Morning All, accuweather says it will be cloudy today. It also says tree pollen will be high and my arthritis low. Lol Nice activity yesterday. We all feel the same that we have nothing to post. Thought about that, Lyn practiced breathing exercise, goes to the pool and rides her scooter to pick up breakfast, Sandi brings beauty to our troubled world, Shelia putting aside her travels to take care of Mama, Martha ignoring her cat swinging on the curtain, Audrey taking care of our friend, Tina, Liz's picture of her tranquil garden in a chaotic world, Sue’s boundless energy, Barbies trials and tribulations in the shop. Everyone offers something, a suggestion for dinner or just to let us know you are ok because we care. My short term memory is shot so can not acknowledge everyone. Just know you are appreciated and bring something into our everyday existence. Off my soapbox. Lol. It’s laundry day and having leftover shrimp salad on a bed of lettuce for dinner and two Milano cookies for dessert. Be safe

Good Morning, We have a light rain but temps have cooled down. Sudden eighty degree days like yesterday are uncomfortable. Shirl thanks for the motivation yesterday morning. It was good to hear from so many.
Irmi asked about Pippa so I took this picture this morning. She had a busy day yesterday a friend brought her Carin Terrier over to play. Pippa was too shy to play as we still have to keep her separate from our dogs. Toby still wants to kill her and Emma is afraid of her! Emma weighs 55 pounds and Pip weighs ten! It is a three ring circus keeping them separate. I really didn't expect it would take this long and I'm ready to call in a professional!! The Cairn is going to come back so that will help.

Pippa is adorable and I'm glad she's getting a friend to come help her learn to play.

Shirl, thanks for kicking some butts yesterday. It was wonderful to have so many pipe in. And I hope everyone realizes we all love anything you have to say. Never feel it's too little, etc. Heck I'm often stuck on weather. It's a cold 24 right now but should get into the 60's today. I'm holding off another hour or so on heading to Cedar City. I'm off work (kind of) today so Ty and I are still cuddling under the covers.

Oh, and none of you can post to many pictures of your beautiful works, whether art, gardening, etc. So there!

Good morning. Big weather change here but so enjoyed the 70+ weekend days. Today cloudy with chance of rain but it is almost 50° so not bad. Need to rummage thru my freezer and see what will be for dinner. I was looking at recipes last night just to try to make something different. I am getting tired of the same old stand bys. Next time I go to Costco I will pick up a roasted chicken and make some sour cream enchiladas, and a chicken and rice casserole. I like having those in the freezer just to pull out for a quick meal. I package those in individual servings and freeze. So now I am on the hunt for some new and different recipes that will freeze well. I have some ham in the freezer I should use so might make some scalloped potatoes and ham today. Those freeze real well. Okay off to do a few housekeeping chores, shower and get my day started.

Karen, I didn’t mention how inspiring you have been. First as a traveling nurse and especially to pick up the pieces of your life after the devastating fire. Lots of amazing women on this site. Karen in Texas, one day at a time, hang in there. I know I have forgotten many. If anyone remembers a special person, event or act please post.

Sheila, I saw the picture of your food on Facebook and it looked so good. You are doing good with your air fryer. I need to step up my game.

The next time my roses are blooming a lot I will take a picture and post it. The wind yesterday beat them up. The only way I know how to get a picture to my computer is to post one from my phone to Facebook and then copy it to my pictures on the computer. When I try to post to the forum from my tablet when I'm camping I always touch the wrong thing and my whole post disappears.

BJ, Pippa's doll is almost as big as she is. Sugar has no interest in toys. She is only interested in something to eat. There are three of the bones from Petsmart in the back yard. The kind that come stuffed with something. When she gets all she can out she is about done with them. I see them moved sometimes but haven't seen her chewing on one.

It's already 81 this morning and looks like it wants to rain. The radar shows a lot of rain across the Northern part of the state. It's probably coming South. I should probably quit drinking coffee, get dressed and finish mowing. I forgot an area in the front.

I am so forgetful that I forgot that Charlie was in the kennel last night. I put him in the kennel to feed him canned food so the other cats don't eat it. He has a bowl of water and a litter box and about all he does any way is sleep. Two of the cats that were missing showed up but Mini Moo and Inky are still missing. They are very friendly so maybe they found someone that would feed them. Mini Moo was the one that walked with us and is Sugar's favorite cat.

I have turned the house and camper over looking for the missing set of keys and can't find them. It's not like it's something small. There are 6 keys and the battery thing that locks and unlocks the front doors.

Well, I have yet to take some decent photos of my garden, but (since you asked!) I'm hoping that "jewelry art" comes under your "art" posting request, so here goes! ;)

My "Etsy Project" is keeping me incredibly busy, and also in a better frame of mind, over-all. Makes me wake up in the morning with a smile on my face, so that is a good thing!

The photos below are kind of blurry - don't know why, these are just links to photos on my Etsy page.

For more and better photos of each piece, I have included a link below each photo.

Any questions, please ask! I encourage anyone that is doing any kind of hand-made art (Barbie and Sandi, I'm looking at both of you!) to try their luck on Etsy. Fairly easy to do, but a bit time-consuming. Etsy is widely known as a "hand-made" marketplace.

I have sold a few of my pieces, the best thing about that is that I then feel free to browse the web looking for new and better beads and jewelry fixings! Not to mention watching hours of YouTube jewelry-making videos - guilt free! LOL.

Thanks, Beth.

Anne

Anne, your jewelry is beautiful.

When I was camping I went to one of the dollar stores with my friends. They are crafters. We were there an hour while they tried to figure out what they could do with the leftover Easter stuff that was on sale. I was about ready to sit on one of the stools that was for sale. I told them I wasn't going to Hobby Lobby with them.

