Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Mornin' ladies~~~

Happy to hear Sheila is on her trip, she may enjoy today's title. Sandi will send prayers for your procedure and that the Tesla comes early to keep you busy. Martha I did have a giggle about the cats letting you know what they want.
Those dealing with fires and smoke, I hope for relief for you. I'd like to head that way next spring, but it seems the fire season gets longer and longer.

Well, I didn't get in the road yesterday. Here's what I posted on FB:
The panel and outlet have been fixed and new drawer glide installed.

Slide problem is half done. Rail was hung high so new one installed, but it caused a problem in the slide floor, creating ruts, which caused the one side to lag behind. Slide wood floor needs to be replaced.

They have the floor section instock, but have to get it from the actual factory, which is where the customer service campground is located.

So not quite free camping last night since it was to late for a refund from my next stop. As long as everything is fixed, I'm OK with it
.

Very foggy here in north central Indiana. The factory was already hoping at 4:30 am with semis coming and going, tractors moving campers around, and beep, beep, beeps of back up warnings. Have to be back The other location by 8am.

Have a good day everyone.
Cheryl

Morning Cheryl and all who follow. This is also National Filled donut day too. Sure you can color and chomp on a filled doughnut of some kind while you’re coloring, not a bad combo

Sounds like you are really getting the trailer fixed up good. You should be ready to roll before long.

It’s cloudy here and the sun is trying to peek out. Not supposed to be too bad of a day. I am planning to go and work in The yard at a little while, but first I am watching the procession that will take the Queen‘s casket to Westminster Hall.It is going to be a very colorful affair with all of the different uniforms, especially the red and black of the Kings Guar, The men of the Royal family including the King in their uniforms Flags lining the streets etc. along with thousands of people. Say that about 750,000 people in a line at least 5 miles long will be following them procession.

O’Sharon, I hear ya with the fall chores. I’m going to do some raking today just to clean up some of the little junk that the rain brought down and toss out some flowers and put some other things away. I don’t have much yardwork to do right now until the leaves start coming down later next month. But I do have a few little projects that I wanna finish up out there. This is the time of the year that I get ahead of my spring projects. One of them is to finish laying some Riverstone along the side of my shed where I put that little white fence.

Molly‘s new dog bed arrived yesterday, but I don’t know if she’s going to use it or not. She’s been spending time either stretched out on the floor, sleeping on the loveseat or my guest Ed. I bought it because I wanted to take it along to the UP with us so that she won’t have something to sleep on because she can’t get on the furniture up there. I normally don’t allow my dogs on the furniture but because I’m here by myself it doesn’t matter. I have a sofa cover on my loveseat and my guest bed is covered with an old ld quilt. Don’t even have the bed made up. Can do that if somebody gonna be coming over for a night or A few days. I haven’t had any overnight company for over a year. So if she doesn’t use it I will send it back. Piper has her own.

Wish I can send the sunrise cool weather to you folks out west. Anita, I did not realize that there were fires in Washington. My mother was born in Duvall which is west of the Bolt fire.

The procession has begun, so I will wish you all a nice day and go watch some history

Good morning gals!

Woke up early but still hanging out in bed. Between the mowers outside and Romeow's zoomies, no way to sleep late. Got an email yesterday that they will be scalping the lawn on Thursday so that will be a big mess! Will have to cover the things I have on the deck really well. That dust and grass bits get into every little nook and cranny!

They got torrential rains up near LA the other day and then some more yesterday which caused major mudslides up in the lower mountains where they had fires a couple years ago. A mudslide came thru the little town where I went with my friend last fall for their apple festival. Luckily, no one hurt or worse, but it was a real mess with a 4 foot high mud flow right thru town and into houses.

I tried out the "dry" setting on my mini split over night and surprisingly it stayed real cool all night! Actually was a couple degrees cooler this morning than what I have the AC set to normally. So that is good! I will keep using that setting to get the humidity out of here.

Well, the mowing has stopped and Romeow got worn out from his zoomies and is back to sleep. But now I am wide awake...

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Cheryl, you are sure having a lot done on your camper. Good thing you are at the factory because anyplace else would take a year to fix. I haven't had to bring mine in since the air conditioner problem but then again I haven't used it. We'll see how this weekend goes. At least I will only be 30 miles from home. I get emails from the World Market store and I got an email with an ad for The Cat Butt coloring book. The next time I go to Lafayette I have to go check it out.

I'm glad Sheila made her cruise, just hope she feels well enough to enjoy it.

When I was in college, a hundred year ago, the only place in town that delivered food was the donut shop. I ate so many donuts that I still don't like donuts. I'll pick up an apple fritter sometimes at Walmart. Back then there was one pizza shop, one hamburger place and the hotel down town had a lunch restaurant. I forgot the drive thru liquor store. It's still open and I have to go by when I camp in Natchitoches.

I didn't get much sleep last night. My computer was doing an update and I didn't want to go to bed until it finished. I wanted to go back to bed but have too much to do. I got a text that Sugar's pills are ready so have to go to Walmart. I'll pick up what ever I need for the campout. I forgot to turn the refrigerator on when I went out to feed the cats. Can't remember two things.

Sue said: "The men of the Royal family including the King in their uniforms Flags lining the streets etc. along with thousands"

Probably because of your vision issues, you missed that also in uniform, walking beside her brother King Charles III, was Princess Anne, Princess Royal, in her military uniform of many years! Also Prince Harry and Prince Andrew were not in uniform due to their transgressions against the Royal Family.

Sad day for all the Royal Family.

I didn’t miss them Velda, Should’ve phrased it a little differently. But I did watch the whole procession and short service. Was beautiful.

I, too, hope Sheila is having a great time! Not many stops along the way so hope she's relaxing at sea. She and I tried to get together while she was on her way to Seattle, but it didn't happen.

Sandi, hoping your procedure goes well. I must admit I'm one that doesn't understand electric cars when there's so many power issues in California. Can't wait to see photos!

While I admire Queen Elizabeth, I'm just not up for all the happenings - probably because looking at Charles and Camilla makes me cringe. Cheryl, that is great service you are getting! Sue, we were dealing with intermittent smoke from a couple fires north of us and then the Bolt fire started. The mountain pass is still closed. Amtrak is suspending service due to possible strike. My getting to Seattle area next Wednesday may be interesting! Thinking I wouldn't mind the North Cascade Highway north of here, but it also has smoke. BFF learned this morning she has Covid. We thought her stuffiness was from smoke last week, but it hung on.

I've set up a new TV in the office and finished hemming a pair of slacks for my daughter. On to the next project.

Anita, I laughed out loud with your cringe comment. They make me cringe also.

Today was another long day here. Just when I think I've made my decision to return next year something happens to make me start rethinking it.
