Good afternoon! Another cold, windy and gloomy day for me. My leaf guy still hasn’t been able to get back to finish up with the leaf cleanup because of this darn wind. Right now we’re just playing it by ear and hoping for a day with calmer winds. I know he wants to finish but at this point I’m just grateful for what he already hauled off. Little by little I can probably finish by bagging them and hauling in the back of my car. A few bags at a time. As I said the ongoing saga!
I’m having to go back to the start with Buddy and the treadmill. For some reason he’s decided he doesn’t want to go on it and walk. I’ve tried adjusting the speed and time but he’ll go just fine for a couple of minutes and then either just stop which stops the belt or he’ll try to jump off. So I’m back to leashing him and using treats…sparingly since I don’t want to have to feed him treats all the time. He definitely is stubborn.
Tina, how’s the possible puppy situation? Carol, so sorry about Bill’s setback. Hope the professionals are able to get him back to better health soon. Karen, hope you get to see the king tide. That sounds like quite an experience. My friend snowbirding at Myrtle Beach keeps bragging about the lovely weather they’re having. They’ve been trying for years to get me down there for a visit but don’t think it’s going to happen any time soon. My house isn’t that easy to walk away from in the winter. Plus the weather between here and there. There are times the snowstorms hit Virginia pretty hard and I don’t want to be trying to drive Lola on treated roads. At least with the car I can take it to the car wash and get the undercarriage cleaned off. Don’t have that option around here for the rv.
Well, time to get Buddy fed and think about what I’m going to have for dinner. And time to close the blinds, already dark. Keeps getting earlier and earlier. Hope you all have a good rest of your weekend.
