Morning All, Nicole has arrived on the island. It dark, gloomy and raining. Temps still in the 60’s but will drop to low 50’s and 40’s on Sunday. Think I waited a tad too long for the spinach seeds to germinate. Strawberries are going to sleep for the winter and hope they comeback next year. Snap peas and lettuce still growing. I have been trying to get supplies for an all year tree. Bought a 12” tree, too small. Now have 24” tree and having hard time finding snowmen 2-3”. I won’t change decorations with holidays but with seasons. Going to be recliner shopping on this rainy day. There are several things the local stores do not carry. Amazon delivery is great but they deliver after dark and I do not drive after dark. Porch friend would bring packages inside but I feel that is taking advantage. So having delivery to #1 daughters which is delivered by usps so I can take my time retrieving orders. I’m having Mongolian sp? Beef in crockpot, it’s like beef and broccoli. It calls for steak but I use stew meat, less expensive. That’s all folks. Be safe

Mornin' Shirl & all that follow~~~
Still being lazy here in Tucson but did visit some Grand Design friends that are work camping in Benson. Also have driven around looking at different properties around Tucson. Definately giving me a feel for what I would or would not like.
Temps have been chilly, at least for me. Haven't written shorts since I've been here. Always jeans and a sweatshirt, and a nice warm jacket that I bought at the Wind River Indian reservation a few years ago.
Have an appointment next week on the 17th for another diagnosis on the trailer, but I've also been hitting the dealers looking. Found a Lance I liked, except for the 12" step-up to the dinette. And a used Airstream that could be a maybe. Twin beds, so Punk could have his own bed.
Barbie, I may still have a spreadsheet that I made before I bought my first camper. It listed all the possible options available in RVs of any type (A, C, TT, 5ers). I could look to see if I still have it if interested.
Irmi, glad you & Steve are OK after the accident and hurricane! I think you don't need anymore excitement.
Well, guess I have been busy! Have a good day.

Good morning gals!
I finished the kitchen last night and went to bed fairly early. Slept good and woke up at 7:30am. Have a lot to do today so I need to get up soon!
As far as the corner bed in the Class C. I will do what I did in my TT. I put a twin airbed in there. Much lighter and easier to make. Plus that gave me room on one side for my books, water bottle, and a small plastic 3 drawer bin to hold small things in it. It worked out great! I put a 2 inch memory foam pad on top of the airbed for more comfort.
Irmi, I am glad you two didn't get hurt from your accident. Semis can do major damage and injury (or worse
!). You were very lucky.
Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning. Slept in until around 6:30 and now have had my coffee load, made my bed, put the laundry in the dryer, made a breakfast omelet, cleaned up the kitchen and put the garbage out....yay me. Sun is shining but it is cool out but we might warm up to 49 ha ha Wearing my sweats and a sweatshirt and just might be in them all day. I dont have anywhere to go today so might just be lazy.
Irmi so glad Nicole didnt do any damage in your neck of the woods. And sorry about the truck but good grief could have been so much worse for the truck, you and Steve. Shirl your dinner sounds very good. I am going to make my spaghetti sauce today and freeze most of it I think. Have the fixings for stir fry again so that might take precedence we shall see. I want to make lasagna from the one dish kitchen site again, as it was really good last time I made it. Got two meals out of it. Cheryl good luck on the slide and the searching for the perfect floor plan.
I better go tackle my cooking before I am out of the mood.

I need to get dressed and go to town. I have to get some more copies of the estate papers made since they are legal size. One of the Sugar Co-ops sent a check in Harold's name. I sent them all the papers last year but they said they didn't get them. It was a big legal size envelope and I didn't get it back.
This time they will have to sign for it.
I thought I would have to mow today since the local weather said we were going to have storms tonight. The weather channel says we won't have rain until Monday.
Cheryl, I have twin beds at home but in different rooms. Sometimes there are so many cats in one I have to go in another room.
The twin beds in the camper are not full size twins. Sugar has to sleep on the sofa.

Afternoon all. Nicole’s rain is hitting us. It’s been raining pretty much all day with a couple of brief breaks and temp up t 60. Not looking forward to next week’s highs and lows…it’ll definitely be more like winter and we might get some snow flurries. At least that’s what they’re saying. Guess it was going to happen but sure have been spoiled with the higher temps. I got my shopping done yesterday so car is in the garage and I’m tucked inside staying dry. I made a pot of pasta fasul or at least how DH made it. Seems there are lots of versions of it but this is our family’s. Haven’t made it in a very long time so we’ll see how it turns out! Irmi, glad you guys are okay. That had to be scary. Barb, hope you find just what you’re looking for. You’ve gotten some great advise and will know when you find the right rig for you. Again so enjoying reading about everyone’s adventures. Cheryl, hope you’re able to get some answers to what going on with your TT. My sister lived in Tucson for many years until her husband had to take a transfer to Denver area or an early retirement. He chose the transfer and he’s still doing consulting work with the company. Don’t think he’ll ever totally retire! Need to go stir my soup so will just wish you all a good rest of your day. And a thanks to all the veterans and families of them.

