Morning All, sunny and a little cooler but did not get severe weather. Have not been having fun but just relaxing. Glad I have flower pots on dollys so I can roll them in the sun or out of harms way. Barbie was sorry you missed the dance, everyone looked like they were having fun. If you had run fast you could have joined them in the pool and you wouldn’t have needed to shower and fix your hair. Beth, safe travels. Sheila, hope you have used your air fryer. I fixed Parmesan crusted asparagus in mine yesterday for dinner. I continue to watch YouTube garden shows and think I found the solution of how to contain a monster tomato plant in a container. The plant in a container gets too top heavy and a cage doesn’t help. If you use two cages, place first one upside down in pot, place second one over the first and then use a sturdy stake to attach both cages it should work. Hope I explained that well enough. Anyhow get a pot , a plant and grow some tomatoes because it doesn’t seem anyone else is having fun either. Lol. Be safe. A Juliet grape tomato from last year. Sorry about the large ugly hand. I don’t know what I am doing.

Good Morning, I went to a concert last Thursday! Andre Rieu. It was fabulous. I had been watching him on utube. Although there were signs all over the lobby, no recording allowed, people were recording anyway. When the woman next to me held up her phone to record, she completely blocked my view of the stage. I told her in no uncertain terms to put her phone down! She did, end of problem. When people can watch on utube, why in the world do they have to record?!?!?!.
I was very tired the next day after being up so late.
Yesterday I went to a T ball game to see my GGD play softball. Five year olds. Fun!
Sheila, sad news about your brother…..

I didn't do much yesterday and doesn't look like today will be any different. I did make it to town to bring Sugar's prescription. Walmart has to order the medicine and the pharmacist questioned the dose, 2 1/2 pills 3 times a day. She said she would call LSU and I was afraid there wouldn't be anyone to talk to on Saturday. She talked to some one and they changed the dose to one pill with the same mg. I just hope the pill isn't too big. It's a good thing I still had some pills that the vet had prescribed and then told me to stop giving them to her.

I really should go mow but will probably put it off until tomorrow. We supposedly have an inch of rain coming on Tuesday. Yeah, right.

No more tomatoes than I eat I'm not going to fight trying to grow some. It's all I can do to keep my rose bed in shape. There is some bush that is trying to grow next to one of my roses. I keep cutting it back but think I am going to have to dig up the rose bush to get rid of whatever is growing with it. I need to pick up more mulch but it's getting harder to move those big bags around. I need to move the Ficus tree out of the old house. I just hope we don't have any more freezes.

Lyn, T ball games are funny. My younger son never made it past T ball. They would put him in outfield and he would be laying down.

Sheila, sorry to hear about your brother. I need to see if I can give blood. I have been trying to take my iron pills so that I can give.

Martha

Good morning!

Sheila, so sorry about your brother. I had hepatitis over 50 years ago so they don't want my blood. Shirl, I am so tempted to try tomatoes, but with traveling I'm not sure I'd have much success. Lyn, I am so jealous you saw Andre Rieu! I have one of his DVDs. Judy, your Shark Valley story reminded me of our bike ride there. We had loaded the bikes in the MH and when we got back to the MH, a man was taking photos of it. Turned out he was French - guess it was new to him.

I finally talked to a person and also got an email response about my phone. Not happy that they sent it standard shipping to Wisconsin and won't ship it back to me directly. If you have an iPhone 7 or 7+ and need a new battery, be sure and ask ahead what they will do if it has 'loop disease'! Kids picked me up to go have a beer and tavern food yesterday - was good to catch up! Having dinner with them tonight. Watching a lot of basketball during March Madness.

It is a beautiful day. Need to check tire pressure on the Sling and make a grocery run. I am so ready for salad!

Sheila, so sorry about your brother. Anita, I also had hepatitis way back when and can't give blood. Someone recently told me I should ask if I could give plasma. I need to check on that.

I got my groceries and didn't include mayo. Ha. Made egg salad today and almost didn't have enough. I would have sworn I had a new one in the cabinet. Wrong lol Probably a good thing because I don't use it often.

I've been doing the little necessities in preparation to leave. When traveling it's easy. When I sit still for whole seasons it requires thinking. Haha.

Anita, crazy that they won't ship the phone directly to you.

Sorry about your brother from me also. One of the hard things about getting old is losing the people we grew up with and love. It is really losing a part of our past every time we lose someone who knew us when we were young. Obviously I cannot give blood because of my CLL. I did give a couple of times when I worked in an office, and both times they had a terrible time getting me to sit up afterwards without passing out! Every time they sat me up, I started to pass out! Took forever to get me back to my office. Cause was probably being dehydrated.

