Morning All, it’s sunny and 35° No special plans today. Have a couple loads of laundry to do and soup to put in the freezer. Safe travels to those on the road. Be safe

Sunny and 46° here at 9:45. Had 0.97 inches of rain yesterday. Always good to see. Still behind in rainfall.
Still very sad here. Tryi to support Mandy's sister as she grieves, along side us. Tough week.

Good morning gals!

Shirl, I think you are a month behind! It is December now!

Still laying in bed. Romeow has been a real pest this morning! I think he finally gave up and all is quiet now. I hope he eventually grows out of this "terrible two's" stage!

Time to get up and moving here, almost 10am. Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, I was trying to slow down time. I did it on purpose it had nothing to do with age. :P

Campground internet went out last night in the strong winds, so I had no service and no phone service until today when I drove out to a scenic viewpoint. Now catching up on all my messages, especially ones from hospital. They are releasing my aunt and she is afraid they are going to dump her off at some doorstep somewhere. I tried several times to call the hospital but was put on hold, so I suspect they were getting her ready to transport.

They are working on the internet service, so I hope they get it fixed soon. Can't even pay for my camp fees because that also is connected to internet.

Anyway, got some decorating and cleaning to do. More tomorrow.

Very chilly morning here today 30 with a high of 44 big whoop. But there is no wind so that is a plus. I had a few things I wanted to do outside but rethought that idea. Going to make a pot of spaghetti sauce and freeze some. That way it is easy to just throw some pasta in my Fasta Pasta microwave cooker (LOVE IT) easy peasy. Then going to swiffer the kitchen and kitchen dining area floors this morning. Then throw my bed linen in the wash. I lead such an exciting life.

Dont forget to watch the movie that was filmed where Anita lives now in one of my favorite cities Leavenworth WA. Cloudy with a Chance of Christmas on Lifetime channel. Judy hope you get your internet back in service. Shirl I was just happy it said it was Friday LOL I have to orient myself to day and time frequently. LOL

Just lost my post when I was going to add Karen popped in. Girl, 44 is a heat wave! :) It's 21 here. We had a couple more inches of snow Wednesday night and a bit more predicted this weekend. My week has not been productive for one reason or another!

Sheila, so nice of family to come help you with tasks! Sure wish you could get to Arizona to see how your breathing would improve. Beth, glad you are enjoying some downtime! Lyn, sorry your son is not doing well. Hugs.

Afternoon all. Cloudy, windy and 37°. Rain supposed to move in later followed by a cold front followed by some snow and getting very windy again. I’m getting tired of this rain followed by snow, because when the temperature changes rain to snow, the driveway and everything are wet and then it becomes a heavy wet p snow that clogs up the snowblower. Very frustrating and time-consuming. I had that issue yesterday with the snow that we had on Wednesday and last week. We are supposed to get about one to 3 inches and if that’s all that amounts to, it’s going to stay there if I find out that it’s wet again. I’ll be glad when we get to the point where we have just plain old fluffy snow. O’Sharon, we haven’t had that much snow actually. This past storm left about 3 inches at most and the one before that, about 4. Some places got as much as 24, depending on how the lake affect bands were moving around. But we lost all the snow until Wednesday. And even that melted down just a little bit. But hold onto your hat for a while, because you have more wind coming your way and there’s another storm following that one and it’s going to hit us tonight.

Was busy morning here. Dogs to groomers at 9 a.m., stop at Credit Union, then Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Tire place to get front tires aired up, Meijer for a few things and gas, donations off at Goodwill and back to get the dogs at 11:30. Whew! Groomer is about 3 miles east of Gaylord, Meijer is about a mile west of Gaylord and all the other stops are spread out between. So there was driving time in there too.