Good evening gals!
Have been working on the living room most of the day. Had to move several bins out into the porch so I could wash the floor in there and clean around the furniture. Just have a little left to do in there tonight. I also sold my upright air fryer and my toaster oven since I have a new toaster oven/air fryer in one unit. I baked a potato in it last night and it was really good! Still have my countertop microwave to sell.
The other day I came across an ebike on Amazon that was on clearance from $800 marked down to $199!
It is a big name brand with excellent reviews and is smaller and lighter than the one I have and it folds in half. It has smaller tires and they are fatter so they will ride better on sand (thinking in Q). So I ordered it. Just couldn't pass it up! I will sell the one I have now. The new one will be easier to take with me and use. I plan to get a flat platform hitch rack with side rails to put it on folded up. That will give me room to put other things on the rack too. I was just having trouble figuring out how I was going to lift my bike on a bike rack. Even Linda was having issues lifting hers (full sized bike) up on her rack and getting it down and she is stronger and taller than me. Am hoping this works out better. Will use the extra money I get from selling my other bike to pay for the hitch rack and still have a couple hundred bucks left over for other stuff I need.
Tomorrow I will be working on the porch. Lots of cleaning to do out there since there is a ton of dirt and dust all over, including in the carpet.
We have the hamburgers at the clubhouse at noon and ice cream social. I will go again but get the hamburger instead of the chicken this time.
I love chicken but not when it isn't cooked enough and tough.
It is already getting dark and it isn't even 5pm yet! I feel like it is almost bedtime when it gets dark out.

Nights here in Valley of Fire have been dropping into the low 40s, or even upper 30s. So, tonight, I reached down to pick something off the floor in my living area, but near the cab. I was reminded how much cold air was coming from the cab. I have a privacy curtain between my cab and the rest of the motorhome, but it only goes down about halfway. Plus, it is a curved space, so it really does not even hang over the step that goes down to the cab. When I had to spend some time in early November in Ohio and that winter in Eugene getting my CLL treatment, I took an old quilted bedspread and tucked it under the mattress in the overhead bunk area and taped it around the corner to stop the air coming in. But this is not practical because I had to take it down when I drove somewhere.
Anyway, about 3 years ago, I bought some fabric that was big enough to go all the way to the floor. It is somewhat heavy so it will not let air blow through. The current privacy curtain snaps into place, and several years ago, I made a black mesh daytime semi-privacy curtain that fits on the same snaps. I don't have a sewing machine, so I just used that fabric stuff that you iron on to make a top hem for the snaps. And the snaps come in a kit. All you do is measure and mark the spaces, make a tiny hole, and use a hammer and a rock to install snaps.
So, I dug out the material I bought and found the iron-on stuff I had left over. I have decided to get off my rear and start this by ironing a top hem tomorrow. Bottom hem will be selvedge. So I should be able to do this tomorrow and maybe even put on some of the snaps. That will really make a difference in drafts on the floor!!! Been putting this off literally for three years!!!!
At least days are sunny and in high 50s or low 60s, so days are fine, but this will really help my chilly nights. I have a great down comforter and have been running my two small electric heaters, but getting up to go to the bathroom is cold, and i hate to run my regular furnaces so much.

Judy, I'm glad you said something about blocking off the cab. It's going to be cold where I'm going next week. I have some insulated curtains that I use to block off the cab and I don't remember where they are. I can't remember yesterday so I don't know what I did with them when it warmed up.

FYI, I did not find my bike keys, but i did call a Pedego dealer in LV and gave them the serial number. They are holding a set of keys for me, plus I am going to drop it off the day before I fly to Ohio. They are going to clean and tune it up, plus tighten my chain. I have not ridden it since I fell in Edinburgh and then fell again in Rocky Mountain Ntl Park, messing up my right knee. It is finally not swollen or sore, so once I get the keys, I can ride my bike again!

been wanting popcorn for a long time finally made it tonight... tasted good I need to find the recipe for a seasoning that I used to use it was really good if I remember right the people on Food Network name of Neely perhaps gave it one time,,,hopefully it's in my computer if not well we will try google... or Food network forgot that would work as well
I was a lazy bum today read scriptures then decided to put tassels on my scarf... so finely did that I am not sure but I am not sure if I put an even amount of fringe on each side afraid to count... one side was easier than the other in placing the fringe... my 1/2 row of Swedish Weave took longer and part of the next one that is an easier one to do so should get the part of row finished and the next one done tomorrow....
some time next week I need to go to the yarn shop and see if they can help me fix my knitting problem or just unwind it... might be the easiest way to go...
not seen the Hallmark movie always enjoy it when I don't remember... because it is Veteran's Day they all have a military theme of some sort this one hasn't had much of one... just now brought the husband into the story and it's 45 minutes till it's ended
been so cold I doubt that it's gotten out of the 30's for the high... I'm almost to the half way point on my crochet afghan
I hope Cheryl you either find another RV or they figure out what the issue is with this one...
you all have a great day
