Good morning all. Another beautiful sprig day is upon us here in Northern Michigan. Bit cloudy out there this morning, but will clear out and head into mid 7o’s. Currently it’s 51°. Yesterday was a gem of a day.
Karen, I’m surprised at your battery life too. Mine last a week like Beth said. I don’t want rechargeable either, because if they start to go down when I’m not where they can be charged. I carry a partial pack in my wallet all the time. I have a couple in my emergency go bag which I will change out periodically to keep them fresh. One word of advice, do not store batteries in your car. They can be affected by heat and cold both. It can ruin them or kill their battery life.
Martha, yes there are different outfits for different seasons, sports, activities etc.. I plan to change them out from time to time. I have to order the plans for some more. So far I have raincoats, and the Gardening buddies outfits outfits which were in the picture. 4th of July is on my order list as well as fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas, plus a few others in between. My plan is to leave them out at the entrance box till after New Years.
Shelia, not sure if your question about what I am planting referred to where my boy and girl are going or my flag pole flowerbed. Boy and girl are heading to our sub’s entrance raised flowerbed which will be planted with whatever gets put in there. My plan for the flagpole bed is, Asiatic Lily’s , Black-eyed Susan’s, Coneflowers, Shasta daises, Daylillies and Maybe a few annuals thrown in till the perennials get established. In fall I want to plant daffodil bulbs.
Had a bad accident involving one of the neighbors last night. They bought a new to them motorhome in FL this spring. For those who know MH’s, it’s a big Provost, looks to be about 40 footer. He has been working up by the roof doing something, using a long extension ladder which looked very dangerous. Last night he either fell fell from the ladder or it went out from under hm p, to their cement drive and suffered a bad head injury, from the information we have via two neighbors scanners at the moment. Had a mess of EMS, police, and two ambulances here. He was transported to our local hospital and then airlifted to Grand Rapids in southwest part of MI. Let’s just say he’s not well liked in the neighborhood, but nobody wish’s anything like that to happen. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other injuries either.
Nothing on my agenda as far as work is concerned today. Molly has 1 p.m. vet appt., so kind of cuts into the day. So will continue to finish up my wood cut uts and get them ready to go out.
Have a nic day wherever you are.
