple yet, but they always give him treats. He hasn't given up.

I am settled into a non-hookup site on Lake Mead, after another long day. It was a real stretch to drive from Arizona to California to Oregon, then back through California to Las Vegas, and then tomorrow to Zion, but I don't get to see my son and his family, including my two grandkids, so it was worth it. However, I and my motorhome are getting older, and I don't want to focus on what "aches and pains" we are each having, so will work only on the positives.

A positive is that I got a good haircut today. The last three cuts have been too short on the back of my head, so this one made me happy. Also, enjoyed some double White Castle's for lunch, and a pastry from Tahachapi for breakfast this morning, plus I have finally caught up with my blog posting. I was behind about 5 postings, and just finished the last one.

Very hot here, but ran generator and AC until 10 pm, which is time we have to shut generators off, and it is going to be cool enough to sleep, I hope. Don't want to open windows because that will let bugs in! Another positive is that I solved one of the estate issues today--or at least I got an explanation that makes sense. i had to file an extension for myself and tax people filed one for estate. I need to track down some missing money--a 2021 tax refund that was sent to my aunt's closed bank account and maybe was returned to the IRS?? Plus, another check that someone tried to deposit, but was refused because obviously they close accounts after someone dies, and it took us several months to go through probate and open up an estate bank account. Also, some misplaced money--one investment company assumed that since I lived in Ohio, my aunt must live there, so they sent Ohio a prepayment for state taxes on one of her investments. So, we have to get it from Ohio and apply it to taxes in Georgia!!!! OK, I got into negatives again. Got to go to bed and read something pleasant for a change.

Hope you all have more positives than negatives this week!! :)
