Morning. Cloudy and 22°. The lake effect is finally over, left what looks like about another 4 inches behind last night. I will go out in a bit and crank up the blower. It’s supposed to be sunny later and it’s trying to come out. Supposed to head to mid 30’s. That will melt my drive down to bare blacktop once I clear it off.
Molly is sleeping out on the snow, Piper is wandering around out there. Shirl, to answer your question about getting them dry. The snow actually lays on top of them. Under that hair is fur, like goose down. So the snow lays on their hair. Once they come in, I just towel them off and they dry off pretty quick. I don’t know how many inches they brought in with them, though
Tina, enjoyed reading your commentary. I think you made a good decision to quit the scoring work. At our age, we should spend time enjoying what we really want to do. We don’t know how many years we have left. If there is something we want to do bad enough, we will find a way to do it. But I have decided that I have been to many places over the course of my life and if there are some that I don’t get to, so be it. The biggies on my bucket list are accomplished. I’m getting pretty content to just be home here and think of all the places that I have been and I am satisfied. If I feel like I want to get away for a little while, there’s is the UP. I think a lot of it is , I just don’t feel like driving long distances anymore. Now I train trip across the country wouldn’t be a bad idea. I’m glad the pool exercises and yoga are working well for you. We do need to keep moving.
I’m sitting here watching Sunday Morning news, talking about the affairs of the country and world. Lots of things to worry over, but we can’t dwell on them. Like Karen, I am going to make a change in my investment portfolio tomorrow. Want to sell a bank stock while it’s still good. I have never really been a fan of bank stocks. Have had a couple over the years, but no more. I’m glad that I pulled my accounts out of the bank a few years ago and moved to a credit union. I’ll decide where to reinvest from stock sale over the course of the week. Have a meeting with my financial advisor anyway on Friday.
So, I guess it’s time to get dressed and get out there and tackle that snow. I’ve been begging Molly to come in, but she doesn’t want to so… She will let me know when she’s ready. Have a nice day everyone. I’m sending this mess to you gals out East. I’ve been wondering about O’Sharon, too because we haven’t heard from her for a while.
