Morning All, snowing so hard I can’t see across the road. Now prediction 6-12”. Snow plows are busy on the roads. Sounds like a fuzzy pj day. Charged all the devices and downloaded library books just in case. Sheila, my brother has a Verizon landline and that is the phone that doesn’t work when it rains or snows  Going to jump in the shower while I have hot water, just in case.Sorry about picture size, don’t know how to reduce it. Be safe

Luca the Yorkie is obsessed with the snow and keeps ring the bell to go out.

Good morning, I am feeling better this morning so think I am on the way to recovery. I hope so, this is day 9. Not great yet but leaning that way. Will just be another sweats day in the recliner with my heated throw. Weather is wicked this morning, rain coming down in torrents and gusty winds so a perfect day to continue my hunkering down.

Karen, I'm so happy to hear you're on the mend.

Chilly this morning, so it was an invigorating walk. Nothing really planned today except it's similar to a day before travel. Dump tanks, put away hoses, etc, this afternoon. Make moving a very simple task tomorrow. Maybe I'll just move the hoses and outside chair, porch mat etc this afternoon too.

Shirl, with the cooler weather I'm wearing the compression socks. I doubt I'll discover any differences in a day, but you never know. It's been a long time since I've worn socks of any kind. And your pictures are not too big. Especially for those of us reading on our phones!

Beth, We have a age difference so hard to compare. I don’t put the socks on as soon as I wake up and walking around find myself getting a little short of breath. I guess if the socks get blood to my heart properly everything functions better. Lol. I do breath easier with them on. Of course I am breathing out cuss words getting them on.

Good afternoon ladies!

Karen, I'm so glad you're starting to feel better. Barbie, I hope you are, too. Shirl, between you & Martha, I cackle out loud reading your posts.

There's nothing in particular going on around here, but we had a cold front come through last night bringing lots of wind and much cooler temperatures. We're going to wake up in the low 40's tomorrow morning but bounce back into the low 70's by afternoon.

Continue staying safe!

Got the bone graft done today on the socket where my big back tooth was pulled last summer. The dentist spent a ton of time repairing the hole he found between my sinus and the hole where the tooth was pulled from. I don't exactly know what he did, but there was a lot of pounding and grinding, and then he stuffed in a lot of bone, but he said he would need to add even more during my appointment in May when he will also put in the socket for the new tooth.

No sucking from a straw for a couple of weeks, and I postponed my flight back to Florida by a day, to prevent damage to the fix to the hole he made. Do not want to have connection to sinus because it could cause more infections. Pain was throbbing, so took some Vicondin and feel much better. Soft food and liquids for a couple of days, also.

Anyway, no snow here south of Cleveland, but really cold, so winter is definitely here. DIL went with her mother and brother to DC, and got stuck there because of snow storm and not only missed the burial, but are having trouble getting home.

Shirl, your picture is pretty. I wouldn't be going anywhere with that much snow. I didn't know anyone but AT&T had land lines. Every time it rains my land line gets noise. We have had so much water damage over the years I got tired of calling them. It will eventually dry out and work.

I have trouble just putting my socks and tennis shoes on. I would hate to try to put on compression socks now. I had to wear one for 6 weeks. I had a blood clot in my leg when I was in my 20's. I don't know what I would have done if my boss hadn't let me keep working. We put my desk up on some of the old wooden coke cases and I worked standing up for 6 weeks. I was divorced and had to support myself and my son.

Judy, hope you don't have any problems with your bone graft. That sounds painful.

It got down to 29 last night and is suppose to freeze again tonight. Glad I covered the faucets. It will be back in the 70's in a couple of days. I had bought a heated pet pad when I had to keep Mr P pinned up. I put it in Hanks old dog house. I shined a flash light that way last night and I could see 3 sets of eyes in there. The cats can go in the old house to get out of the cold. This morning it was still 55 degrees in there.
