Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Morning. Cloudy here, 54°. Mid 70’s predicted for today. Red Flag Warning for fire danger in effect today. Fall color is starting to pop. Northern lights put on a show last night. Will be more yet for awhile. Into to 2025 at least. Two of my neighbors who have never seen them before were thrilled.

Neighbors who have place in FL are leaving this afternoon to go down. Unexpected turn of events. They had been in touch with some of the people who stayed through Milton in the park and it sounded like all was well. But then they got a picture of their place and the fascia at peak of roof was torn off, leaving the area exposed. Not a biggie deal, but needs to get enclosed before water can get in. So they are packing and taking care of last minute stuff here. Will leave this afternoon. I’ll get with them when they get back from town in a little while to go over last minute information or whatever. They were’t going to leave for a couple more week originally. Still leaves that will need picking up, driveway markers put out for winter etc., but I’ve been doing that for past couple years anyway.

Gas company came door to door in the neighborhood late yesterday, To inform us that we will have a disruption of service next week Thursday. They need to shut off the gas to do some Maintenance. 9-5 they is said. So that means no heat and for any with a gas stove, no cooling king either. Right now weather looks to be sunny and around 60 for that day. Once gas is back on, they will come around and relight all pilot lights and make sure gas is flowing properly. So I will be puttering around here all day. Don’t want leave because I need to be here for them to access house to relight my furnace and HW tank and then let them into neighbors house to do same.

Irmi and Liz, glad all’s okay at your places. Safe travels home Irmi and Steve. Beth, safe travels to you too as you head for TX. Glad you got the RV Winterized. Barbie, sounds like you are settling u in to a routine now.

Not sure wha I am getting into today. Cleaned up the property again yesterday, so that’s done till more leaves come down. Was thinking of servicing tractor, but not really in mood, unless I change my mind. Need to run vac, but first need to get washed up, dressed for the day and ash my hair as well. Then will go from there. Have a nice day all.

My goodness everyone must be busy today. I'm pretty organized. I have 5 boxes I want to take to Texas of a set of Christmas items I haven't displayed since I went fulltime. I might just display them all winter this year if they'll fit where I think they will. So they are already in the car. Lol I'm intending on getting on the road at 11 or so tomorrow morning. Because I added an extra night (tomorrow) not being sure of having time to get out early for a longer drive, now even leaving at 11 might get me to my first stop early.

Not much action today. I went and picked up Frosty from the vet. The shop called and the truck was ready so when I picked up Frosty I went and got the keys and told them I would pick the truck up later or tomorrow. I have forgotten when they first changed the four sensors on the truck but I think they have now replaced all the ones they first put. At least they are under warrantee so far. My son brought me to pick up the truck later.

Frosty is not happy at all. He wants to go outside. I put him in the kennel in the house until all the cats came in tonight. It's going to be a fight to keep him in the house.

Safe travels Beth.

will be leaving tomorrow as well... safe travels Beth... doing some laundry before I go so that I don't have dirty clothes to take... so I tossed my hoodie in and now wishing that I hadn't chilled pretty sure it's the humidity that I'm not used to... it should be dry soon then get the other batch in the dryer...
been so on the go that I won't want to leave the house for days when I get home... better get milk and other stuff Monday so that I can stay "in" I am surprised we haven't met ourselves coming will be good to not be on the move ... but it will be a few days before that happens ... tomorrow on the way dd want's to go up Mt. hmmm can't think of the mt the one close to Seattle? well no so close but you all know what I mean then meeting Anita in Moses Lake she mentioned she was selling her Roomba I asked how much simply couldn't let it pass... so we will pick it up tomorrow as well ... not sure how far we will go hopefully at least Spokane but will see
I made my version of the tea/lemon aide that Starbucks makes and my dd buys... she said pretty close perhaps theirs isn't so lemon aide tasting so either it needs steeping more or they use probably a lemon aide mix not simply lemon aide spell check says lemonaide is wrong but the other looks wrong
we didn't see the norther lights think to much light pollution someone took a picture of them and put it on of the FB Yellowstone pages with my grandparents house in it replied back that it was a good picture of my grandparents house and of the Northern Lights....
maybe the dryer is through nope it's still going probably on of those that can tell if it's dry or not and keeps going if it's not dry as it's almost sounded like it was done a couple of times then starts up again...
you all have a great day

Sheila, I would love to see that photo of the barn with the northern lights! You should get a copy and have it framed!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
