Beautiful Tuesday

Good Morning. It’s a beautiful morning out there. Sunshine, clear blue sky and 55°. I’m going to enjoy this day.
It just poured yesterday morning for quite a while and I know we probably got an inch maybe even a bit more much-needed rain. I didn’t care as I was working in the garage and just let it rain. After having not such great luck making a pallet board pumpkin the day before, I tried something different, which is how I see it really should be done and have three pumpkins cut and assembled. It is a matter of laying the pallet boards side by side and tracing the pattern on them and then cutting out the pieces one board at a time. It’s time consuming though. Think I have enough leftover pieces to make one more but I also have to cut out the stems and the leaves. But I don’t think I will do it again after I get these done As it takes time as I said and a number of nails. Be easier and less materials needed if I were to just cut it from regular lumber. But I shall see what they look like when I get done. Well post a picture for you.
I’m thinking of heading for the blueberry farm this morning and picking some fresh blueberries. They are way cheaper than buying them already picked and it is a beautiful morning. These are high bush berries so I know having to work at Ground level. Plus they grow them chem free. They are so sweet. I made a blueberry pie about a week or so ago and it was scrumptious. Plus I love to eat them. I can store them in the freezer for winter. Cherries are in too and that may be the next thing. Growers are saying that because he of the drought conditions in some places, the cherries seems to be exceptionally sweet this year. I have a hankering for a cherry pie. And then there is the sweet corn. Stuff is coming in hot and heavy.
So if I am going to get out and pick berries I had better get moving here. Take advantage of the cool morning air. Have a great day everyone.
