Good morning, Shirl & all who follow,
I really love May gray & June gloom out here. Mornings are delightfully overcast with fog or cloud cover keeping us cool before the sun burns through it all. Definitely my favorite time of day.
Barbie, so glad you got a new job! Hope it turns out to be a nicer environment for you.
By the way, I googled split HVAC systems. It does sound like they are more cost-effective & require less maintenance in the long run, but I doubt our HOA would allow them. I'm just glad to get my 1970 unit replaced for now.
So good seeing Lyn's post.
Good news on your covid vaccination tests, Judy.
Beth, nice to hear you found a little hide-a-way where you can go when you want to.
I didn't get anything done on my bedroom yesterday. Instead I re-connected with a couple of friends in KS via phone & text. I hate how much time had passed since we last talked. Will meet up with them when I go back to KS in October for a wedding. I'm going to like my retirement from grandma duties come January.
Also cleaned & waxed my daughter's car (she left it here in case she returns from France sooner than expected). I used that Wash/Wax stuff that Sandi recommended for our RVs years ago. Wow! that stuff works beautifully - that 22-year old car now shines almost like new.
Off for a good long walk before the sun burns off the 'gloom'.
Take care & enjoy the day.
Catherine