Jane and I just returned from a four day dog show in Columbus. I stayed with Cindy and because temperatures cooperated Jane was able to stay in the van at night. Two other dog show friends (a mother and daughter) stayed in CIndy's guest room along with their two Field Spaniels so Jane staying in the travel crate in the van worked best. Cindy was going to give me her bed and sleep on the couch because she said I was too tall to fit on her couch but I told her the only way Jane and I would come is if I got to use my air mattress on the floor in the living room. Cindy accepted my proposal reluctantly. Jane seemed interested in supporting her sister all weekend and while Swifty got pointed to for Best of Opposites, Jane picked up Selects, which means next best. etc. Jane will pick up that last 3 point major but given that she carries so little coat furnishings, it will just happen one day and surprise everyone. There will be the judge that watched her move and just goes with her. In the meantime Lark keeps asking when she can enter more Rally performance trials. Don't remember if I mentioned that Audrey who is almost nine was diagnosed with Addison's but she is back to her normal self with her medication. SHe will have to stay on it the rest of her life.

Wanda cat left about two weeks ago on a walk about and has not returned. I had left for the store and the dogs were outside. WHen I returned the dogs had managed to get the door open and were inside to proudly greet me. Wanda who had been showing some interest in the door and the deck (she actually tried to head out once when the dogs were going out but put on the breaks when she realized that it was wet and rainy out there) apparently saw the open door and took it as a sign. Our property back up to a treeline and hillside that then goes down to a small field and a creek. I thought maybe she would miss her food and her dogs and wander back but no luck. Then again she might have found another house that needed a friendly cat or the coyotes found her. This morning the Man in the Recliner announced that he found the handiwork of a very busy and apparently happy mouse and the sorry remains of some gnawed on English Muffins. Wanda cat was his so I am waiting to see how long it takes for him to think that the house needs a mouser. Wanda was a good mouser and never hesitated to take on the role when she came. I don't think I have been catless in almost 50 years. And there have been many talented cats. In my imagination I see Wanda wandering back after a year and telling the dogs all about her adventures.....

Tina, do they have Paw Boost where you live? I see lost and found cats and dogs posted on Facebook all the time.

Anne, just saw your post and clicked on the items. I am guessing you reviewed what other hand made jewelry items are going for but I think that you are underestimating the value of your art. I usually attend several fine art festivals each year. The Pottery Man will not set up at "Craft Shows" because of the lack of quality products that show up, etc. I have seen few booths with as distinctive jewelry as yours. Anyway, between the cost of materials, the time it takes for you to chose your materials and wrap the wire just so and your knowledge of materials and your creative vision of balance, these pieces could go for much more. Value your time and your talent. Think of the per/hour rates that many jobs get.

You might want to check out this jewelry store we have here in Lebanon.

Excotic Jewelry and Art, Lebanon, Ohio. It comes up when you Google it. Apparently they no longer maintain a website but they are on Facebook and you can see some of the diverse pieces. An older lady owns the shop and used to travel to the Southwest to purchase uniques jewelry. I don't think she travels much anymore but has been in the business long enough to have all the contacts she needs to find unique pieces. She also purchase directly from artist for resale. I glanced at a couple of the reviews and almost laughed. Yes she might yell at someone regarding a misbehaving dog. She has over the years always had at least two cats that live in the shop. When walking by on the street you can sometimes see them lounging on the bed/s near the front windows...

Just saw you post Martha. Yes, Dennis posted her picture on the local Lost Pets site and was pleased to see it being reposted. He also spoke to several of the neighbors. We have a couple of cats that routinely wander through our property. One is a known to belong to one of our close neighbors and the other just started to show up this spring.....

Good Morning, Annie, your pieces are beautiful.
I get so many, many emails that are nothing but junk. It takes me time to delete each one. I never bother opening them and reading. It is irritating.
It is a beautiful day here. I will be heading to the pool soon. I have a softball and a soccer game to watch today.
I am reading a book by JK Rollings. An adult mystery. It is difficult keeping my interest.

Good Morning!

Anne, your pieces are lovely! Lyn and Martha, sorry to read of the vehicle breakdowns! So good to see so many posts no matter how itty bitty your news. Lots of us in the same boat! Enjoy seeing what you all are creating.

Cloudy day. Yesterday I could see a breeze in this protected spot so knew it wasn't a good day to ride. 3 weeks until road trip so need to get my ducks in a row!

I love the jewelry you posted Anne. They’re truly beautiful and I especially like the “Autumn” one. I agree with Tina regarding increasing your pricing.

Beautiful day here reaching the mid 80’s a little later.

Ran out to pick up some prescriptions and a couple of grocery items. Got back just in time to hook up and put clothes in laundry. Then a storm hit, but the rain is done now, and the temps have dropped about 20 degrees.

Had a good visit with my son and family yesterday. He picked me up at the campground so I could stay longer. We all went out for Japanese dinner and had cheesecake when we got back. Grand-daughter got the guitar and other stuff she wanted, so she has money from me to spend on whatever. Got leftover cheesecake to eat now.

Put two loads of laundry in the campground machines. I really like that Ohio state parks have washers and dryers in every rest room. I am in a quiet part of the park, on top of a hill, so it is quieter here. Problem with this place is that they have only 20 amps and the boxes are almost on the ground, so I have trouble plugging in. Chatted with the maintenance guys who stopped in and they said in November they were going to replace all of the electrical boxes and put gravel around them because of the mud. That will make things a lot easier. Now, if they could only add more asphalt on the sides of the sites and make them more level. Some of them look like ski slopes!

And I agree that prices on the jewelry should be increased! All of you who do art are worth more than you are charging!!