Once I got home I had lunch and then I moved my base of operations for my woodcraft cutting, from the garage into the basement for the winter. I am in my get things organized mood. Things are organized down there but I just want to change a few things. Need some new shop lights next time I go to Home Depot. I didn’t have that much time to monkey around at any of my stops this morning so we’ll do that next week. Got another woodcraft pattern on the board yesterday and now that one is ready to cut. I’m trying something different and that I am tracing the entire pattern on the board first and outlining the area that I have to cut with a red marker, so that I can follow along and not worry about maybe accidentally following a pencil mark in the wrong direction. But I’m going to do the other one first before I start cutting on anything. I’m making another set of those fence peekers for winter.

So just stopping by to say hi and I guess I will go and start chasing the second Pattern out. Trying to decide what I want for supper tonight because nothing sounds good.

I just checked and that movie will be on at 6 pm here in New Mexico. So now to decide whether to stay where I am or go another hour. I'm leaning towards staying. Either way I'll start out driving tomorrow in the rain. No biggie as it appears it'll lighten up as I go east.

Just prepared my lunch and have to share because someone didn't believe how full my fridge and freezer are. Freezer

Good evening. Feels like 10pm but it is just after 5. The early darkness really messes me up!

Will have to look for that movie tonight.

Got some housecleaning done but not as much as I wanted. I took a break and fell asleep on my bed for a couple hours. Still really tired from yesterday. Got up in time to go do 3 haircuts in the park (one family). I did get Romeow's claws trimmed. They were getting pretty long and very sharp! That sling I put him in works pretty well altho I need to modify it just a bit in the front so he can't reach around to bite me. :o He got some treats tho for putting up with it all. :D

Back to work for another 9 hour day. There will be 3 of us there for part of the day.

Need to find some dinner now before settling down to watch TV.

we didn't have snow today and I really didn't look to see what the temperature got to but didn't see the drips off the ice cycles....so thinking it didn't get too warm...
and a do nothing day decided that I was going to go through the Women's Worlds that mom skims I read and I've not gotten to them... as I read some times there are articles that makes me think of something someone mentioned... and that was the case today something someone said on here of course I don't remember the who or the what but I did associate it something on here...
mom sure seems to be more confused lately tonight was one of those times... and I don't think she is remembering as well... but it may just be me...
Anita my breathing is due to the high altitude so Q would be much better... :P perhaps my general attitude would be as well... sometimes I get kinda no lets change that really whiny this past couple weeks has been on of those... it would help if the siblings would call and see how mom is... to be honest one brother and my sister did call mom on Thanksgiving my sister doesn't call very often and I think mom was in one of her not quite with it moments she kept trying to give the phone to me and sister could quite figure it out they finally connected and had what sounded like a good visit.. It also have has to do with I'm thinking hearing she doesn't hear that great and won't get an aide...
I went out to get hot chocolate heard the tv go off and came in with my hot chocolate asked where the movie went and mom turned it off thinking I'd gone to my room.... the computer is out the lights are on so she isn't thinking things through... always anyway... but then we all don't always think things through... :(
Beth have a safe trip
everyone have a great day

I watched Cloudy with a Chance of Christmas and it was pretty good - didn't care for the main guy actor, tho. I swear I saw another movie a week or so ago that also looked like it was filmed in Leavenworth. Had even more outside shots than last night's. Can't remember the name. I've seen so many Hallmark, Lifetime and UP holiday movies, but this senior short-term memory thing lets me watch a movie I know I saw before, but don't remember most of it! I just like the excapism of a happy movie that doesn't have sex, violence, or offensive language! Yup! Little old lady here.

Man oh man. Is that what makes a "little old lady"?

If yes, then I am definitely there. I just can't handle all of the sex, violence and offensive language that passes for "entertainment" these days. I mean, who needs it?

I mostly just watch my favorite "channels" on YouTube, which are mostly about small-scale ranching and/or farming (aka "Homesteading".

I like what I like. 8-)

LOL, Beth!!!

Your refrigerator makes me think that you eat pretty much like I do: A king-size bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup right next to the big carton of lowfat cottage cheese.
