Good Morning g. Cloudy and 55° Here at the 45th, with some rain moving through. Supposed to be partly cloudy later. Just had 3 beautiful 70° Dsys. Got a lot done outside.. Cleaned up leaves and pine needles from neighbors and my yard, cleared the walking path and leaves and pine needles at entrance to sub. Course going to have to do some of them again as last of leaves come down. Then I can store neighbors and my tractors for the winter.
Velda, you asked how I clean up leaves etc. No, I don’t rake. I have a Stihl leaf blower and a John Deere lawn tractor equipped with dual mulching blades and a bagging system. I use the blower to blow the leaves from areas I can’t get the tractor into, either into the woods or out where I can pick thrm up with the tractor. I take the bagger system off in the spring and just mow grass with the tractor.
You had also asked me a while back about how I make my wood crafts patterns and stuff. I have not forgotten about that. I have been taking pictures as I go along on my latest project, but it is a time consuming project that is interrupted with other things, so it is taking a while to get it finished. Soon as I finish up this last piece today then I will post the pictures for you
Sandi, hope your luggage catches up with you. Barbie, you are a bundle of energy, but you have a goal to work toward. Beth, sorry about the delay in heading south. But before long you will be free as a bird. Shirl and Irmi, enjoying your posts. Martha seems to have cats being added to her collection,
As for me today, I am going to head to town to the credit union, store and run a few other errands. Going to be kind of a bit of a fun trip because I am going to pick up some supplies to finish my Thanksgiving display and start getting things to work on the Christmas stuff. I know it seems early to be tackling holiday stuff but these things take time. I don’t want to be rushed at the last minute. Also want to get the patterns cut out before the weather gets too cold to do anything in the garage.
So, I best get my act together and get going here. Wishing you all a wonderful day.
