Thursday evening

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday evening

First dentist appt done. 2 or more likely 3 more to come. Next Friday I'll have the remainder of this tooth extracted, get a your root canal and I think get a post placed. All will be followed by an appt getting a bridge. My alternative would have been the extraction, a root canal, a couple crowns and an implant. I went with the less expensive option. No charge for the exam, X-rays, etc today. I'm glad I can eat Christmas dinner before I'll probably be more limited in eating. Also glad that I don't have to wait longer.

Oh the way to Mexico I passed a caravan of cars and trucks all towing another car or truck heading through another customs area usually headed to Central America. I always like seeing them and was glad they weren't going in my direction though this morning. On the way home I made a Walmart stop. And there's today's excitement.

I didn't sleep much last night so I was tired when I got up. Also wasn't feeling too good. I have had a little sore throat and headache the past couple days. But I got ready to head over to the trailer. I stopped first at Home Depot and picked up some paint cards.

I checked the color of the paint cards with the walls and found one that is perfect, so I will pick up a quart of that tomorrow. Hopefully it will look like it is supposed to when I start painting. I got quite a bit of stuff done before leaving around 5pm. Tomorrow there is a Christmas golf cart parade in the park so I will probably stick around for that.

Am going to bed soon. I need to get a good night's sleep tonight. Just had some chili (can of Wendy's chili. Pretty good!).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I haven't posted much lately because of having company and now, after she left, catching up on laundry and cleaning. Plus I have been driving almost non-stop the last couple of days. Tonight, I washed a twin comforter, a load of sheets and towels, and some of my personal clothing. I am staying in a commercial campground which has front loading washers, so I wanted to take advantage of it with the comforter.

And boy, what a shock today!! Temps in Borrego Springs were in the low 70s most days, and now, that I am back almost to the Bay Area, it is cloudy with highs in the 50s. Going to be mostly the same for the next couple of weeks, so I will be glad to head south on the 30th!

And I am really worn out with the driving and laundry, plus I am trying to sort through all the stuff I have accumulated over the last few months and am trying to get rid of what I don't need. It is really too easy when you own an RV with so many storage compartments to just keep stuffing things in the nearest drawer or compartment. (Will NOT get rid of the 4 boxes of peppermint creams I got from Trader Joe's however! Got to maintain your priorities!)

I posted but guess I didn't look to see if someone popped in while I was typing... cause I'm not here  teach me for not taking the second to look
and here I'd said a lot will I remember it all not on your life
I like your priority's Judy
I got up and got mom to the bathroom had to push or pull her in her walker but did it then to breakfast which she ate well then the aide came and the nurse and the end results is mom has a catheter on morphine on regular schedule two of my daughter's a grandson and son in law came over and took out the side table lamp tossed stuff dd#2 is ruthless the couch is gone this chair is awful :? and I thought the couch was bad... have a hospital bed coming on Monday so pretty much ready for it with the exception of moving mom and her chair thought about taking her over to the respite which is at hospital but kids don't want me too and the home health that is here reminded me of how noisy and bright and intrusive a hospital can be... so wavering about it I was thinking of mom pretty much though... I will need to see what I can do when we move mom into the bed how to utilize better this other side table if that is the proper term..
I went through a basket of old bills and stuff pulled out the cards and pictures will let brother take them and see if they are needed if not to shred them...
they used the term actively dying not heard that one before... also said she could pass tonight tomorrow next week or weeks away I doubt that but she is as my brother says stubborn
it's a family trait I asked my cousin if her mom was stubborn she said you will find her picture next to the word...
Beth it sounds like lots of stuff to be done it will be good when done... I am considering implants but not sure when
Barbi sounds like you got a lot done
you all have a great day

Sheila, sounds like you are going through a extremely difficult time.

If I had any words that would help, I would definitely say them.

My best wishes to you.
