Foggy Friday

Well, actually every day has been foggy for the past week. It was sunny this morning, but turned foggy quickly. Frankly, the rain is approaching this afternoon, and based on the cold weather, fog, and approaching rain, I have decided that this is not the best time to visit the coast of Washington or Oregon. The middle and east of these states are a lot warmer, so those would be fine in late October.
Anyway, I am spending my time catching up on POA stuff and reading. I have to enter prescription copays and make changes to recurring premium changes into my aunt's medical reimbursement account. The state of Georgia adds money to the account each year as part of my uncle's retirement plan from Georgia Tech, but this was set up in about 2014, and my uncle could not use a computer. Plus, he started to have problems with dementia in 2017 so never got anything reimbursed. The result was about $20,000 in the account unused--a total waste of funds! It has taken me quite a while to whittle it down to about $4,000. I have entered his monthly Medicare B and Supplement, plus prescription and dental insurance, so that has taken a chunk out. Also reimburses for dental copays. Took me a while also to learn to use the complicated system, but it seems to be working now. Whew. Being a POA is not easy.
Have a good day, everyone!