I dumped my tanks today and added water to my tank. Also went out to the nearby visitor center and got some postcards, but looked at the alligators there in the deep pond nearby. Nice boardwalk and ALWAYS good place to see a dozen or so alligators, but the heat started to get to me, so I ended up going back to campground and getting AC running again. Just cannot handle 91 degrees with 85% humidity. Cousin is coming for a visit tomorrow and then I am headed back two days early on Tuesday morning. Some rain now is cooling things off for tonight, but will still be almost as hot tomorrow.

Got three days at Colt Creek near Tampa this week so am going to try to find a tire dealer that can put tires on this vehicle. A couple I called last week did not have a big enough parking lot of jacks to handle a big vehicle so am going to try to find someone who does trucks.

It has been a beautiful spring day here, 70 with only a slight wind. So many trees are starting to bloom the next week will be really pretty.
I'm cooking chicken today and will make chicken soup tomorrow. I bought local chicken so hope it is as good as I'm hoping.
Tonight the new season of Call the Midwife starts! I thought the show had ended so hope DH didn't read the TV listing wrong and it isn't a repeat.
Judy if I were you I would permanently mark Florida off my list of go to places! Sheila I'm so sorry to hear about your brother.

my brother's went over to see our brother today and my son in law is coming over to take us over... I'm a woose driving the pass... and not totally sure that mom's car will make it plus for a car it's size it is a gas hog... :o but perhaps that is in town mileage I've only checked it once.... and it only uses premium that is almost as expensive as diesel :o so would rather have a driver... it's hard to know what to do for mom it's really hard on her... she has lost two husbands, 2 children, 2 son in laws, 1 daughter in law, a grandson... now to know she has lived long enough to bury another child... can't be easy
I know that some of you stream have you ever heard of BritBox? been seeing ads for it some of you might be interested in it...
saw on Yahoo a gal driving a van spent 750 in a week read some of her expenses she wasn't doing a lot of outrages things but boy I couldn't maintain 750 a week I'd be broke in less than 3 weeks... she is hanging out in CA it sounded like...
well it was a typical Sunday up to church home read scriptures and got in a 45 min nap put a roast and veggies in oven so supper was as easy as setting the table and taking the pan out of the oven...
you all have a great day
thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.. I too am told they won't accept my blood something was discovered weird the last time keep planning on next time I go to the dr will ask them about it but since I've not been to the dr in forever who knows when that will happen

Am having weird evenings! Last night I took a small bite of Cannabis chocolate to help me sleep since I was so exhausted after work, but also wired (the too-tired syndrome!). Then started posting on here. By the time I finished typing and reread what I wrote and it was so mixed up and crazy, I deleted most of it!

Today was pretty busy at work too but a shorter day (only 6 hours). I came home, layed on my bed and was doing Solitaire on my phone. Fell asleep. I woke up later and the clock said 6:30. It was dark out so I assumed it was 6:30 am and I had slept thru the night, still dressed in my work clothes. Went back to sleep figuring I had a couple hours left before getting up for work. Woke up later at 10:30. Was still dark and realized it was still Sunday night! :o Put my PJ's on and am getting caught up on my e-mails and on here now.

Been super windy the past couple days! (again! ). I left my patio umbrella up on Friday and was really worried coming home yesterday that I would find it shredded and/or the glass table flipped over with it and broken. Luckily, it all held up in the winds! Put the umbrella down when I got home.

One more day of work and then 4 days off. Lots of clean-up to do around here after rummaging thru bins and boxes to find stuff for the sale. Also need to figure out what to do with the stuff that didn't sell. Probably just donate it. Don't want to pack it up and store it for another 6 months or more. It just needs to go away! Also have regular housecleaning to do since I am a week+ behind on that, plus laundry is way overdue again. No rest for the weary!

I need to get started on my cat thunder gourd too. Won't take too long but just trying to decide on colors.

My strawberry plant is doing good. I get one juicy red strawberry every day or so. My cherry tomato plants are doing well too. Lots of tiny tomatoes starting to appear on it now. I have not had any luck with big tomatoes here but the cherry ones always do well and I really like those anyways.

Still trying to grow out my hair. It seems to be getting curlier the longer it gets. It still has a ways to go to get to my shoulders but it is getting there. I was hoping it would be long enough by then end of May to put in a little pony tail but I am not sure it will be. Could be hard to keep growing it when it gets to 115* and I can't get it off my neck. Loving the curls tho! :D My hair has been straight all my life until I hit menopause. Didn't realize it was getting curly for a few years since I kept it so short.

I get to cat-sit for Lily (the white Maine Coon I rescued a couple years ago) next weekend! Yay! She is such a sweetheart!

I guess I better try to get back to sleep now. It just turned to midnight.
