Winter Weather Advisory Sunday

Morning from the snowy 45th. Lake effect snow is coming down out there. Probably have about 6 inches by tomorrow morning. It’s 30°, but supposed to gradually drop as the cold air starts filtering in. So this will be a stay inside day. I keep hoping that maybe it will let up a little bit so I can take a run down and get the Sunday paper, but doesn’t look like it. When the lake affect kicks up like this, you can have a whiteout in a matter of seconds and you don’t wanna be out in it. It may only last a minute or two but nevertheless. Stayed home and watched Mass on TV.
O’Sharon, sorry about your snowblower. That happened to me once. Were you able to fix it? In my case I wound up buying a new snowblower because the one was a few years old and it was better just to get a new one. I do have to say though, reading your description of the snow going up and coming back down on top of you did make me laugh. i’m sure it wasn’t funny at the time, but when you look back at it Those of us who grew up in the north, probably remember how many times we’ve been bombarded by snowballs and heavens knows what else and having snow fall down our necks. I remember the years of coming in the house with wet gloves and everything else. Course now that I am a grown adult, I still get wet gloves and sometimes snow down my back lol: Hope your back gets to feeling better too. One little piece of advice from somebody who has some minor back issues, don’t hibernate too much. One has to keep moving around to keep those muscles moving.
Mission accomplished with the new patterns. I spent about three hours in the garage yesterday, tracing and cutting out those patterns. It was about 28° but I was dressed warm and I didn’t notice it until just about the time I was done. I could feel the cold starting to seep through just a little bit. They will be the last that I will be cutting out until later this winter probably. I don’t have any other patterns on order right now unless something strikes my fancy. I have a bunch of them already cut out and some that I want to give a facelifting to, so that will keep me busy. And also I have some things I want to do in my house as I mentioned before. The ones that I have been currently working on, I just vanished and a soon as they are dry I’m going to assemble them and then they will be done.
Martha, I hope your son does OK since hechecked himself out of the hospital. Glad you got your motorhome back. Is it all fixed now hopefully. Anne, I will send you some white Christmas pictures, soon as I have a chance to take some. It looks like we are going to have some pretty good snows later this week again too.
Lunch is on my mind so I guess I should get in there and get something fixed. Not sure what it’s going to be addressed yet but I’m kind of thinking possibly shrimp or some barbecue meatballs if it wasn’t for the snow I would run down and get the paper and also grab a couple slices of pizza.
So have a nice day everybody and those of you who are experiencing some cold that you normally don’t have, stay warm and safe
