TUESDAY AND BACK TO WORK I MUST GO!

GOOD EARLY MORNING ALL!!!
When my alarm went off, I couldn't remember where I was, or how far I had to drive today! We got up early on the trips down and back, to make good use of daylight and lighter traffic. (This didn't work on the way back, however, as the traffic through that eastern corridor from Williamsburgh to my bro's in Paoli, PA was bumper-to-bumper, and sometimes stopped with people apparently taking a half day off from work for the Holiday weekend!) My son set my cell phone alarm to LOUDEST, and CAN-CAN music to get up by! If you've never gotten up doing the can-can, you don't know what you've missed!
18 degrees here this morning, so my driveway will still be frozen mud. I heard it's go up to 50 or so today, however, so have another full-time mud season to go through yet. I guess it was frozen most of the time when I was gone, so had no time to settle down to summer-time regular dirt. Most of the snow piles have melted way down, although, in the shaded, southern parts of the yard, we still have over a foot on the ground. The southern side of the road is also banked with deep snow from the plows.
I've made some Hazlenut coffee to get my eyes open, and would love to share it with all those who would like a cup. I did a weigh-in last night, thinking that after all those lobsters, (total of 16 in two sessions at the Boston Lobster Feast!!) I would be way heavier than when I left. However, I am actually 2 pounds lighter! Now, if I could only afford to go on a lobsters-only diet up here!!!
Twitch, my 21-year-old cat is none the worse for wear after spending two weeks at the vet's kennel-----in factm, I do believe he seems a bit less senile and stiff with arthritis. As far as I know, they didn't treat him for anything. They did cut his long toenails, however.
My cold, the first one in many years, has settled into my chest this morning from my sinuses, and I am coughing like a TB patient. Sure hope I get over this in a hurry. Makes for bad sleeping when I lie down.
I hope you all have a great Tuesday and let us know what's going on in your neck of the woods. Back to the old grind here!
(Sorry for copying and pasting my early morning message from the other forum----if I don't do that, I won't ever stay caught up and will have to eliminate one or the other of the groups. Those of you who are members of the other forum can just ignore my first post on here! I DO modify it slightly, sometimes, to fit the group and the members.)
